I’ve stayed here dozens of times. This stay we had no heat in our room. At checkout I told the front desk he should have maintenance check our room heater. I had a picture of the thermostat and showed him the air temp in the room was a chilly 62 degrees. He responded by saying they had turned off the boilers yesterday because it was warm outside. I told him that was ridiculous and wondered why they were not turned on again for the night. When I told him we woke in the middle of the night and we were cold, he simply stated we should have called the front desk and they would have brought us a space heater. I told him that’s ridiculous and 62-63 degrees is unacceptable. He offered no other solution, apology, or a credit of any sort. This is very disappointing as most of my other stays here were just fine.

Very convenient and quiet, convenient transportation, walk to the main Mayo building 10-15 minutes. You can walk through skyway. The two restaurants that come with them are delicious and the service is good.
Reception not in ground floor lobby, but on second floor. ”Front door” not readily evident. Parking available according to Website, it is in adjacent parking ramp and a separate fee. Room spacious, well appointed with many electrical outlets, TV, telephone, couch, small but adequate closet. Bathroom, nicely lighted, very functional shower, toiletry amenities, good towels and cloths. Window view over parking ramp and city in distance.
Facility was quiet and comfortable. Had a good price. No issues.
Appeared building had recently been acquired by new Owners. Lawn sprinkler was broke and sprayed into the same spot in the ground all night. Elevator door frame appeared to have been painted with the skill of a 5 year old. I hope they continue to fix these minor details.
Except that the hotel facilities are a little old, everything else is perfect, especially the environment, which is next to a park in the city center and across the street from a shopping mall.
It was clean and comfortable
I was a little surprised that there were no bathroom slippers or toothpaste
I guess that's the case in most places in the US
Breakfast was paid, but it wasn't a buffet, so you could order a la carte and eat at various prices.
My daughter and I each ordered a bun like Bora and a Burger
and each ordered a drink, which cost $23
The tip was written separately on the receipt
Overall, I was satisfied
The photo below is the cafe next to the lobby on the first floor where we had breakfast.

HHeatherAbsolutely wonderful. I am super picky and my friends all stayed at other hotels in for a wedding. I was last minute and didn’t like what I had seen in the other hotels my friends were at so I walked down to check out this one and I was so happy I did! Love love love it. Clean and cozy and felt like an adults on the interior furnishings. Other hotels have cheap furniture and feel like dorm rooms. I was really have with this choice all the way around!!! I will definitely be back and can’t wait for their new spa to open!! Staff was great too and hotel was decorated lovely for Christmas! Great price also!
GGuest UserOn the morning of May 8, 2025, when I checked out of the Hampton Inn in downtown Minneapolis, I encountered an extremely disrespectful front desk employee. I politely asked if I could store my luggage, but the employee not only rolled his eyes and showed disdain, but also directly refused and laughed at me when I left. But I later saw him helping other guests store their luggage. As an international business traveler, this was my seventh visit to the United States and my third visit to Minnesota, and it was also the first time I personally experienced such open hostility.
After I formally complained, the hotel management responded to acknowledge the problem and record it in the employee file, and said that they would improve training and internal supervision. The hotel also promised to give me Hilton Honors points as compensation, but as of now, I have not received the points. Although the room fee cannot be refunded and I did not ask for a refund, I hope that this matter will be taken seriously to prevent other guests from being treated similarly.
I have always trusted the Hilton brand and hope that this store can truly live up to their promise of ”inclusion and respect”.
MMDonThe entrance to the parking lot is directly across the street from the Hyatt and the area can be hectic getting in or out.
I thought the overall room environment was clean and the mattress wasn't too depressed.
I look in the refrigerator and found a food tray on the very top shelf of the refrigerator.
Inside was some very old blueberry cheesecake. I toss it and then it began to smell.
I sat the trash basket into the hallway outside my door.
GGuest UserI had a very pleasant stay and found the rooms to be clean and well-maintained. I didn't encounter any major issues during my visit. One helpful tip for future guests: the water vending machines were frequently empty, but you can fill up a reusable bottle for free at the gym! My only reservation was the price point; between the $200+ room rate and the expensive dining options at the casino, the total cost felt a bit high for the overall experience.”
GGuest UserWe stayed at the ****** for a class reunion elsewhere in town.
Had never seen the ****** and was surprised at how large it was. Was very happy with everything. The lobby was large and impressive. We felt very secure with the
security. The room was very nice and clean. Before retirement I was a manager of housekeeping, and the room was nicely cleaned and supplied.
SSimon74Modern looking hotel, but they don’t even provide drinking water. Nothing in the room for refreshments at all. Kinda minimalist approach.
No food except two types of frozen pizza.
There is also a very loud aircon system that runs through the whole place, it felt like being on a ship and the noise was that loud at night I had trouble getting to sleep.
GGuest UserThe passage to the passenger terminal was closed after the epidemic, so in the end, I took a 20-minute bus from the passenger terminal to the hotel, a 5-minute drive. The hotel is a standard American business hotel, no work.
AAngela.AStylish stay in the heart of Minneapolis. Excellent location and beautiful rooms equipped with a Nespresso machine. Don’t miss the top-floor perks: the Prohibition bar on the 27th floor and the stunning observation deck on the 30th. The brunch at Manny’s Steakhouse is also a must. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserWe had a very nice room and the staff was friendly and professional. The hotel has a lot of character and charm. The attached lounge and restaurant was convenient and we enjoyed being able to have a drink there before ending the evening. Plan on staying there for all our adventures to the Minneapolis area!!!
