Excellent service and a very clean, spacious room with comfortable bedding. The location is fantastic, right at the entrance of the ancient city. Popular spots like the century-old teahouse, Id Kah Mosque, Rainbow Alley, Buidai Alley, 'Grandpa's Grandpa's Father's Nang' (a famous naan shop), and Oil Painting Street are all just a stone's throw from Guilai Inn. There are plenty of local eateries downstairs, making dining very convenient. The owner is very welcoming, and the soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. The night views are beautiful and captivating. Plus, there are bus stops nearby for easy access to the airport and train station. It was a pleasant trip and I highly recommend it; you definitely won't regret staying at this inn.

We initially booked a room with windows, but upon arrival they told us there were only rooms without window left. So we did not had another choice than to take it. We negotiated with the owner and he gave us some discount.
The walls in the room were quite filthy with lots of stains on it and the bathroom was missing a door. When taking a shower, the whole floor was under water because the drains are probably clogged massively.
The owner and the receptionist were both very friendly though and the hotel is in a very good location right next to the metro station and shopping mall.

eleadreamsI was a bit nervous on my way to the hostel because there was traffic so I wasn't sure if I could get there before check-in closed. So I called them up and the lady on the phone spoke perfect english so it was very easy to communicate, and they were very accommodating of me being late. As soon as I arrived, another member of staff came to help with my bags, and the boss greeted me with friendly words. It was a really nice welcome to the hostel.
The cafe/lounge is nice. I found it quite social. The boss gave me free coffee too 😁 and they were really helpful in the hostel explaining how to get to scenic areas.
The dorm was well air-conditioned. I was given a lockable locker on request. The kitchen is small but has what you need. The bathrooms aren't equipped with soap or toiletries, but I believe you can buy what you need from the hostel. You can also buy detergent to do washing. Location is great, 30min walking distance from bus terminal, and close to liuxing Street area. Kind of an open air courtyard concept in the hostel, not sure what the experience would be like in Winter, but in Summer it was nice.

KepadebaimaoThe decoration is very novel
The boss is very nice. I went to Ta County for two days. I told the boss about my luggage and he helped me store it!
I met a sister from Nanning at the youth hostel and she was also very nice!
Kashgar I will come again
By the way, Ta County is worth a visit!
But don’t sign up for a tour group from Central Asia! I didn’t go to many scenic spots, and when I arrived at the scenic spot, I was asked to come back in 5 minutes, come back in 10 minutes, and give me a maximum of 40 minutes of play time (black man’s question mark face). Then the weather was 38 or 9 degrees, and the driver drove with the windows open! (crying face)

Even though I only stayed for one night, the value for money was truly excellent. The location is right inside the Kazanqi scenic area, so it's easy to find by taxi. The front desk lady was very kind and enthusiastic, and even helped me with my luggage. The room was clean, and the comforter and pillows felt brand new. The courtyard is huge and absolutely beautiful. That night, I even joined a mahjong game with some other guests – it was so much fun! I hope to stay longer next time.

Guest UserCame to Kashgar with friends on motorcycles and stayed at 'Guren Gui' – best decision ever! The landlady is an amazing cook, and you can join in for shared meals. Parking is super easy right outside the courtyard. Plus, there are mulberries and figs you can pick freely.
There were also a lot of foreigners here, and chatting with them was really fun. The hostel common area is huge and super comfy on the first floor, not hot at all, and you can even sing and dance together.

Guest UserA pleasant surprise! The hostel is a restored rammed-earth building with super modern dorms surrounding a simple courtyard. Great combo of comfort and character. Not much English but they deal well with foreigners and I also found the Chinese guests here to be particularly welcoming and fun.
Kuqa Town also exceeded my expectations, it is very pleasant and interesting to wander around. The best areas are across the river, especially the main drag which has plenty going on and great food.

Guest UserI wholeheartedly give Tiancheng International Youth Hostel a full five stars! Every corner of the place is spotless, and it's completely smoke-free with no unpleasant odors, making for a really comfortable stay. The front desk lady, though a little clumsy, was incredibly kind and patient, whether I was asking for directions or borrowing something. The lobby has a pool table for entertainment; last night, a group of travelers gathered to watch the World Cup, which was lively and heartwarming. The hostel also organizes Uyghur language lessons and dance activities. I met so many friends from different countries here; we danced and chatted together, and later even planned a trip to Yili. The travel atmosphere here is truly rare and wonderful – it's the perfect place to stay when you're in Urumqi!

ShangdiyichongzhenhuangdiThe courtyard has a very Xinjiang vibe, and the owner is super laid-back. The room is quite spacious, and the bathroom is inside, which is great. Hot water for showers is instant – no waiting! They even provide body wash and shampoo, which is convenient. The washing machine and kitchen aren't available for guest use. There's no bus stop nearby, so you'll need to take a taxi everywhere, which can make transportation a bit more expensive.

Very reliable and secure compound. Situated on the 9th and 10th floors of the Super 8 hotel, this hostel is quite quiet and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and the interior was frequently patrolled by security. The only notable factor for prospective tourists was that the. domestic guests in the male room were quite rough. A lot of inside smoking and loudness.
