My husband booked a two night stay at Painter's lodge for my birthday. Apparently the lodge is under new management and just opened 2 days before our stay. This lodge must have been quite the hotel in its day. It needs a lot of work and with love and care I think it will reach its original beauty.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant and bar were not up and running but we were offered a continental breakfast of yogurt, fruit, granola bars and juice.
The location was perfect and the decor was lovely. It felt like time had been turned back to a wonderful era. Lots of history displayed on the walls.

The apartment hotel run by the Korean couple is super clean and has first-class service. The hotel is right by the river and the scenery is great, especially sitting on the huge balcony and drinking coffee is really a treat. On the first afternoon of our stay, I saw a black bear on the balcony. I thought there should be bears because there are many fish in the river. The apartment hotel run by the Korean couple is super clean and has first-class service. The hotel is right by the river and the scenery is great, especially sitting on the huge balcony and drinking coffee is really a treat. On the first afternoon of our stay, I saw a black bear on the balcony. I thought there should be bears because there are many fish in the river. As a result, I was surprised when I chatted with the uncle of Korea 😱. Another bonus point is the sauna in the roomFrom£81

The resort and the room we had were soo Beautiful, we really enjoyed our one day here! Amazing view on the golf court, a big room and bathroom and everything was well decorated, very modern. Also, if you’re a light sleeper, do not worry, it is very well soundproofed. Anyway, everything was perfect so 10/10, will recommend!

My husband booked a two night stay at Painter's lodge for my birthday. Apparently the lodge is under new management and just opened 2 days before our stay. This lodge must have been quite the hotel in its day. It needs a lot of work and with love and care I think it will reach its original beauty.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant and bar were not up and running but we were offered a continental breakfast of yogurt, fruit, granola bars and juice.
The location was perfect and the decor was lovely. It felt like time had been turned back to a wonderful era. Lots of history displayed on the walls.
We had a wonderful stay.

My family of four with children has some business to do in Campbell River, so there are some inconveniences with the one-day reservation facility, but overall it's good.
