The landscape at Yuntai Mountain is strikingly unique, and its scenery changes with the seasons. Spring brings beautifully colored mountain flowers, and the summer paints the forest in deep green. Red leaves burst out like flames in the autumn, and in the winter all is coated in silvery white. House of the Huangcheng Chancellor (Huangcheng Xiangfu)

Highlights:
The “House of the Huangcheng Chancellor” was the official mansion of the famous Qing dynasty official Chen Tingjing, who was the chief editor of the Kangxi Dictionary (the standard Chinese dictionary of the 18th and 19th centuries) and tutor of Emperor Kangxi. The entire architectural complex is divided into an “inner city” and “outer city,” and the architectural style is similar to that of the Qiao Family Compound or Wang Family Compound in Shanxi; all are classic examples of the northern courtyard architecture of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1912). However, it is different in that as many as 38 members of the Chen clan who resided here were government officials. The complex also has a plaque inscribed and bestowed by the Kangxi Emperor himself, in honor of the complex and its owner.

taCommentInfo-imageBased on 1 review
Highlights:
Originally known as Kipishi Temple, it is located on the hillside of Kipishi Mountain in Zezhou County, 17 kilometers southeast of Jincheng City. Looking at Fushan Mountain in the east, the giant peaks are lined up in a row, and it is magnificent; looking at Jue Mountain in the south, the twin peaks are towering into the sky, beautiful and tall. The Danshui at the foot of the mountain is rippling, like a jade belt floating away from the northeast to the southwest; looking back at the peaks of the Kipstone, the cliffs and splendid shores seem to be cut by magic. Because the Sakyamuni in the temple sits on the lotus seat, it is named Qinglian Temple and is a national key cultural relic protection unit. The temple is divided into two ancient temples and new temples. The new temple was named "Fuyan Temple" in the third year of Taiping Xingguo in Song Dynasty (978), and it was called Qinglian Temple in Ming Dynasty.
