Apart from front desk receptionist who never smiled, greeted or said anything that might make travellers/ customers feel welcome, other staff were helpful and friendly. However, as the first person travellers encounter and deal with inside the hotel, after helpful bellboy taking our cases as we approached the front door, and doorman greeting us, this young lady could use a’refresher’ in PR / customer service and basic politeness! The hotel was renovated in 2023 but the carpet in our room could use a thorough steam cleaning, in fact the attractive decor and overall impression are undercut by a badly stained carpet, something vacuuming cannot remedy. Both my husband and I found the mattress uncomfortable- we like firm but this was hard - ‘like a board! I noted, and did not sleep well, turning frequently from one side to another. Had we stayed longer than two days, we would have asked to move rooms or have a ‘topper’ added. There were several good restaurants in the neighbourhood as well as a buzzy night market. Centrally located, we were able to access tourist sites easily by tuk tuk.

The Internet is basically satisfactory, the service is very professional, and the location is relatively central, but Ctrip's description is wrong. The hotel is 18 kilometers away from the airport instead of 9 kilometers as described by the hotel. The owner is a local and very enthusiastic. The security downstairs is well done, and the 24-hour security guards are on duty downstairs. Hotels like Chittagong are already very good. There are no construction sites around, sleep is very quiet, very suitable for business travel

Would go back. Now about the image, Velvita ‘topping’ was big at home growing up and it’s the choice of Vegans now (no bovine ever came close to this ‘food stuff’. Anyways, the Hitel is fine.

I recently stayed at Radisson Blu Chattogram and while the room itself was truly impressive—spacious, clean, and aesthetically pleasing—the overall experience left much to be desired. The hotel's architecture and interior design are definitely its strong points. However, the service did not live up to the Radisson brand. Throughout our stay, staff were unhelpful and dismissive, often responding with, “We don’t have this,” or “You can do it yourself.” This was particularly disappointing when it came to basic requests like airport transfer. For such a large hotel, having so few cars available is simply inadequate and quite frustrating for guests. Breakfast was another major letdown. It was, quite frankly, the worst I’ve encountered in all my hotel stays—limited variety, poorly executed dishes, and an overall lack of attention to quality. It was far from what one would expect from a hotel of this stature. Radisson Blu Chattogram has the potential to offer a world-class experience, but right now, it feels more like Radisson Black. There's serious room for improvement, especially in staff training and food & beverage offerings.

Throughout our stay, staff were unhelpful and dismissive, often responding with, “We don’t have this,” or “You can do it yourself.” This was particularly disappointing when it came to basic requests like airport transfer. For such a large hotel, having so few cars available is simply inadequate and quite frustrating for guests. Breakfast was another major letdown. It was, quite frankly, the worst I’ve encountered in all my hotel stays—limited variety, poorly executed dishes, and an overall lack of attention to quality. It was far from what one would expect from a hotel of this stature. Radisson Blu Chattogram has the potential to offer a world-class experience, but right now, it feels more like Radisson Black. There's serious room for improvement, especially in staff training and food & beverage offerings.

The hotel's free breakfast is bread omelettes and juice, and the restaurant is open 24 hours a day, which is good. Drinking water is also given. There are a lot of mosquitoes and the cabinet has a musty smell. The drying rack is not enough.

Lovely moderately priced property. Good airco, huge room, fridge in room ++, breakfast was very good, egg station, cornflakes (yes!), wide selection of local favorites. Service very very very good. Would go back. Now about the image, Velvita ‘topping’ was big at home growing up and it’s the choice of Vegans now (no bovine ever came close to this ‘food stuff’. Anyways, the Hitel is fine.
