Set in a beautiful location this Victorian building is coming up for 150 years old. It was full of charm and in a stunning place. Bracebridge is a fabulous town to stay in and the hotel is just a short distance from the town. The room we stayed at was in the annexe overlooking the river and gardens. It was a beautiful view. The large room itself was a tad tired and in need of an upgrade and refurbishment. However, the bed was comfortable, the aircon worked well and the shower was fine. Breakfast was included and was very good. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't have a bar but did have a comfortable common room to relax in. On the negative side was the Italian restaurant - Basilica. Quite frankly the food and service by a brisk, curt and unhappy server was awful. She was desperate to just get us out of the restaurant as quick as possible. My pasta dishes was terrible.

We booked a night here and we were pleasantly surprised how nice the rooms are. The lady behind the desk was very nice and welcoming. The hotel was quiet, even though it was packed. The view from our window was excellent, back of hotel. We can't wait to go back....I would recommend the hotel to have more snow removal in the parking lot.

We even have door dash delivery! Hot tub under the stars, build a bonfire at night (wood provided) or try out the sauna with a plunge into the river! Equipped with an automatic whole house generac generator, power failures won't be an issue here! A level lot with no stairs inside is great for all generations! I think this is a fantastic hotel, one of the standout features is the fact that is built in 2024. Everything is new clean and frankly quite pristine. Some of the highlights are the amazing colourful lobby. I love the fact that there is lots of board games to play especially on a rainy day when you’re in Muskoka. They have fuse ball tables as well. I think breakfast is good. We love their pancake machine. Gym is super clean and up-to-date, Pool is clean as well. The rooms are on the smaller side, but no complaints overall. Bathroom is spacious and shower was great as well. The front desk staff were great, kind and helpful. There’s even some nice small touches that were well. Thought of such as two curtains in the bedroom to get extra darkness while you sleep. I do highly recommend this hotel if you’re in Muskoka. Price is great for the value that you’re getting. Hi

A typical express hotel, the double bed is not very big, the health is good, the breakfast is good, the western style, there should be everything. It is very convenient around the town.

We booked a night here and we were pleasantly surprised how nice the rooms are. The lady behind the desk was very nice and welcoming. The hotel was quiet, even though it was packed. The view from our window was excellent, back of hotel. We can't wait to go back....I would recommend the hotel to have more snow removal in the parking lot.
