The hotel's restaurant is delicious, the spa is also very good, it is worth experiencing, there are fewer people on the beach, there are not many snorkelers, the water is very clear, but there are many plants and mosquitoes. If you eat in that restaurant, you will be bitten by insects all the time. Overall, from the airport pick-up to the airport drop-off, every waiter in the hotel is smiling, very kind and friendly. I like it here very much. I think you should not stay in Rarotonga when you come to the Cook Islands, you should spend more time here

The airport pickup was unfortunately very disappointing. We had given them our flight number and arrival time at least twice beforehand (it was the first flight, arriving at 6:50 am), and no one was there. A nice taxi driver then called the hotel, and someone was supposed to come. Someone did arrive, but it wasn't clear which hotel they belonged to. He looked around briefly and left again without speaking to the two couples waiting (us and two other people). I then called again, they laughed briefly, hung up, and then the same man came back and spoke to us. He even said he'd been informed that we were arriving at 9 am... The welcome at the hotel was great; we were even allowed to have breakfast, even though check-in wasn't until later. The bungalow was also great. The bicycles could use a bit of a tune-up (the gears didn't work, there was no kickstand, the basket was wobbly...). But it's still great that bicycles, canoes, and SUPs are provided. There's something going on every day that you can participate in (mostly for free). The staff are also really friendly; they address you by name. The location is absolutely beautiful, the beach is gorgeous, the snorkeling was okay, and the moray eel at the ferry dock is amazing. One suggestion for improvement: add a blackout blind to the room by the outdoor shower so it doesn't get so bright so quickly.

Stayed at Qiongya Beach Hotel on Etutaki Island for two nights. There was an airport shuttle service and a wreath. I went to the hotel at 11 o'clock and drank a welcome drink. After listening to the hotel introduction, I could stay directly. This was great. Although the garden bungalow can't directly see the sea view, the room is large and it is good to sit in the porch and see the scenery. The beach is beautiful, there are countless coral cockroaches, which can be taken away but confiscated by New Zealand customs. Breakfast is average, dinner is not bad, 50 knives per capita. The disadvantage is that the facilities in the room are old, the door cannot be locked, and it takes a long time to work hard. The hotel staff came to check and waited for a long time. They also said that we broke it. It doesn’t matter if the hotel is safe and not locked. Later, we finally changed the room. This room is also a little faulty, too lazy to communicate with them, the shower shower is not very easy to use, the water is not big enough.

Visitors get a sense of being in a tropical environment, surrounded by gardens and trees. Our small property is very different from a resort hotel, and is popular with professional people who wish to experience a private quiet holiday. Past visitors include many doctors, and university based academics. Each lodge is stand alone and provides the privacy that many people seek. We have very affordable rates so we provide good quality accommodation at great value for money. Families also enjoy our property, as a lodge can accommodate mother, father and three children. Thomas and their team were very welcoming and they managed to make our stay special. The lagoon tour they booked for us with Teking was very good, and the car they booked for us was also very convenient. Breakfasts were varied and quite complete. The villa is very nicely set, very comfortable and the beach is quite private since few people go by walking. The kayaks are a plus to explore the lagoon in high tide. The dinner we had at the small Cafe of the owners in the property was very good. We recommend you to try it (but they open just a couple of days per week). We also recommend you to try Avatea Cafe in the middle of the island, and their wonderful fish tacos. And we had lunch once at Pacific Resort and it was very good. The food truck with burgers and fish & chips just in front of the villas is quite good as well. We had an amazing time at Aitutaki, as it is a very special island.
