Stayed late June to see the stunning Itawake view. No skiing, just soaking in Hakuba’s nature. Hotel was peaceful, surrounded by trees — perfect for relaxing walks. Staff were friendly and super helpful. Room was clean, a bit small for what we booked. Breakfast was okay, mix of Japanese and Western. The onsen was the real highlight — so refreshing after a day out. Even without snow, Mominoki was a great base. Cozy, quiet, and welcoming. Would stay again.

The hotel's dining is definitely a highlight, especially dinner, which rivals some Michelin-starred restaurants, featuring a generous use of local ingredients. The afternoon tea popcorn and jam cheese were also delicious, and there's a free flow of red wine, white wine, sake, and various teas. I also recommend booking the silk bath early; having it to myself for nearly an hour was fantastic. The hotel's location is also good, not far from Mu Pond Ski Resort, making transportation convenient. What's worth complaining about is the service, which was genuinely subpar. There aren't many English-speaking staff, and communicating with some of the older female front desk staff felt difficult. Plus, the rooms aren't properly cleaned; the toilet and vanity aren't wiped down. They just make the bed and change some towels. The hotel is a little old, and the facilities are just okay.

The hotel experience is very good. Although the customer service is off work at 7 o'clock, it is very considerate to leave the keys for us and tell us a lot of precautions On the day we left, the car we rented needs to be fitted with anti-skid tires. Because of the heavy snow, the store manager enthusiastically helped us install them. He also called a friend to come and help. The overall hotel is relatively warm and comfortable. The only drawback is that the room is a little lacking in configuration and air conditioning. There is no heating, and there is no floor heating. It is necessary to borrow an external heater, but it is still acceptable

The room is not small for Japan, it is clean and the view outside the window is beautiful. The service is friendly and there is a semi-open-air private hot spring. Although there is no scenery, it is still very comfortable to take a bath after skiing. The restaurant and bar are both very nice. I met the owner and had a pleasant half-day, half-English chat with him. The owner also treated me to many drinks. The only downside is that there is no elevator, which makes it a little troublesome to move luggage. If you want to eat at the restaurant, remember to make a reservation one day in advance.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly. There's a self-service UCC coffee machine in the lobby with free refills. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the large windows offered fantastic views of the snowy landscape. Our room was fully equipped for cooking, with a stove, sink, microwave, fridge, and kettle – everything you need to prepare your own dinner if you're on vacation. If you're driving, there's a large supermarket just a minute or two away. Plus, there's a hot spring bath, which is perfect for soaking away fatigue after skiing. They also offer free parking and ski equipment rental, which was both good quality and reasonably priced. If I ever visit Hakuba again, I'd definitely choose this hotel.

Going skiing in December The Wulong Pavilion is a good choice. It is very close to the Happo ski resort. If the rental equipment staff will pick you up and pick up the cable car station in the morning, the hotel will also have a special car to pick up the service. The days of heavy snowfall are really good. On the ground floor of the hotel, each room has a box for storing ski equipment. It is also very convenient, and there is also a laundry dryer. On the photo in the booking system the room looked much more beautiful than it was in reality, so the first impression is disappointment. We booked a two-bedroom room. The cost of staying was about $200 a day for two. In our view, this room is expensive. The room is very tired. Administrator Joanne is friendly, ready to help and answer questions. We were provided with a free transfer from the bus station to the hotel and back. In general, the driver of the hotel always took someone somewhere. To the nearest lift and restaurants probably. We have not used the hotel to lift. A forest path can be reached in about 5 minutes to the ski slope of the Happo one resort. The free shuttle to the lifts of the Hakuba 48 and Gory resorts is very close. You can get to the bus station and shop in about 30 minutes. There is an onsen in the hotel. Breakfast was included in the cost of accommodation. Normal in general. But the dining room is cold.

Lawsons & a public bath just across the road + shuttle bus service to both Goryo & Happo resorts. It was pretty empty as it was Spring but the views in the area was still breathtaking. Highly recommended for Golden Week travels!

From Matsumoto to Baima, take the IC card taken when entering the station on the JR Otaru Line. When you arrive at Baima, you cannot use the IC card. You can't speak English and Japanese. Fortunately, the boss of the Baima Canadian mountain forest cabin will pick you up and use translation software to help communicate with the JR station staff (originally paid cash first, Then reset my card). Baima Canada Mountain Lodge, this hot spring hotel surrounded by ski resorts, has many plateau ski resorts 1 to 5 miles nearby, and is a 1 km walk from the famous Bafangweigen ski resort 🚠 station (general boss will pick up and drop off for free). One bedroom and one living room apartment kitchen utensils are complete, the room is clean and the staff is warm. The hotel service is quite intimate, the boss is free and responsive, (free JR White Horse Station connection, need to be made in advance), we arrived on October 25, the free shuttle bus at the Octagon Odori cable car station has been suspended, but the hotel owner is very user-friendly and will pick up and drop off for free, making tourists feel at home during the trip. The hotel's hot springs are to the ”Baima Temple の Wood ホテル” bubble (provide coupons 1000/person) 250 meters away, the source of the discharge of Zhuang Bingwei の soup, spring quality , very smooth after the bubble. Baima の Wood ホテル and Baima Canadian Mountain Lodge are the same boss. Where is the restaurant that provides (buffet) breakfast and dinner, it is very rich. If you have any needs, please contact the boss in advance to make an appointment. Breakfast is about 2,000 /person (can be discounted 200/person); The price of dinner is 5,000/person (can be discounted 500/person). During this 5-night stay, I got a lot of help from the boss. It was a very unforgettable experience. I fell in love with the beautiful Baima Village in the sunny day of waiting for the Bafangweigen Bafang Pool! Every summer, my friends and I stay at a rental villa in Hakuba. There have been years we couldn't make it, but this tradition has been going on for decades. For about the past ten years, we've been trying different accommodations each year, but this time, it's our second consecutive stay at this particular place, just like last year. Since the facility is new, the equipment is naturally clean and very easy to use. What I find most impressive about this place is the facility management, including the cleaning. The setup is meticulous, almost on par with a hotel. Even the bathrooms are spotless, with no water stains whatsoever. Although we don't have direct contact with the staff due to their operating model, I'm truly impressed by the high level of facility management service. I'm planning to use it again next season.

The hotel might be a bit far from the train station, but they offer a free and punctual shuttle service. The hotel manager, Dana, was incredibly helpful with information and travel recommendations. The place is great. It feels very new and the living space was very good. We booked the 2 bedroom with loft. The loft do have another 2 beds, so the apartment can easy stay 6 people. However, there is only one shower and toilet. So it might be a little busy there during peak hour 😂. A good thing is they are seperated. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again if we visit again. We drove, so location was not an issue for us.

Hotel La Vigne Hakuba was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel has a beautiful minimalist design and feels clean, cozy, and very welcoming. Both the lobby and rooms were pleasantly scented, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The concierge team was extremely helpful and the overall service throughout the stay was excellent. The room was spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully designed with a very functional layout. The bedding was also very comfortable. The hotel also provides excellent facilities for skiers, including a dedicated storage and locker room for ski equipment, as well as a separate shower room where guests can freshen up and change after skiing on the day of check-out. Overall, a fantastic stay at Hotel La Vigne Hakuba — highly recommended.

The hotel's dining is definitely a highlight, especially dinner, which rivals some Michelin-starred restaurants, featuring a generous use of local ingredients. The afternoon tea popcorn and jam cheese were also delicious, and there's a free flow of red wine, white wine, sake, and various teas. I also recommend booking the silk bath early; having it to myself for nearly an hour was fantastic. The hotel's location is also good, not far from Mu Pond Ski Resort, making transportation convenient. What's worth complaining about is the service, which was genuinely subpar. There aren't many English-speaking staff, and communicating with some of the older female front desk staff felt difficult. Plus, the rooms aren't properly cleaned; the toilet and vanity aren't wiped down. They just make the bed and change some towels. The hotel is a little old, and the facilities are just okay.

We had an amazing 2N stay at Ringo Lodge! Room was ok size for 3 pax, service was great and breakfast was basic but decent. The place is well kept and easy to get to with a car. The only thing we needed to get used to was the shared toilet/shower arrangement. The shower was spacious and had an open air bath which was really nice, especially after a long day! There is only 1 toilet for each gender, toilet does not have a heater, so can be quite cold in Winter months.

Great customer service, staff was friendly and polite. Pick up service from/to Hakuba bus terminal was a plus. Had their seasonal set dinner at 11,000Yen but was not the best and lots of food choices along Echoland. Overall stay was pleasant.

The hotel might be a bit far from the train station, but they offer a free and punctual shuttle service. The hotel manager, Dana, was incredibly helpful with information and travel recommendations. There's also a free onsen available. In the morning, you can take a walk around the Jump Stadium, which offers a beautiful view. The hotel was able to change the breakfast to a Japanese-style breakfast, which was delicious.

The price of the snow season is quite expensive. The big bed room is 5000+, and the Gaza hair bed is more than 300. This hotel is marked with four stars, but the Google search is marked with Samsung. Not run by locals in Japan, the sanitary environment is really average, the big bathing venue is sticky, there are floating hair in the pool, and the towels are thrown everywhere. The carpet used in the room, but the vacuum is not thorough, and the dust allergy has to wear a mask, and the purifier can be comfortable. Breakfast is all European, there is no Japanese soup or the like, cold food. I wanted to use a dryer, but as soon as I entered the socks, the dryer was full of black hair. The pick-up day was also promised 15 minutes, but I waited for 30 minutes. I called again and said that there were other things on the road. Not recommended, if you want to come to Baima, it is recommended to book other hotels.

We love Hakuba so much even in green season. Looking forward to visit Hakuba in winter and green season again! The receptionist is friendly. Check-in and check-out were fast and hassle free.Room is big. We stay a night only here. But looking forward to go back to Hakuba in green season and winter. At least must spend 3 nights there! Driving is recommended to explore Hakuba.
