A very cost-effective living option. We brought two babies and booked a 90-square-meter two-bedroom, one-living room apartment. The floor-to-ceiling windows are basically full of sea views, and the balcony is also full of sea views. It is very convenient to walk to the beach. It is suitable for families with children, friends gatherings, client receptions, etc. They are all independent houses with good privacy. The most important thing is that the price of 340 New Zealand dollars also includes breakfast for our family of four. The breakfast is also good and worth experiencing. It is very convenient to drive to Auckland in an hour. Suggestion: If the kitchen can be equipped with more pots and stoves, it will be more suitable for staying for a few days.

I travel almost every month. This hotel is definitely the best value for money around. Very pleasant surprise. In terms of location, the hotel is five or six hundred meters away from the skycity. It is closer to Queen Street and Victoria Street. The Asian supermarket opposite the hotel is very convenient. The hotel location is good so it is quiet In terms of facilities, the electrical appliances of this hotel are better than five-star hotels. I am so surprised that I often travel on business, so I have stayed in many five-star hotels. The household things are very high-end. Panasonic TV LG refrigerator is Australian brand Westinghouse appliances and furniture are very new and very new What brand of oven I forgot is also a very good brand The toiletries and tea bags and coffee in the room are complete, even the tea cups are Australian brand maxwell and williams The bone china is very good texture than the things used by five-star hotels. The kitchen has an induction cooker, a range hood, a kettle, etc. The sofa in the room is also very spacious. In terms of service, the hotel owner and front desk are very nice. The staff can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin. There is a free upgrade. Amazing. There is a lock up garage. The garage is safe and convenient. The room has free mineral water and tea bags. Discounts on taxis In terms of value for money, the room is quite good. The surrounding hotels have no air conditioning, no kitchen, no appliances, and the old rooms are more expensive than here. This is really the king of cost performance. Real name Amway

There are three toilets and toilets shared, so it doesn't seem crowded. The boss is very nice. He is generally 3-6PM, we are a little late, he is waiting for us. In fact, it doesn't matter if the boss is not there. He has messages and instructions on the whiteboard, and the key is inserted on the door. Great to stay if you are connecting flights or have to stay at the airport. A bit of a walk from domestic terminal but there are shuttles. Room was clean. Shampoo and soap smelt nice. I couldnt really figure out the lights between the bed and the shower as there is a sliding frosted glass door that separates the two. But all the lights turned off which is what was important. Not much of a view, only if you love construction and the layout of an airport. Over it was a great place to relax after lots of traveling.

After arriving in Auckland on the last flight from Queenstown, the airport transfer to the hotel took less than 10 minutes, which was super convenient for an overnight layover. You can check in at the front desk or use one of the two self-service kiosks. I booked a standard room through a third-party platform for only 500, which was great value for money. The only downside was that the walk to the room was quite long. The balcony door in the ground-floor room opened onto a small lawn, offering a bit of a view. The room size was adequate, and the bedding was fairly comfortable. Overall, it was a good experience, and there's a direct bus to the airport not far from the hotel.

Functional and souless, but a good location for Queenstown with plenty of car parking. The customer service was poor by the usually warm standard of NZ. This is an older hotel, and while the facilities are a bit dated, the environment is very pleasant. Our window directly overlooked Albert Park, and what's great is that the window could be opened slightly, which made for excellent ventilation. The hotel breakfast was also good. Unfortunately, because I wasn't sure if the stay would be comfortable, I only booked 2 nights initially. When I tried to book a third night, the hotel was fully booked, so I had to switch to a different hotel. I requested a late check-out, and that was quickly arranged.

Pros: 1. **Prime Location**: Perfectly situated within walking distance to Britomart train station, Commercial Bay shopping center, and Viaduct Harbour. Sky Tower and the ferry terminal are also very close, and it’s convenient for both public transport and taxis, making it ideal for both sightseeing and business commutes. 2. **Comfortable Rooms**: Rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable bedding. Equipped with smart TVs and Manuka honey toiletries. Sea view rooms offer stunning views of Waitematā Harbour. Free WiFi and a daily 'chocolate hour' are standout features. 3. **Dining Experience**: Custom Lane café is highly praised for its coffee and pastries. The rooftop BODA restaurant serves Korean fusion cuisine with panoramic city/harbour views. The chocolate buffet is a popular highlight. 4. **Service & Facilities**: Most guests commend the friendly and efficient 24-hour front desk service. There's a well-equipped gym and meeting facilities. Some room types offer accessible accommodation. Cons: 1. **Parking Issues**: Street parking is scarce, and valet parking is quite expensive. Lower-floor rooms can be affected by street noise from traffic. 2. **Peak Hour Waits**: Occasional queues for breakfast and check-in during busy periods. Some guests reported unstable internet when the hotel is crowded. 3. **Mid-to-High Price Range**: Room rates noticeably increase during peak season or exhibition periods.

The room was a bit small, but the bed was quite comfortable, and the view outside the window was nice, with the Sky Tower visible. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center, just a five-minute walk to Queen Street. There's a 'green supermarket' nearby, and next to it, a Kiwi souvenir shop has the cheapest items. The chocolate prices in the supermarket were also reasonable. Breakfast was plentiful and complete, and the service was good. It's a pretty standard star-rated hotel. Apart from the small room and weak shower pressure, everything else was quite satisfactory. Parking was on the 7th floor or above of the adjacent parking garage, costing $15 per day on weekends and $30 per day on weekdays. You pay for parking before leaving the hotel.

AUM. So
A clean and spacious hotel located in the CBD. It's footsteps away from Skycity and within walking distance to Queen St and many restaurants, bars and conscience stores. The room was quite big with a comfortable bed and choices to pick different types of pillows. There was also in-room ironing board and the Wifi signals were strong. Would have been even better if there were better views of the city. Staff were professional and attentive, especially during late nights - as sometimes the access cards didn't allow you into the hotel, and you needed to use the intercom. Highly recommend and will be back in the future.

XXAnonymous UserOne of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The concierge desk was super helpful, you can basically ask them anything. Needed an umbrella, directions to the nearest post office, and even tape, and the staff were always quick to help (they even delivered items to our room). Service was excellent and very attentive. Location is great too, close to the city center, so getting around was easy. There’s also a casino upstairs. Only small downside was that we got confused with another SkyCity property and accidentally went to the wrong one at first. Parking was also a bit tricky to find.

After getting off the airport shuttle, it's about a 7-8 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel's location is very central, close to Queen Street, Britomart, and the harbor. There's a supermarket right across the street and a Chemist Warehouse nearby, which is convenient for buying fish oil and souvenirs. However, nights in the CBD can be quite dangerous; even close to midnight, I heard drunk people and homeless individuals arguing. The complimentary breakfast at the hotel is decent, nothing to complain about. The staff were also good; check-out in New Zealand is usually at 10 AM, but the front desk granted a late check-out until 12 PM, so I got to enjoy a nice lie-in after breakfast. As for hygiene, the only thing to mention is that some small details could be improved. When I checked in, there were dirty water stains on the sink, hair on the bath towel, and the air conditioning filter indicated it needed changing.

Super location within walking distance to heaps of restaurants, local attractions and Queen Ferry Terminal. Jo&Joe is a funky/modern hostel, very cleaned, comfortable bed. Staffs were great and friendly. Checked-in and checked-out were quick and easy.

The hotel's location is great for city walks, and it's not far from the Sky Tower. The room itself isn't very spacious, but the bed is large and comfortable. The bathroom, however, is quite roomy and comes with body lotion, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and a disposable shower cap (outside of China, disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers are rarely provided). The water pressure is excellent, making for a pleasant hair wash and shower experience. While the breakfast selection isn't extensive, it's still pretty good. There are no complimentary bottled water in the room, but filtered water is available in the hallway. The hotel's parking lot is quite small.

Excellent, it exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location was great, and the room was spacious and clean, which I really appreciated. We didn't end up using the cooking facilities. Both the bedroom and living room had enclosed windows where you could look outside. The breakfast was decent; it had everything you needed to feel full and nourished each day. The male night receptionist at the front desk was particularly good – he always greeted us warmly. There was also a female staff member we occasionally saw who was very nice. The only minor issue was one female Indian receptionist on our check-in day who was a bit bland and not very polite or friendly. But it's fine, I just stayed polite myself! We got our room smoothly and were even able to check in early. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again next time I'm in Auckland.

All the staff were very polite and willing to help, and the room environment was quite good. Unfortunately, during our three-night stay, the air conditioning in both rooms did not function properly, which significantly affected the overall accommodation experience.

I stayed 2 nights at the Kiwi International Hotel right after arriving in Auckland. One of the big highlights of this hotel is its very central location, making it easy to reach the city's main points of interest. It's an excellent option to kick off a stay in Auckland. I also really appreciated the cleanliness of the premises and the kindness of the staff, who were always welcoming and helpful. The entire hotel is well-maintained and offers great value for money, especially considering its location. The only real downside concerns the internet connection. As a digital nomad, I need a stable connection to work, and unfortunately, the hotel's Wi-Fi was very difficult to use. It was impossible for me to work properly with it. Luckily, I had bought a local SIM card at the airport with enough data, which allowed me to use my phone as a hotspot and continue working. 👉 In summary: a clean, central hotel with wonderful staff, but one that would truly benefit from improving the quality of its internet connection, especially for remote-working travelers. 🙏✨
