Set in a beautiful location this Victorian building is coming up for 150 years old. It was full of charm and in a stunning place. Bracebridge is a fabulous town to stay in and the hotel is just a short distance from the town. The room we stayed at was in the annexe overlooking the river and gardens. It was a beautiful view. The large room itself was a tad tired and in need of an upgrade and refurbishment. However, the bed was comfortable, the aircon worked well and the shower was fine. Breakfast was included and was very good. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't have a bar but did have a comfortable common room to relax in. On the negative side was the Italian restaurant - Basilica. Quite frankly the food and service by a brisk, curt and unhappy server was awful. She was desperate to just get us out of the restaurant as quick as possible. My pasta dishes was terrible.

The room size was decent, and the overall sanitation was quite clean. Check-in was simple, and check-out was very convenient. The building is old and has a certain smell. The ice machine and vending machine were both out of service. However, it's not far from McDonald's and Tim Hortons, and there's a supermarket nearby, so the overall location is fine. Soundproofing was also mediocre. But during maple leaf season, just having a hotel is good enough, and the price was acceptable. I lost a $100 bill somewhere when I pulled out my phone from my pocket, so I didn't have change to tip. My apologies. Overall, it's good and you can stay here.

Located within walking distance to the town of Bracebridge, this cottage has the best of Muskoka living; should it be to canoe (2) kayak (2) or paddle board (2) down the river, play horseshoes or cornhole on the lawn or darts and an oldschool space invaders console with a few hundred games on a rain day? We even have door dash delivery! Hot tub under the stars, build a bonfire at night (wood provided) or try out the sauna with a plunge into the river! Equipped with an automatic whole house generac generator, power failures won't be an issue here! A level lot with no stairs inside is great for all generations! I think this is a fantastic hotel, one of the standout features is the fact that is built in 2024. Everything is new clean and frankly quite pristine. Some of the highlights are the amazing colourful lobby. I love the fact that there is lots of board games to play especially on a rainy day when you’re in Muskoka. They have fuse ball tables as well. I think breakfast is good. We love their pancake machine. Gym is super clean and up-to-date, Pool is clean as well. The rooms are on the smaller side, but no complaints overall. Bathroom is spacious and shower was great as well. The front desk staff were great, kind and helpful. There’s even some nice small touches that were well. Thought of such as two curtains in the bedroom to get extra darkness while you sleep. I do highly recommend this hotel if you’re in Muskoka. Price is great for the value that you’re getting. Hi

I think this is a fantastic hotel, one of the standout features is the fact that is built in 2024. Everything is new clean and frankly quite pristine. Some of the highlights are the amazing colourful lobby. I love the fact that there is lots of board games to play especially on a rainy day when you’re in Muskoka. They have fuse ball tables as well. I think breakfast is good. We love their pancake machine. Gym is super clean and up-to-date, Pool is clean as well. The rooms are on the smaller side, but no complaints overall. Bathroom is spacious and shower was great as well. The front desk staff were great, kind and helpful. There’s even some nice small touches that were well. Thought of such as two curtains in the bedroom to get extra darkness while you sleep. I do highly recommend this hotel if you’re in Muskoka. Price is great for the value that you’re getting. Hi

Set in a beautiful location this Victorian building is coming up for 150 years old. It was full of charm and in a stunning place. Bracebridge is a fabulous town to stay in and the hotel is just a short distance from the town. The room we stayed at was in the annexe overlooking the river and gardens. It was a beautiful view. The large room itself was a tad tired and in need of an upgrade and refurbishment. However, the bed was comfortable, the aircon worked well and the shower was fine. Breakfast was included and was very good. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't have a bar but did have a comfortable common room to relax in. On the negative side was the Italian restaurant - Basilica. Quite frankly the food and service by a brisk, curt and unhappy server was awful. She was desperate to just get us out of the restaurant as quick as possible. My pasta dishes was terrible.

Nice location , riverside Good amenities although cost of bowling is restrictive We enjoyed the swimming pool, a dryer for clothes like one at some community centres would help. Also has a billiards room (not very inviting) Room was good, good bed, we got a river view room.

The room size was decent, and the overall sanitation was quite clean. Check-in was simple, and check-out was very convenient. The building is old and has a certain smell. The ice machine and vending machine were both out of service. However, it's not far from McDonald's and Tim Hortons, and there's a supermarket nearby, so the overall location is fine. Soundproofing was also mediocre. But during maple leaf season, just having a hotel is good enough, and the price was acceptable. I lost a $100 bill somewhere when I pulled out my phone from my pocket, so I didn't have change to tip. My apologies. Overall, it's good and you can stay here.
