cleanliness deffinitely need improvement. toilet at shower area full of hairs on the floor. shelf to put soap etc has soap stain likes havent been cleaning for ages. coffee area dusty pleasela vacum room tu..it looks like hairs and dusty. wipe off the dust on the cabinet. the bedsheet smeells like not fresh. we were wondering either it has not been changed or what so ever. definitely need to train ur cleaners for standard of 4* hotels.

Well service standard excellent I'm very happy.. With the check in process very quick.. The room was nice and cozy, the bed was so comfortable even the shower was great.. With very good & strong water pressure.. Very pleased with almost everything except for the breakfast a little bit disappointed & most of the food serve not much verity & strangely cold with most of the food warmer not working or switch off.. We had a wonderful stay at Star City Hotel for Hari Raya! As always, we look forward to staying here whenever we visit our hometown. The hotel is comfortable, convenient, and the staff are friendly. This time, our studio was very close to the air-conditioning compressor, which was quite loud – as a light sleeper, it made sleeping a bit difficult. We did request a room change, but due to the busy Raya period, no rooms were available, which we completely understand. Overall, still a great experience and we will definitely return!

The bedding didn't seem fresh, so we asked for the sheets and pillowcases to be changed, and they did it. There's a pool at the hotel, but it was full of kids (maybe a sports group), all wearing swim caps. We decided not to swim with them.

A front desk staff member should be able to understand the customer’s needs and follow clear instructions. On that day, I had three bookings. I specifically informed the staff to prioritize my first VIP guest, who is elderly and required immediate access to the room. However, the staff chose to process all the bookings slowly one by one instead of following the instruction given. As a result, my elderly guest had to wait unnecessarily for a long time. In addition, when I entered my own room, I found that the toilet was not properly cleaned and there was hair inside. This was quite disappointing and does not reflect the expected standard of cleanliness. I hope the management can look into this matter and improve the service and housekeeping standards.

Good location behind the large shipping mall Aman Central and Alor Setar Tower The check in was smooth even very late at night. BB Motel is colocated with Bee Gladden Hotel. You check in at Bee Garden. BB Motel is a wing consisting of rooms with shared toilet. The room was basic. A/C works ok. Wifi signal was weak inside my room. The traffic noise was not so bad after the shipping mall was closed. Overall, I recommend this place.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Alor Setar. I used to work here for two years and know some of the other options. For families, this is definitively the best place: The kids loved the infinity pool and the playground on the rooftop. While the kids were playing, we could relax and enjoy the sunset - at roughly the same height as Alor Setar Tower! That alone makes it worth to stay there :). The apartment is big, with four beds, a washing machine and a huge TV. But contrary to other apartments, this one also has a reception that is really helpful. We will definitively stay here again next time!

Need to climb a rather steep staircase to get to the room. Not suitable for the elderly. Had to park far from the hotel because that night there was a group at the cafe next door. Check in/out is quite fast.

Hotel is nice & still well maintained. It’s located right next to the airport so you could see the aeroplane flying in/out from our room window. Parking is outdoor & free. The morning breakfast buffet had quite a selection of food too. The room is very spacious! Equipped with a large screen smart TV so you can still enjoy your netflix/youtube.

MYAnonymous Usercleanliness deffinitely need improvement. toilet at shower area full of hairs on the floor. shelf to put soap etc has soap stain likes havent been cleaning for ages. coffee area dusty pleasela vacum room tu..it looks like hairs and dusty. wipe off the dust on the cabinet. the bedsheet smeells like not fresh. we were wondering either it has not been changed or what so ever. definitely need to train ur cleaners for standard of 4* hotels.
