This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! From the lobby and guest rooms to the views and facilities, the value for money is simply impeccable! Since I was traveling solo and had no language barriers, I used a combination of public transportation and hiking through farmland and up mountains. It was quite a journey, but the scenery along the way, especially the sudden appearance of the sea at the end, was incredibly refreshing! The hotel actually provides a free shuttle bus to and from the hotel. For pick-up, you need to contact them in advance (I didn't have experience with this). For drop-off/drop-off, you just need to book the night before. Why bother with public transportation?

An excellent hot spring hotel tucked away in a quiet village. Don’t let its secluded location mislead you though; access to the area is convenient and easy, whether you’re coming from western or eastern Japan. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The room was a lovely, traditional Japanese-style room with an excellent view of the adjacent stream and small valley. Perhaps most importantly, the hot springs themselves are just wonderful. The quality of the water is excellent and the tubs are comfortable and offer lovely views over the valley. Perhaps my favourite moment was soaking in the outdoor baths after dinner, under the gentle glow of the hanging lanterns, with the sound of the bubbling river below. Perfect! Would 100% stay again.

One of my best capsule hotel that I have ever stayed. The whole building is catered to Male occupants, 2 sauna levels, free rice, free alcohol and locker is big enough to fit large items. Location is great, opposite ichiran. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Good points ♦︎The large communal bath is good. The bath is open until 10am the next day. The sauna is open until 1am. ♦︎Coffee, night ramen, etc. are free. ♦︎The rooms are clean. ♦︎The supermarket Yonesuke, which is a 5-minute walk away, has great products. I was able to buy live kuruma shrimp and live filefish sashimi. They prepared the live ones for me. The selection of products is similar to Seijo Ishii. ♦︎The tram from Toyohashi is 200 yen and arrives at Futagi Station, right in front of the hotel. It's convenient because there is one every 10 minutes. Negative points ♦︎It's not within walking distance from Toyohashi Station. It takes 15 to 20 minutes. ♦︎The facilities are great, but the staff refuses to make any requests beyond the paper manual. Example 1: I ran out of sashimi soy sauce, so I brought a paper plate and asked them to give me a little, but they refused. They only gave me a little from the restaurant right next door. I don't understand why they can't do this. It would be enough to just smile and say ”this is the only time” and let the customer in quietly. They lack the willingness to accommodate customers if possible, and they lack the personal ability to adapt to situations.

I feel like this is an underrated hotel. (But it may only be more convenient for those traveling by car. There seems to be no public transportation around.) This beach is amazing. You can walk 200 meters away and the water is only up to your knees. The water is clear and the waves are flat, which is very suitable for water wrestling [laughing] ] The hotel also thoughtfully prepares parasols and beach shoes for guests. It is only 50 meters away from the hotel to the beach [smile] The hot spring is a unique carbonate spring with salty water.

Located right next to the Ure River, with a nice view from the room. As it has only 5-6 rooms, it is pretty exclusive. You can use their 2 hotspring baths privately for 45mins each time, or you can take a short walk over to their 2 sister hotels for bigger hotspring baths. This is the only hotel in the Hazu Group that serves Medicinal Cuisine. As the hotel seems to be converted from a traditional old house, the stairways can be cramped and not suitable for bringing large suitcases, so just pack a small bag and leave the suitcase downstairs or in the car. Had a relaxing time there.

Hiranoya in Gamagori was really great! They upgraded our room because we had children! Breakfast and dinner were buffet-style! We added dinner the day before, so I assumed it wouldn't be a buffet, lol. I should have asked what the menu was, lol. The bath was also very comfortable, and we were able to relax even with our children. I highly recommend the cave bath (^^) ”Time Letter,” still at Atelier of Words, is an experience where you send a letter to your future self! It's a rare experience, and I'm looking forward to it reaching my future self just when I've forgotten about it!! The staff were also very kind, and it was an inn I'd love to return to. Thank you so much!

My stay at the Ryugu Hotel was truly wonderful! First, the hotel's location is exceptional. The open-air hot spring offers breathtaking views of the ocean, from the morning glow to the evening sunset. Soaking in the hot spring while gazing at the ocean is truly an extraordinary experience. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a modern Japanese décor that evoked a sense of tranquility and relaxation. With the ocean view just outside the window, staying in the room felt like being in paradise, leaving you wanting to leave. Dinner was a traditional kaiseki ryori, each dish meticulously crafted with abundant local ingredients. It was both delicious and visually pleasing. The sashimi and grilled items were particularly impressive and satisfying. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, and from check-in to check-out, their attentive service was truly heartwarming. Their attentive hospitality was truly touching. This is a hot spring hotel I'll definitely return to, and I highly recommend it to friends and family!

The room was relatively clean, and there was a welcome drink at the hotel entrance, which was available anytime during business hours. The air conditioning in the room was a little weak, so we used the electric fans on each floor. There was also a kettle in front of the elevator on each floor. The price was also reasonable, so it was great.

FFrequentFlyer123The hotel is nestled by a mountain and a river, and it's just a 5-minute walk to Inuyama Castle. The Inuyama Castle Town has many snack shops, which is super convenient. The rooms are very comfortable, and the hot springs and breakfast are definitely the highlights of this hotel. Highly recommend!

MMavis Yu Ling ChiuOur family had an absolutely delightful stay at Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. We did encounter a slight hiccup during check-in, as the hotel requested us to email our Trip.com check-in voucher for confirmation/arrangement, which caused a minor delay. However, this was quickly resolved, and it didn't detract from our overall experience. A highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the complimentary nightly ramen, which quickly became a cherished ritual for us. The delicious, comforting bowls were the perfect end to our busy days exploring Nagoya. Even more remarkable was the hotel's fantastic onsen. After long hours of sightseeing and walking, immersing ourselves in the soothing hot springs was pure bliss. It truly melted away all our travel fatigue, leaving us refreshed and rejuvenated for the next day's adventures. The combination of superb amenities and thoughtful touches made our stay incredibly memorable. We highly recommend Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae for families seeking comfort, relaxation, and a taste of authentic Japanese hospitality.

GGuest UserI checked into this hotel when I went to Legoland. It was cheap, so I didn't have high expectations, but I was very satisfied with it. I stayed with my family, and the room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was also delicious. The hot spring water was also great, so I enjoyed my morning bath. The hotel also has a wide range of amenities, so I would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserIf you look for a nice quiet place for a relaxing stay, this is a superb ryokan in the area that I would recommend. The ryokan building is beautifully decorated, despite its age. I particularly appreciate the sincere service from the manager and hosts. You can rely on them to take care of your stay. They could also provide pick-up and drop-off service at Utsumi Station. Dinner and breakfast were well-prepared with natural ingredients. Not only are they delicious but also presented nicely. The lobby also provides complimentary drinks and snacks - you can enjoy a little footbath there with a glass of whiskey and some nuts. Of course you cannot miss the marvellous scenery of the beach. The only downside is the public onsen bath was a little small. But in general we loved the stay.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at a wonderful hotel and had a truly pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, modern, and very well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities including a soft bed, clean bathroom, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The location was also perfect – close to many attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it very convenient to explore the area. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

SShikudeweixiaoThe hotel is impeccable, especially the hot spring on the first floor is very large and very good. Opposite the hotel is the largest park in Donghai, which is also very nice to visit, with beautiful cherry blossoms. There is a large 24-hour supermarket next to it, and there is also a drugstore. However, it costs 200rmb to take a taxi from the subway to here, and the bus is not convenient. The hotel has a free bus to the subway station, but the time is limited.

GGuest UserThe facility is suitable for the years, but the building is large and large. It is far from the parking lot and there is a difficulty. There are minimal accessories in the room, so there is no problem. The food was deliciously cooked and I was satisfied.
