The aunties at the front desk of the inn were very welcoming. Not only did they pick us up where we got off the bus, but they also helped me carry my luggage upstairs. The inn is very clean. It was our first time traveling to Dong Village. The second option is to pay extra to stay in the room for the first night. If you don’t stay in this room, you won’t comment on the house. It can be said that as a senior travel friend, I still have to say something about the service:
This time I was traveling with my best friend and two 3.4-year-old girls. I chose this B&B because it was close to Zhaikou, so I didn’t have to carry my luggage far. I saw reviews that said there was a pick-up and drop-off service.
The uncle who came to pick me up arrived on time. I booked my return ticket at noon on the third day and called the boss to ask for it to be delivered in advance. He actually said that it was only free once! ! ! I only stayed for two nights. Even if it was free, it was only once per night, so why not twice? The boss has to go out to pick him up anyway, or he can only go out half an hour early. I have a child with me, so I can’t run and rush. Congjiang is a stopover, but I don’t want to go 20 minutes early, so I said I’d go out and wait... I’m speechless, and I live on the third floor and I didn’t ask for help with my luggage. I brought a lot of things.

Located inside the Zhaoxing village. Facilities are good and room was cleaned daily. The toiletries are basic and I recommend you bring your own.
There were free 2 bottles of water everyday but there is also a water dispenser at the reception. The guy at the reception picked me up from the village gate so it was easy and I did not have to search for the location. He gave me an introduction to the map of the village and showed me where interesting areas are located. The hotel is a short walk to town hospital which is convenient for covid testing and also the bus stop to go to Miao village and railway station. My room has a balcony that faces the lake, very nice view. The reception guy was very helpful, answers all my questions and also helped me purchase local snacks to take back to Shanghai. Not sure if he sleeps because he was always available! Breakfast is Chinese noodles with some purple taro, mantou and egg. It's the same everyday. I had a very relaxed and comfortable stay! Highly recommended!

The overall location of the hotel is very good. The front desk will also tell you that it is best to take the Jingjiao bus to the fork in the road. You can at least reach it by walking on a small path without climbing. Of course, we understand that the old building does not have an elevator, so we try to simplify luggage entry at the entrance of the scenic spot.
