Overall good experience, very convenient location and close to Airport, I am not sure about Hotel breakfast policy but they should consider keeping Egg Cheese Omelet separate from other meats i.e. Pork etc. Since some people have dietary need like myself and my family so we have no other options then to visit Tim Hortons or other place for breakfast although we have paid for the breakfast. Great value for a short term stay near the YYC, with turn off from major road BarlowTrail NE. The front entrance is a bit confusing if approaching from the rear industrial area.
Staff were friendly and professional, usual hotel damage deposit and person staying in expectation.

1. The booking said free parking and the hotel during the checkin told us there was a parking fee.

Location strategic as there are fewer homeless people around compared with the 7th Avenue or core shopping area, and I didn't feel unsafe during my stay. It's near Chinatown too. I however do not particularly like this hotel as there's no kettle inside the room, air conditioning is rather strong and couldn't be adjusted except the temperature. Nothing to eat nearby and the restaurant on 2/F requires booking. The hotel doesn't have a character itself. The hotel has charging piles, making it convenient to charge electric cars like Tesla. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The only minor drawback is that the air conditioner is quite noisy, but this is a common issue with independent air conditioners, after all, the compressor is indoors. It can be seen that this is an old hotel with some years, and the front desk service is very professional. But when I arrived at the room, I found that there were hairs in the sink and bathtub in the bathroom... But fortunately, the front desk immediately asked the cleaning staff to clean it... But this also made me doubt the hygiene of the entire room
Breakfast is made to order, and it is cooked first. The taste and quantity are very sufficient! This is a good comment. But back to the hygiene issue, a male waiter scratched his back in front of me, wiped his sweat with his hands many times (he was sweating profusely), and then used the same hands to serve the guests... When the waitress served coffee, her nails touched the coffee... This also made me question the hygiene of the restaurant...
The swimming pool and hot spring are very comfortable, and there is also a slide~ The entertainment facilities are also comprehensive, which is also a good comment!
The overall evaluation is that the service is okay, the facilities are a bit old, but the room layout is reasonable, and it will not be uncomfortable to stay. But! The hygiene problem is fatal... This is why I will probably not stay again next time...FromJPY 21,121

Overall it was a decent stay here. Pros:
-Clean room with comfortable beds
-Shower had lots of hot water and good water pressure. -nice clean waterpark with helpful and friendly attendant who did not rush us at the end of the night when our young kiddo was dragging his feet to avoid having to leave - heated pools and 2 water slides made the hotel more appealing for us with having our kids along Cons: - the waterpark slides did not have enough of an angle so we couldn’t get down the slides with out having to propel ourselves at times which was odd but also nearly comical
-tiny rooms especially for the price. It felt a bit cramped with the limited furniture and the kids on pull out sofa. - the bathroom door provided zero privacy from the rest of the room with no sound barrier, plus it had a “frosted” glass panel as the main part of the door so it was completely see through, and was a tiny bathroom. - no in room microwave so we missed out on being able to heat up leftover takeout from our trip to help us keep costs down and reduce waste unless my husband went hunting for one to use on the main floor, but that was quite a hike when we are on 4th floor so food was cooled right down by the time it made it back to our room. - ordering from the menu at the onsite breakfast restaurant was expensive and the food was quite disappointing. I always enjoy my stay at Deerfoot Inn & Casino. The purpose of my trip was to hang out with my sister and catch up on our lives. The deluxe queen room was spacious and welcoming. I found a stain on the top sheet when the cover topper fell away. Just looked like a coffee stain, but jeez?! We went down to the buffet for supper, and the prime rib and scalloped potatoes were delicious, as well as the other entries. After we ate, we sat in the lounge next to the restaurant. I loved the big, comfortable chairs we chose to sit on. When I got up to use the ladies' room, my hips were out of sorts for several steps because the chairs are sitting too low. My fellow Rotarian and I came for the 2025 Rotary International Conference in Calgary. The stay was pleasant. Service was excellent. The hotel is friendly to families, with complete facilities and a fully equipped kitchen. This hotel shares a gym, swimming pool, and self-service laundry with another Marriott hotel nearby, which is also very convenient. The sofa bed is not very big, but it is no problem to sleep two children, but be careful about the edges of the sofa bed. I booked a corner room at the far end, which is larger but a bit far from the elevator. Did not eat breakfast, but the lunch on the first floor restaurant was ok, the room was large, the double room seemed to allow four people, because the four of us opened two rooms, the front desk started to make a mistake and thought we were one Room, and then gave us four room cards, did not say nothing wrong, and later learned that it is two rooms. There is a small swimming pool on the first floor, and the environment is ok. The double beds in the double room are large, with a balcony, a coffee machine, and hygiene. However the shuttle only runs once every hour which was strange for a hotel only a 10 minute drive from the airport and not convenient for some flight times. This hotel in Calgary offers incredible value for money! It was by far the most comfortable stay I had throughout my entire trip in Canada. The facilities are new, the rooms are spacious, and the decor is elegant and tasteful. They even have a gym. The service was very welcoming, though the restaurant food was quite average – but then again, Chinese palates can be hard to please! The best part was the long row of charging desks in the lobby. For someone like me, who had half a day to kill before heading to the airport and needed to work on my laptop, it was absolutely perfect! The hotel is also just a 100-meter walk from Caesar's Steak House, a famous old steakhouse in Calgary. If you're interested, it's worth checking out. This hotel gave my Canadian trip a wonderful ending! (Although I did encounter some truly disgusting and over-the-top hotels along the way – like the Glacier View Lodge by the Columbia Icefield on the Icefields Parkway near Jasper. Not our first time staying here -but we left with a sense of frustration today!
It began when the front desk couldn’t find our reservation - twice ! (despite a phone call 2 hours prior to check in). Had to take my driver’s licence and go “somewhere to talk to someone in the back” - then he came back (after 2 or so
minutes) and “magically” the reservation had been found. Unnerving for my identification to disappear from my sight. No explanation offered.
Frustrated again at check out when the desk clerk tried to charge us for something from the snack bar in our room - we had literally left our room 2 minutes before. Couldn’t tell us what item we had “consumed” (we hadn’t consumed anything - especially at those prices!) and then when asked how they could possibly know within 2 minutes (of us leaving our room) that an item had been consumed - they became very defensive and couldn’t actually answer the question of “how do you know what to charge us for” and the response was “it’s for the report at the end of the day - no one is saying you actually took anything”. Except that’s exactly what the desk clerk said the charge was going to be for - “an item from the snack bar for a total of $4.20”.
After challenging the charge we were told that no charge would be put through on the credit card.
Made to feel like we had “stolen” something when we asked for further clarification on the charge.
“No apologies or thank you for staying with us”.
Disappointing.

Staff members were helpful. Patio accessed from room was very cosy and pleasantly set up.
A gentle reminder that the bathtub/shower floor was extremely slippery, to the point of being potentially hazardous when in use.

We loved our experience at The Dorian! Room was beautiful with so many details covered. Bathroom was huge (hard to find these days) and we especially loved the details in the wet bar cart. Service was friendly from check in to check out. We did not eat on site, but the location was in walking distance to our dinner date. Only negative was the cleaning staff talking loudly in the hallway at 9 am for about 20 minutes. I should have let them know their voices carried into our room, but instead didn't say anything...I regret that after the fact. All in all, we had a great time and will for sure book at the Dorian again!FromJPY 27,734

The plan is not as good as the changing trip to Calgary. Fortunately, it was a great surprise and joy along the River Ridge Hotel. I stayed for 4 consecutive nights. The room space, facilities, common living room layout and breakfast snacks were all done in place and intimate. It’s really comfortable to make breakfast and sit in the sun every morning. The hotel environment is not to mention, just by the Bao River, there are two different styles of riverside parks at both ends. Even if you visit the hotel around the hotel, you can enjoy the autumn colors and different scenery of Canada.FromJPY 9,068

The room was good, big enough, the furniture was new, the sofa and bed were very comfortable.
The front desk service of the hotel is polite and thoughtful, and the leisure area in the lobby is very spacious and warm.
If you want to talk about the shortcomings, the breakfast provided by the hotel is a set meal but needs to be ordered in the accompanying restaurant menu. The content is cumbersome and the waiter feedback is very slow. It always says I will come back without any constructive suggestions. Hotel guests should be arranged a concise version of the package, which is convenient for guests in a hurry to save time. In addition, the waiter in the restaurant, especially an older man, was very impatient.
