The rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and tidy, with pleasant views from the window. Highly recommended!

I really love this hotel! The breakfast spread is fantastic and includes local Hiroshima specialties. They also have a complimentary drink machine available from 2 PM to 11 PM. The room condition was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it! There's a large store nearby called Fuji Grand with a supermarket that's open until 11 PM, which is perfect for grabbing drinks and fruit after a day of sightseeing. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that it's a bit of a walk to the tram stop, and you need to take a bus to Hiroshima Station. However, if you're flexible with your time, you can actually walk to the downtown shopping street in just 10-15 minutes. I truly enjoyed my three-day stay here.

I picked the hotel for the location, this year my remit for hotels was to be as close to the beach as possible. The entrance is pretty spectacular, a shop and a cafe on the ground floor.
There is a gym and an onsen (I couldn't go in as I am covered in tattoos - this is a normal rule in the onsen's. If you have tattoos and are not aware of this you should be travelling around Japan) There are multiple restaurant's on different floors. Hands down the best was the sky lounge on the 23rd floor amazing views and a selection of food either buffet style or an a la carte menu.
I need to come back to sample the other restaurants, staff were very helpful and the hotel was spotlessly clean. Amazing location not too far from the city and the peace museum, there is a taxi rank outside the hotel my trip this morning to the station was so easy, taxi door to door. If you go I urge you to walk around the island as well wonderful views with little sandy areas to sit and relax.

A nice but not great Ryoukan
This was a harder resort to measure, luggage drop off was awkward and the decor is not to the cleanliness id like
That said this ryoukan is on a small island so perhaps its to standard.
What i can say is the room was large enough and the facilities included free yukata rentals, ramen at night and the Onsen view was perfect.
Location wise you are an 8 minute walk to the Torii Shrine but its a small island so wherever you book you wont be far from it.
I think with a refresh of the decor this could go from good to great
But dont expect spotless levels of clean.

The hotel is near a train station which makes travelling convenient! The staff is also very friendly and can communicate in English. The room is spacious, although it doesn’t have much of a view but it’s not big of an issue for us. The reception is on the third floor and there’s a separate elevator to go up to the guest rooms. It was a comfortable stay

Guest UserThe room size was decent, not small by Japanese standards. The decor felt quite new. They even had Braille identification at the elevator, which was a nice touch. The hotel is right in the city center, making transportation very convenient. It's really close to the Peace Memorial Park and Atomic Bomb Museum, just a few minutes' walk. The area felt safe and quiet. My only minor gripe was that there was a front desk staff member on the first day, but I didn't see them on the subsequent two days. It seems like many hotels in Japan are moving towards self check-in now, which I'm still getting used to as I don't visit often.

Cameo19Modern and clean hotel, located close to the electric train (trams) Reception is located on the top floor (14) lots of nice accessories available plus lovely snacks and coffee/tea through out the day, highly appreciated. Room was lovely, clean, has small window, but not an issue. Breakfast was standard, and staff were polite. Shops and restaurants on road, easy to walk to memorial park, about 15 minutes, 3 stops from main train station, easy to navigate to Miyajimaguchi island. Wonderful two days.

Anonymous UserThe hotel was conveniently located right next to Hiroshima station, which is good for planning day trips. There is also a 7-11 and Lawson store right at the ground floor. The rooms were comfortably large for two people and the beds were comfortable. Overall, an excellent stay and highly recommended. A room for improvement would be to consider providing bigger/more pillows for the beds - one small pillow may not beto everyone’s liking. Also, I felt the reception staff were a bit stingy when they declined my request for more bottled water after finishing the ones in the room…

The interior has a classic feel. It looks a bit dated, but since I was only sleeping there, it didn't bother me.
The bathtub was spacious, and the distance to the toilet was good, so it didn't feel cramped. It was clean.
The staff were also very kind.
There's a convenience store nearby, and it's within walking distance of Hiroshima Station, but since there's a streetcar station nearby, I took the streetcar for just one stop.
