Golmud Hostels

This is one of the better quality options in Golmud (there aren’t many). The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the service was very poor - there were no functioning USB ports in the room and the hotel was unhelpful - seeming unwilling or unable able to offer a solution. The “room service” is actually takeaway food delivered from outside the hotel but no cutlery/chopsticks was provided with it. When we asked the hotel to provide some, it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive (longer than the food itself), by which time the food was getting cold. We had to ask repeatedly for sufficient drinking water, having only been provided two small bottles for two people. Aside from the poor service, the hotel is in an odd location, surrounding by closed shops and building sites - nowhere near the commercial centre of the city - with nothing within walking distance. With the right management, it could be an excellent hotel, but it’s not quite there at the moment.

It is the most expensive and best hotel in the area. The facilities are old, the sound insulation is quite poor, and the shower room actually smells like a toilet. Every year when I go to Lhasa, I will come to Golmud to stay for a few days. The hotel has just been renovated at the beginning of the year. The facilities are well-equipped and the rooms are equipped with tea sets. The environment is good. It is right in the city center. Friends have a couple of drinks, now the price is only more than 100 yuan, great value for money!

Nothing very special, normal hotel, breakfast was ok-ish, ok for a good rest. The hotel management was very understanding when we had to cancel one night due to some transportation issues.they were useful with info about the surroundings. We would stay there again if we come to Golmud.

The location of the hotel is very good, it is convenient to work, there is a parking lot, the waiter's attitude is very good, the hygiene is very clean, there is a buffet breakfast, the fruit plate and snacks are also great, and the room has a humidifier, which is very good.

The price is cheap, the interior is clean and hygienic, and the bathroom has no dry and wet partitions. Special praise to the security brother, very enthusiastic, thoughtful, and very good! The on-site boss said that it does not include breakfast, but the Internet includes breakfast. The boss did not shirk, and asked the security guard to take it to a breakfast shop in the morning, praise 👍!

The room was a good size and tastefully decorated. The house facing the road is a bit noisy at night, so we will change the room upon request. The service is super warm, with free water and breakfast, lunch and evening tea. There are fruit snacks, and when you arrive at the hotel restaurant at 11:30 in the evening, there are still mung bean soup, white fungus soup, and freshly cooked wonton soup noodles waiting for you. The lady in the restaurant has a very good attitude. After a tiring journey, returning to the hotel feels like home.

The location of the hotel is easy to find, parking is very convenient, and it has its own parking lot. The room is relatively large, clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the air-conditioning heating, and the room has a continuous diffuse oxygen supply device, which fully relieves the fatigue brought to our body from the Tibetan Plateau. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening, and the front desk clerk ordered us free noodles immediately after asking us. We were already very hungry and tired, and thought the noodles were refreshing and fragrant! I am embarrassed to patronize and eat and forget to take pictures. There are many varieties of breakfast, especially fruits, which are highly optional. The overall service attitude is very good, whether it is the front desk or the floor attendants are worthy of praise! Especially the help given by Lancuo and Baobao is commendable! Will choose this hotel next time I come to Golmud.
