The hotel is not far away from the train station, which is a plus. However, there is no electrical kettle in the room. This is very inconvenient! We could not even get a loaner! My husband was quite dissatisfied with the shower water. When he reported to the receptionist, he was told that they were aware of the issue.

I went there for New Year's Eve. I recommend flying instead of taking the train. The train station is a boat ride away from the hotel, but the airport has the hotel's own shuttle boat service, which is much more convenient.

Overall, it was decent, though Venice itself felt a bit like a tourist trap where everything was overpriced. The hallways and rooms still had a lingering smell of renovation. Breakfast was quite unappetizing; I couldn't believe how bland the sausages and bacon were. The DIY waffles, however, were passable. An Italian staff member would constantly open our door to ask about cleaning. It was quite intrusive; I wish she had knocked instead of just letting herself in. As for the location, it's fairly convenient to various public transport stations and boat stops, though it's not right on the main island. Given the price point, it's probably what one would expect. On the positive side, free iced water and a gym were available, which was a nice bonus.
The room I booked can actually accommodate four people. His double room on the 5th floor is a duplex building, with two small beds in the downstairs hall, and the hotel includes breakfast. Even if breakfast is not included when placing the order, the hotel will Give breakfast, I don’t know why?
The staff at the hotel are so friendly and professional! We loved the the guy at check in, so friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the spa. The breakfast is decent I would say, basic things, cakes and pastry are so delicious, the juices are soso.
Although there is only a gas station across the hotel. But the location is still excellent. The bus stop to Venice and the airport is right outside the hotel. The bus takes 8 mins into Plazza di Roma. The hotel sells the bus tickets. And there are two buses and the timetable is very regular. We never had to wait more than 10 mins for a bus. So so convenient. The swimming pool also very good, not very busy. Breakfast was ok. Staff were extremely helpful with info, in particularly getting to venice and the airport.

One of the best choices of this trip was this hotel. From check-in to check-out, every detail truly embodied the meaning of ”comfort.” Firstly, the location is excellent, with convenient transportation and a full range of surrounding amenities. It's incredibly easy to go sightseeing, find food, or head to the station or airport. Secondly, the room was spacious and bright, the bedding was clean and soft, allowing for a natural, undisturbed sleep. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation and stable water pressure, providing a first-class shower experience.
I must also commend the service. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, and they thoughtfully prepared welcome fruits for us in advance. The breakfast was also very rich, a mix of Chinese and Western options, satisfying whether you prefer hot food or lighter fare. The most delightful surprise was the hotel's design style, which exuded taste and ingenuity everywhere, making it so charming that you wouldn't even want to use a filter on your photos!
In summary, whether for a leisure vacation or a business trip, this hotel is a highly recommended ”top performer.” The next time I visit this city, I will definitely choose to stay here again!

At this hotel, you are only 5 minutes walk from everything you need to see. The reception is welcoming, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was what you need. Easier to get to from the railway station and then you are right in the heart of the city. I would recommend this hotel.
I had been expecting a four-star better. Air conditioning not working, no chickens. Everything is okay. Good breakfast with fresh products.

GGuest UserThe hotel location is excellent. It’s just a 3-minute walk to the train and bus stations that go to Venice and the airport. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable and clean, and reception service was okay. But one thing really annoyed me: I don’t understand why a 4-star hotel doesn’t provide a kettle in the room. I drink tea, and there was only a coffee machine available. The reception told me to get hot water from the bar, which is fine, but the hot water looked dirty and didn’t seem clean. Also, the curtains never fully closed, there was always a gap, so it didn’t feel fully private.
AAnonymous UserVery good experience in this hotel. The very large and clean room. The staff very careful and have gluten-free food. Furthermore, it is very close to the Academia bridge that crosses the great channel. They also have a restaurant in the same hotel. I therefore recommend it 100%.

MMartin SnellingWe recently stayed here for 5 nights to take in the sights of Verona and surrounding cities. While I can't complain about the price, and for that, it was a bargain, there were a number of issues that resulted in a less than perfect rating.
The location: While it looks close to the main train station, it is about a 25 minute walk. However the 23/24/73 buses run regularly and pick-up / drop-off very close to the hotel
Lidl: next door to the hotel is a Lidl - it was a godsend and well worth visiting (if only for the fresh cheese focaccia).
The hotel itself was very clean but:
- The rooms have wooden floors and the walls aren't super-thick. So, when someone checks in to their room nearby, you can hear everything. At midnight, it isn't great when they're walking in heels across the floor.
- Lack of plug sockets - there was one usable plug in the room that is shared with the kettle, and one in the bathroom!
- Air conditioning (or severe lack of) - the rooms have air con, however, it wasn't switched on and I was told by reception that at this time of year (October) they don't have it switched on. The room temp was in the high 20s which led to us not actually sleeping under the covers - we spend 5 night sleeping on top of the bed as the room was just too hot. We couldn't sleep with the window open as their was too much noise from outside.
- The toilet flush was leaking 'hot water' - but this was repaired / replaced with a different toilet flush
- Staff: They were helpful when housekeeping has vacuumed up one of my wife's earrings, but didn't offer any assistance with regards to the heating in the room
KKa Ka BoyWe stayed three nights here. Hotel is conveniently located right next to the ferry station. Breakfast was good and has good variety. Probably the best hotel on the island until we received really bad service which lost all marks on our last morning of stay which I’ll elaborate later.
We had to catch the first flight and needed to have a quick breakfast before departure after our stay. Since we stayed there for three nights, we had breakfast and also dinned in their outlets throughout our stay, we were surprised the staff told us they don’t have our records on the last morning, we are not seated for breakfast and had to wait for them, it would be better if we get seated to allow hotel to sort it out since we have to leave for our flights. Unfortunately the staff also told us “they have hundreds of guest so it’s not possible to recognize us”. “There is no record”, and after waiting for over 10 min they came back and told us again “there is no record”. I asked to sort out the matter with the manager and they just told us we can walk over to the counter while there is a long queue of guests. Without cutting the line I waited at the lobby. After the staff at the counter also did not follow up about the situation after the queue was cleared or apologize for the rude attitude. We left the hotel after they ruined our experience at Venice. The entire good experience was lost due to lack of hospitality service. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here, and it is a disgrace of the Hyatt brand.
AAzuozvoGreat stay in Venice – highly recommended!
I had a very pleasant stay at Staycity Apartments Venice. The apartment was clean, modern, and very well equipped. The bed was comfortable, and everything felt well maintained.
The location is excellent – close to public transport and easy to reach both Venice island and the airport. Very convenient for business or leisure travel.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
Overall, great value for money. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Venice.
GGuest UserWe were a night we sleeped well, the room was spacious and we made a good breakfast. (ahead after our request). The only thing I can recommend is a cart where the hotel's parking is located. (In this period they are doing work) and it was hard to find.
If I have an opportunity, I will certainly return to that structure.
FFazly M.The room ia spacious for me so does thw bathroon. The location is perfect. Easy to find halal food, train is near and convinient. Hotel is nice deco and up to date
