We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was ok but during our stay, no one came and clean up and we asked to change the towels only and the housekeeper seemed like she wasn't happy. When we checked in, the staff at the reception didn't give us any information on when to check out or information about the hostel because my application showed that I could check out until 5 pm, luckily I was asking. We don't ask for any special treatment but just the basic thing that we should've known. We've stayed at YHA Sydney Harbour and the staff were friendlier. Not that bad but not that good though.

Don't compare this apartment to hotels in China! It felt absolutely great. If you're looking to treat your family and have some free time, you can totally head to Coles, grab some Australian beef, and cook it yourself. Pair it with a bottle of Penfolds 407, a favorite among Chinese, and it would be perfect! Getting around is incredibly convenient, with Queen Street just a short walk away!

Good location right in the CBD, making it easy to get around Brisbane and access shops, restaurants, and public transport. Everything is within walking distance, which is very convenient. The hotel itself is decent for a short stay, though the staff were just alright and nothing particularly memorable. Overall, a practical choice mainly for its central location.

Price: Around 200 AUD per night, including breakfast. Facilities: Quite new, with smart features similar to other Australian hotels. The amenities match the price point. There's a free sauna, a gym (with a squat rack, dumbbells, kettlebells, various cardio equipment, and showers), and a swimming pool (water quality was good, but I didn't go in). Cleanliness: Excellent, the bedding was also very clean. Location: Close to Central Station, and the surrounding area feels very safe. Service: Breakfast, which would normally cost over 30 AUD, is a buffet with everything you'd expect. You can also order eggs à la carte (regular ones are free, special ones cost a few extra AUD), which is a great deal. The amenity delivery and room service were also good.

Living Room bar is a must to visit !! Tony and his colleagues were super hospitable, mixed us most of the menu items, and our favourites were the Beet-ness and Espresso 2.0. We stayed for only the one night on the 19th floor and thought the view at night was great. Waking up to see so much of Brisbane in the morning was a real surprise. Breakfast Buffet menu options were vast, however we chose from the à la carte menu paired with some fantastic coffees to start the day.

The hotel's location is excellent, right on Queen Street. You can easily walk to South Bank just by crossing the bridge, and public transportation nearby is very convenient. My room type booking was incorrect due to an issue with Ctrip, but it was resolved very quickly, and the hotel staff were very proactive. The breakfast was good, and staying in a triple room with two people was very comfortable, as it had two bathrooms. Room cleaning was also done promptly. Overall, I highly recommend it. The front desk supervisor is Chinese and speaks Mandarin, which made communication very smooth.

The hotel is quite old; the facilities, room amenities, and even the elevators are showing their age. The biggest and most serious issue is the terrible soundproofing in the rooms. If you're looking for a relaxing stay where you can sleep in until you wake up naturally, this hotel is definitely not for you! However, if you wake up at 7 AM every day, then this hotel might be perfect. The soundproofing is incredibly poor! You can hear conversations from next door very clearly. If there are kids around, it's an absolute nightmare, unbelievably noisy! Plus, the room doors slam shut with a very loud bang every time. There were several families with children staying next to me, and every morning at 7 AM, it was a constant cycle of opening and closing doors, running, jumping, and shouting. I complained to the reception, but it only stopped for half a day before the running, jumping, and shouting started again. Eventually, I couldn't take it anymore and went down to reception to request a room change! If the staff had offered me a room change after my first complaint, I would have praised them highly. Unfortunately, they completely ignored it until I couldn't stand it anymore and demanded a room change. Only then did they move me, which doesn't really meet the standard for hotel service and problem-solving. Housekeeping wasn't very thorough; they only made the bed, didn't change the sheets, and sometimes remembered to change the towels, sometimes not. Also, the towels and sheets weren't very clean and had stains. As for vacuuming, it wasn't done daily; they only vacuumed if you asked them to, otherwise, they didn't. On a positive note, the hotel staff were polite, friendly, and always smiling. The rooms were also reasonably spacious with enough room for luggage. And the location is right in the city center, which is very convenient.

I found staying at this hotel at this particular time to be excellent value for money. The location is superb, right behind a casino. It appears to be associated with the Star Hotel group. This hotel is genuinely a historical landmark; I heard it was originally a treasury vault before being converted into a hotel. Both the room's design aesthetic and even the elevators are very unique. A huge plus for me was that when I arrived at 10 AM to drop off my luggage, the front desk staff said our room was ready, allowing us to check in early – what a fantastic surprise! Our room was spacious with high ceilings, and despite its visible history, it was impeccably clean. You could truly call it a work of art, reportedly 200 years old.

The front desk wasn't very welcoming to Chinese guests. The bedding had yellow stains on it. They gave us a connecting room, and when we asked to change, they told us to go downstairs and do it ourselves. We went, but then they told us there were no other rooms available. It was a complete hassle for nothing. There's no real view, and there's even a construction site nearby. The location isn't as good as the W Hotel; if you're coming to Brisbane, I'd still recommend the W. The best part was the Chinese auntie at breakfast; she was super warm and friendly.

I chose to stay at the hotel because I live more than $100 Uber fare away and wanted the convenience of being able to walk home. The hotel's location was ideal; however, I was informed that water supply would be unavailable between 10pm and 6am due to maintenance. As I booked the hotel for a Saturday night out, I anticipated being able to use the shower during my stay. Being advised otherwise after making the reservation was disappointing.

I’d give a solid 9.5/10 to this hostel. Everything is great, staff is amazing - very friendly and welcoming, everyday there is an event and they are always nice, location is perfect - walking distance to all major points in the city and very close to public transports (both greyhound busses stop and train station for the airport). Guests are great too and this is a very social hostel - but fortunately not a party one. Perfect to make new friends but also to get some good sleep in a quiet place. Toilets in the rooms are a bit old and the cleanliness is not excellent but still good. Highly recommended if you want to spend some good time in Brisbane in great social hostel.

I want to give a special shout-out to the front desk staff, who were incredibly patient. My English isn't great, but they were so helpful in resolving my issues! Especially a guy from Hong Kong who even helped me translate the restaurant menu! Also, the restaurant's head chef, KK, is Chinese, and he specially prepared a pizza and fruit yogurt salad that suited our palate – generous portions and very fresh fruit! Super nice! The only downside is that the airport shuttle bus costs $8 per person and takes about 30 minutes, which isn't ideal. A taxi is also quite expensive at $20.

Not much of the service at the desk but that’s not what you need, it’s a good accommodation. Come with kitchenette and washer/dryer. Great for families. Bathroom body soap was diluted with water. First and foremost, the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's incredibly convenient for transportation and very close to the city center and major attractions, making getting around a breeze. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel is an excellent choice. The hotel's overall environment is clean and tidy, and the lobby is spacious and bright. The front desk staff are warm, professional, and courteous; they proactively greet guests every time, making you feel right at home. Check-in and check-out were also incredibly efficient, with virtually no waiting time, making the entire process very smooth. The room layout is well-designed, offering ample space and excellent natural light. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, fully equipped, and the toiletries were of good quality. What pleasantly surprised me most was the excellent soundproofing in the room – I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway or neighboring rooms, allowing for a truly peaceful rest. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety of options, including both Chinese and Western dishes. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, catering to all tastes. The servers were also very attentive, proactively asking if guests needed assistance, which left a very positive impression. I also had the chance to experience the hotel's gym and swimming pool this time. Both were well-equipped and well-maintained, with a very clean and relaxing environment. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is comfortable and quiet, perfect for unwinding and rejuvenating. In summary, this is a high-quality hotel with excellent service, complete facilities, and a beautiful environment. I highly recommend it for both business trips and family vacations. The service is simply not too disgusting! I went to check in, and I had to charge a deposit of $100. I didn’t pay much attention. When I swiped the card, I found that they had swiped nearly $500. I asked if my room had been prepaid. Will retreat tomorrow! It doesn't matter so much, I just said very harshly, isn't this your problem? She said, yes yes, I'll give you a drink coupon! It's really funny. I don't want to say, she probably fooled it. Then there is no drinking water in the room. When I checked in, I didn't tell us to take the pot to the elevator. We thought that there was no water, so we took the drink voucher and went to the bar below to get a drink, but when we heard that you wanted to use the drink voucher, we said we were closed. We said that there was no water in the room, so we told us to fetch water by ourselves! What’s even more irritating is the breakfast, we ordered breakfast included, because it is a single breakfast, so a person can only order one drink and one breakfast! I added a few hundred yuan more, just two stuttering! If you want something else, you have to add money! An internet celebrity hotel is an internet celebrity hotel, and it's useless except to take photos of them! Really believe in evil and live here! The breakfast buffet at W is delicious!

The environment here is absolutely impeccable, I must say. The lobby, rooms, pool, and rooftop restaurant are all beautifully decorated. As for the facilities, they're also excellent. Being a new hotel, everything is very modern. However, the bathroom has one major drawback: there's nowhere to put your phone if you're in the toilet area. Cleanliness is very good. Rooms are only cleaned if you notify the front desk daily, and that 'clean room' light doesn't seem to do much. Service, though, was just mediocre. The staff at the rooftop restaurant, in particular, had a terrible attitude, acting completely uninterested. The front desk staff were quite good at check-in, but poor communication during shift changes led to a significant amount of money being unjustly charged to my credit card. I only discovered this because I noticed the unreasonable charges in time. It took involving Trip.com and my bank to resolve it, especially since the charges happened 3 days after I had already left the hotel, with no email notification whatsoever. If I hadn't been vigilant, I wouldn't have known about these losses, as they only appear on the statement – this is truly awful. There's even one charge I'm still unclear about, but it's too late to investigate further. So, when staying at this hotel, you absolutely need to keep a close eye on your bill! This whole ordeal even affected my subsequent vacation, as I spent every day trying to sort this out!

It's incredibly annoying having to fill out a form every time you check in. You even have to take a selfie. The owner seems to spend a lot of money on the hostel, so the quality of the accommodations is decent.

One of Hotel front staffs was not kind or reasonable. I felt shamed that the staff didn’t treat me fairly with other guests,,, after overnight flight fr my home to Brisbane for more than 10 hours, i was very tired so I even didn’t have any energy to complain,,, the room next to my room was under construction,,,, every early morning around 6am I had to wake up becuz of drilling noise,,, feel bad until now,,, not gonna choose this hotel again 😖

I can’t thank the team enough for their kindness! I arrived late and hadn't checked my email for the self-entry instructions, so I was worried I’d be stranded. Instead, the staff actually came out in the middle of the night to make sure I got in safely and settled. I felt so well taken care of—this is hospitality at its best.

Everything is good, good city view, the location is excellent, near the Roma street station, just a few minutes walking, but I see some insects in the kitchen area. I have a half an hour check out, but Neil say no problem friendly

The room was very clean, which was great. I had to leave early in the morning this time, so I didn't get to have breakfast. As a solo female traveler, having the toilets and showers on the same floor as the men made me feel a little uneasy. In particular, I was concerned about the large gap at the bottom of the shower room door, making it visible from the outside. I thought it was great that it was close to the station, but since the train service was infrequent, I ended up taking a taxi. (I wish I had looked into that beforehand.)
