Hot Springs Hotels in Jilin, China

Traveling as a family of four, we booked the Little Yellow Duck family room. It was incredibly spacious, with a large bed and a bunk bed, which my two sons absolutely loved! The hotel arranged a convenient pick-up and drop-off service from the high-speed rail station. The staff even kindly provided my elder son with a hot spring ticket and breakfast voucher, which we really appreciated! The hot springs were wonderful, with both indoor and outdoor pools. Another major perk is the hotel's VIP access, allowing early entry to Changbai Mountain. A shuttle departs from the hotel entrance at 7:30 AM to the North Gate of Changbai Mountain, giving us a 30-minute head start before it officially opens. This meant we could take the shuttle up to the main peak almost without queuing, and it wasn't crowded when we arrived. This was a truly fantastic and valuable experience!

Its basically a spa, getting in and out of the spa is very troublesome as they keep your shoe as hostage and you are required to queue to check for payment every time you need to leave the hotel which is extremely time consuming. not suitable for family holiday hotel. Alot of additional charges especially for kids using the sauna.

We stayed in the family deluxe room, the 'Dinosaur Water World Stone Age' themed room. The room design was quite unique and my child loved it, but the cleanliness was subpar. The floor felt sandy when you walked on it, and there was a constant layer of white dust on my phone screen and the wall light switches, which appeared every time we moved even slightly. I'm not sure what it was. There must have been a lot of dust mites on the bed. My child's legs were itchy and had small bites, and since it's not summer, it couldn't have been mosquitoes – it had to be dust mites. I felt itchy all over too while sleeping. It seemed like the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, just superficially tidied up, without proper wiping. Perhaps it's because the room is large and has two floors, but in terms of hygiene, I felt the value for money wasn't good. We just stayed for two days for the child's happiness. The hot springs and water park were nice, but the water in the water park was too cold. Initially, we weren't allowed to bring towels from the hot springs area, nor could we wear slippers. The water park didn't provide towels or slippers either. My child's lips turned purple from the cold. Kids don't mind when they want to play, but it was really cold for adults, and we worried about the child getting sick. Also, walking without slippers was very slippery, and I was afraid the child would fall. Later, we saw people wearing slippers, so I went to the front desk to ask where we could get some. The front desk said that management had just changed the rule, and now we could bring towels and wear slippers. Then, there was a sushi stand nearby. I asked if it was chargeable (intending to ask if it required cash or room key payment), and they said yes, it was chargeable. Immediately after, I overheard a male and female hotel staff member laughing, as if implying, 'Do you expect it for free if it's not chargeable?'

The environment is fantastic, very clean, and well-equipped. The hot spring experience was also incredibly relaxing. Breakfast offered a great variety, but what truly stood out was the service. Right after check-in, a butler was assigned to us, ready to answer any questions and provide helpful reminders. There was even a dedicated shuttle service for the hot springs. Any issues we encountered were promptly resolved by the staff – their service-mindedness was truly impressive! The hotel's exclusive access to Changbai Mountain was very convenient. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I'll definitely be back!

Due to a change in our itinerary, we booked a hotel on short notice. Upon check-in, we found it far exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and tidy, the service staff was very professional, and a heartwarming incident occurred. After checking out, I was over 100 kilometers away from the hotel when I realized I had left my wallet in the room. After contacting the hotel, the staff immediately helped me find my wallet. Because cash can't be delivered by express, the waiter put the money in my card and transferred it to me via WeChat. They were very patient throughout the process, and the problem was quickly resolved. It's inevitable that there will be omissions when you're away from home, but it's very touching to meet such people! A big thumbs up to the hotel staff 👍🏻

Here’This resort hotel was the most satisfying stay of our entire 8-day China trip across Harbin, Changbaishan, Xuexiang, and Yabuli. We stayed in a family residence unit, which allowed all of us to live together comfortably under one household. The resort is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our unit even included a mahjong table and a private hot spring, which made the stay very enjoyable. Although the price is not cheap, it is definitely worth the money. The butler service was excellent — the staff were attentive and always did their best to accommodate our requests. Highly recommended. I’m confident you will have a pleasant and memorable stay here.

The overall environment is serene and elegant, with a lush garden-style layout, fresh and peaceful air, completely removed from the city's hustle and bustle. It truly sets a wonderful mood. The various hot spring pools are clean and well-maintained, offering a rich variety, and the water is wonderfully warm and comfortable – soaking in them was incredibly relaxing and stress-relieving. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, making for a great living experience. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly polite. Check-in was efficient and quick, and their attitude throughout was gentle and friendly. Any requests were promptly attended to, and they even thoughtfully brought drinks and towels – their attention to detail was excellent. The facilities are comprehensive, transportation is convenient, and eating, staying, and sightseeing were all very pleasant. It offers incredible value for money. We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday and will definitely choose this place again for our next getaway!

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the North Scenic Area gate, making it an easy walk to the entrance. This was incredibly convenient for visiting the mountain, and we also got to use the scenic area's VIP green channel, saving a lot of time queuing – a real stress-reducer for our travels. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with soft, skin-friendly bedding. Opening the window, we had a beautiful view of the forest and mountains. The entire room had ample heating, making our stay in the cold Changbai Mountain exceptionally warm and comfortable. The hotel's biggest highlight is its direct access to the natural volcanic hot spring from Julongquan. There are over thirty indoor and outdoor pools that you can enjoy unlimited times. Soaking in the outdoor hot springs on a snowy day, with the contrast of ice and fire, melted away all our travel fatigue. The front desk and cleaning staff were warm, thoughtful, and efficient with check-in. The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options. The overall environment, surrounded by a pristine forest, is tranquil and elegant. It's perfectly suited for both family trips and leisure vacations. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Changbai Mountain.

The overall environment of the resort is pretty good; it would probably be even better in the summer. The service is exceptional, with everyone paying great attention to detail. However, as a mom looking for a weekend getaway with my child, I found the activities to be just so-so. The snow activities themselves are free, so any amount of fun is a bonus. The hot springs, though, were really disappointing. There are only a few indoor pools, no high-temperature areas, and more importantly, they didn't feel like actual hot springs! 😦 The outdoor iron pot was impossible to use due to too much debris. From a value-for-money perspective, it's not the best choice for a weekend trip. And the kids' play area... sigh.

We stayed in the family suite, which is perfectly designed for a family trip, especially with two kids. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room. The hot springs are right downstairs, which is super convenient for guests. Breakfast, however, was a major drawback. Forget about the variety, the breakfast hours were only from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. None of the other hotels in the resort have such late hours. We had booked a rafting trip and could only manage to get on the earliest 6 AM slot, and I was constantly worried about not making it back in time for breakfast. Luckily, we just caught the tail end of it. To make matters worse, despite the room being nice, the showerheads had issues. I'm not sure if it's the water pressure or the design, but to get hot water, the stream would become incredibly tiny, even smaller than the faucet. If you tried to open it up a bit more, it would turn cold. Both shower rooms were like this. I put up with it for the first two days by showering at the hot springs downstairs. On the last day, I finally brought it up to the hotel, and they sent a fruit platter as compensation. But honestly, the quality of the hotel's fruit was really disappointing.
