We had a fantastic stay at the SpringHill Suites Seattle South Lake Union ☺️ The room was very nice, clean and modern, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a good variety of options and the large shower was a great bonus. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the busy downtown areas, which made it the perfect location to explore the city while still enjoying a quieter atmosphere. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely stay here again!

A historic hotel with a large enough room, divided into two areas: living room and bedroom. The location is also convenient, and you can walk to the famous Pike Place Market and its surroundings. The front desk service is also very good. We arrived at the hotel at 12 noon, and normally check in at 4 pm, but when we asked about parking, we were arranged to check in as there was a room available. The experience was very good and it will be my first choice next time I go to Seattle.

Can't say that I would stay here again. First, the positives: Great location close to Pike Place and the train to get to Lumen. Front desk staff on arrival and leaving were friendly. Now the negatives: Sent an email a week ahead that never got answered. Ended up calling 2 days before arrival and asked about early check-in. No option for early check-in guarantee but was told ”wouldn't be a problem” to check in 2 hours earlier than the 4:00 standard. Finally got an email at 4:05 that our room was ready. Needless to say, it really messed up our plans. Second, walls are paper thin. Had some influencer type wake us up at 1am recording his vlog or whatever. The one pair of free ear plugs just didnt cut it. Thirdly, I understand it is an old building but the upkeep and maintenance was lacking. Fourth, absolutely no clothes storage at all. Fine for an overnight stay but for multi-night stays, it got tiring living out of the suitcase. Fifth, parking is $45 a night to self-park a block away. And finally, not sure if they are the same owners but the bar/restaurant downstairs for guests had HORRIBLY slow service. Definitely not a perk to staying here. All in all, 2 stars. Won't stay again.

This hotel boasts an excellent location right in downtown Seattle, within walking distance to Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, and other city landmarks. It's also incredibly convenient for taking the subway and monorail. The area feels very safe; personally, I didn't worry about walking back to the hotel after dark. The hygiene and service were standard and satisfactory. They even offer a daily $15 credit for 'The Market,' which is enough for a couple of coffees or yogurts. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd recommend it.

The location is fantastic! It's within walking distance to the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, Museum of Pop Culture, Pike Place Market, and downtown shopping. It's also surrounded by many tech companies, with Amazon's headquarters just a few minutes' walk away. There's a Whole Foods nearby, a famous organic grocery store in the US, offering a great selection of fruits, vegetables, and hot food. The room is a bit small, but that's not an issue if you're out and about all day. The iPad control system is a nice touch and kids older than elementary school age would enjoy it. The hotel breakfast is standard American; the selection isn't huge, but the quality of the food is good.

The biggest drawback is that the Link light rail is right downstairs. It whizzes by every few minutes with constant noise, continuing until almost 2 AM and starting up again around 4 AM. Overall, the hotel is just okay. For over $300, it's not great value for money, but mainly because everything is so expensive in the US. They charged a $30 destination fee, which they said could be used as a $20 credit for purchases. Plus, they charged $10 for hotel WiFi, which could also be used as a credit – thanks for nothing.

I booked this hotel bcos of location. The rooms are not sound proof, the guests who stayed next to our room were talking n laughing the whole night till the early hours of the morning . Only one elevator was working and the cleaners, hotel guests checking in and checking out with large luggages all have to take turns to use the elevator!!!

Great Location in downtown. It was easy to walk or jump on public transport to go wherever we wanted. Very clean, with a very young and hip vibe. Rooms were well taken care of and had everything we needed. Hotel prices were not expensive for what we got, great value! Parking was a little spendy, but a huge chunk of that was taxes so we would have paid it at other lots as well. No restaurant on site, but they did have a coffee bar with pastries and sandwiches. Across the street was an inexpensive coffee shop with great breakfast options too. We would definitely go back!

They upgraded our room upon arrival! The staff were very friendly and courteous. We had a beautiful view room overlooking the city on the 14th floor. The pullout couch bed is really only suitable for one child. Our oldest daughter took the couch bed and said it was very uncomfortable so we had everyone in the extra large king sized bed. The king size bed was very comfortable, and the mattress was soft. The room was relatively clean, although a little dusty. Probably because of the location and the age of the hotel. The room was fully stocked with water and snacks. The bathroom was extremely clean! Breakfast was not included, so we had a five minute walk to Starbucks. The concierge accommodated us with a $15 shuttle ride to the cruise ship dock. The shuttle service was excellent and they took care of all of our bags.

The location is fantastic! Stepping out of the hotel and seeing the ocean every time was a delightful surprise. It's super convenient to Pike Place Market, Chinatown, and the subway station. However, I wouldn't recommend it for older guests, as the daily uphill and downhill walks can be quite tiring due to the steep inclines. Facilities: Quite old. Hygiene: Average. Environment: Decent, but try to avoid rooms facing Avenue 6 due to highway noise. Service: Alright. The hotel offers free standard Wi-Fi, but there's a charge for high-speed internet. When we asked about internet, the front desk just said it was available. After checking in, we were charged an extra $3 per night. We inquired about it and were told it would be refunded. Both on the second day and the last day, they assured us the refund was processed in their system, but it never came through. Thankfully, Trip.com helped us resolve the issue. This experience reinforced that choosing Trip.com for international travel is always the right decision.

Went as a solo traveler. The room was very clean & hipster chic. The food at the attached Ben Paris restaurant was great! Everyone who worked there was incredibly nice & very helpful. Walking distance to so many great Seattle attractions: ferries, the Seattle Art Museum, Pikes Market, Under the Streets tour as well The Can Can Can Culinary Cabaret. The only drawback is the parking - like most older big city hotels there is no attached parking structure. The paid parking structure ($10-$32/day) is about 1 city block down from the hotel and is a bit sketchy if you are coming/ going at really late/early hours. All in all I would really recommend this hotel! I really enjoyed my stay there!

The hotel's front desk service is very good, the room is clean, and free bath salts are delivered to the room. When checking in, the front desk will give 2 bottles of water and a welcome drink. Guests will be provided with a free glass of red wine from 5 to 7 o'clock, and free delivery to nearby attractions. The location of the hotel is very convenient, there are bus stops and supermarkets within 100 meters. The room we stayed in this time also happened to have a little view of the Needle. Recommended for those traveling to Seattle to consider staying here.

The hotel itself was in a great spot (Royal Caribbean cruise customer) and was clean and pleasant. The staff accommodated our early check in request (we arrived around 1pm) which was terrific - didn't have to wait YAY!!! The rest of the staff were all wonderful except for the bar staff. We placed an order for drinks/snacks at the bar and then sat off to the side nearer the restaurant. We had to ask at least three times for our order and the bartender/server was abrupt and rather surly. Everyone else was wonderful.

The room is quite big, but the air conditioner is a bit loud. The quilt in our room has a smell. I guess it's too humid near the sea. I originally booked a room with a view, but they are all in the building. I guess we arrived too late and there were no rooms. I was a little disappointed, but the location of the hotel is really good. It's very close to Pike Place Market, Space Needle and boat rides. You don't need to drive. It's all within a 10-minute walk. There is a supermarket opposite and many coffee shops downstairs.

It took us quite a while to finally get into our room due to issues with the key cards not working. Had to make two trips from the 20th floor down to the front desk only to find out the problem was a low battery in the door lock. Once inside, we noticed the room wasn’t properly set up for four guests, as there weren’t enough towels provided. The bathroom design was also inconvenient. There are two sliding doors neither had locks, which makes privacy difficult. The air conditioning blew directly toward your face while lying on the bed, and the vents were too high to adjust. In addition, electric kettle, bathrobes, and slippers were not provided. On a positive note, the breakfast buffet was excellent. It offered a wide variety of choices, and the service was outstanding, making it a highlight of our stay.

Check-in was quite convenient, and the staff were very polite. The room's cleanliness was decent, though I'm not sure why the bathroom light wasn't working. I decided not to mention it as I was worried about communication issues due to the language barrier. We also paid $50 for a package for two people, which included Wi-Fi and two drinks but no breakfast, and there were no disposable toothbrushes or slippers. However, cups and towels were provided. Overall, I'd say it was pretty good.

1. Hotel location is excellent as it is close to Link Light Rail. 2. Receptionist upon our arrival for registration is not enthusiastic; and looked tired. Speaking with no energy. 3. Slippers and blankets are not available in the hotel room; and we have to ask for it at ground floor reception. 4. Call room service number at 11 pm and nobody answered; I have to walk down to the reception on ground floor for assistance. 5. No free bottled water is a shortcoming especially for late arrival guests; even 7-Eleven is a walking distance away from the hotel as nobody wanted to go out again. 6. Night shift reception staffs seem unwilling to greet guests entering the lobby at late night; they looked tired. Day shift staffs are much better and helpful.

The location is superb. I have rated this hotel down because they tell you at check in that tea, coffee and water are complimentary but also charge you a resort fee (when asked about this they said it’s for water, tea and coffee)…so not complimentary. This is only available in the lobby from 5-10am. If I’m going to be charged for this, it would be nice to keep it available at any point. The one lift remained out of order during my 4 day stay, which meant waiting at the elevator for 15 minutes on some days. They are very stingy with the shampoo and conditioner, using bottles that hardly dispense anything out of them which is frustrating. A city view room is of a wall of the neighboring building wirh a slight city view if you stand at an angle which is different from what is advertised.

Seattle's prices are really something else... $70 for parking, practically Hawaii prices... Or is Seattle even more expensive than Hawaii? But downtown is quite chaotic, and as a tourist, you don't really have a choice. It's just a standard Hilton double room. It's a bit of a walk to attractions, especially with Seattle's hills. However, the room price was relatively affordable. When traveling, I prioritize chain hotels.

The bed was too soft and saggy. Req for a foam pillow was forgotten. Bedroom slippers and kettle were not provided unless asked. 1 lift was down during our stay, housekeeping staff were using the only available guest lift. Stench from housing keeping trash filled the lift. Modern room, good location, poor water pressure. Toilet amenities were very medicore for the price. Hotel was willing to store my parcel prior to arrival. Airport transfer booked was prompt. Car valet was slow and very expensive.

This hotel's downtown location makes getting around incredibly convenient. The facilities are brand new, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic; I only managed to snap a photo of the first plate! It's also super easy to walk to Pike Place Market from here, where you can see the original Starbucks and explore the market with its fresh seafood. You can even find a restaurant there to sit down and try some. They also have all sorts of fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers, and handmade crafts. We were lucky enough to be there during the World Cup, and since the stadium is nearby, they had a big screen set up where you could join the crowd and experience the excitement. We caught the US team playing against Australia, and it was great to see everyone's joy after the US win. After the match, when we went to a nearby restaurant, we even saw fans who had traveled all the way from Australia, and the locals were warmly chatting with them. It was really interesting to see and experience a different side of Seattle during the World Cup.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Although the room was slightly small, it was comfortable and very clean. The ”technology” controlling the entire room took a little time to get used to. My only complaint was that throughout my stay (only 1 night), I was unable to get the TV to work !! The controlling mini ipad wouldnt seem to communicate with the TV beyond switching it on and off. Reception suggested I use the regular remote control, but still didnt work! I can live without the TV for one night but if longer I would have pursued the hotel to fix the problem. Other then that, I enjoyed my stay. Nice to have a laptop sized room safe. Note, there is no in-room coffee/tea making facility, but they are available down on the ground floor. Despite the TV problem I would stay again.

On the upside, it's diagonally across from the Central Library, which is convenient. You can also walk to Pike Place Market, though it's still a bit of a trek. The room itself is small but charming and well-equipped. It even comes with an extra yoga mat and a large mirror. They offer a wine and pizza social hour at 5 PM, and coffee and hot tea are available until 11 AM. Overall, I recommend this IHG property in the city center.

Although the location of the hotel is in downtown, it is not the best. It takes 6,000 steps to get to Pike Place Market. It was built in 1909. It can be seen that it is very old and not well maintained. I have lived in Italy Longer hotel, the cleaning is not very good, the room has a musty smell, but the serviceis very good,the staff at the counter are very friendly, the luggage delivery service staff and the valet car are also very good , People who like buildings with a sense of history recommend you to stay.

The seats in the hotel are great, right next to the Space Needle in Seattle. However, the soundproofing is a bit poor and the floor in the room makes strange noises. But the seats are really good. The weather in Seattle is very good.

Location is unbeatable - nearby Westlake Station (Exit A) of Link Light Rail, and Seattle Convention Centre. Walking distance to attractions (e.g., Pike Place Market, Space Needle) Very helpful & friendly staff: It was my first time to stay at a hotel with all staff (front desk, room service & other staff met in the hotel) are very warm and make me feel to be welcomed. minor comment: heating warm up the room automatically once a while but quite noisy.

The location is superb. I have rated this hotel down because they tell you at check in that tea, coffee and water are complimentary but also charge you a resort fee (when asked about this they said it’s for water, tea and coffee)…so not complimentary. This is only available in the lobby from 5-10am. If I’m going to be charged for this, it would be nice to keep it available at any point. The one lift remained out of order during my 4 day stay, which meant waiting at the elevator for 15 minutes on some days. They are very stingy with the shampoo and conditioner, using bottles that hardly dispense anything out of them which is frustrating. A city view room is of a wall of the neighboring building wirh a slight city view if you stand at an angle which is different from what is advertised.

The hotel is in a good location near the Space Needle and Climate Pledge as well as pubs, Lake Union and downtown. Next time I am in Seattle, I will book there again, but I will make use of the pool.

The two double beds were perfect for four people. The room was spacious enough for our three large and two small suitcases. The airport shuttle picked us up promptly after a phone call. The front desk provided hot water, coffee, and tea. Parking at the hotel was $13.5 per day, charged daily, not hourly. For airport pick-up, head to Zone 1B on the fourth floor of the terminal. The hotel's front desk phone number is on the side of the shuttle in the picture. It's only a 3-4 minute ride from the hotel to the terminal.

If you want to stay near downtown, this is probably the cheapest option. The hotel's location is great; downtown attractions are all within walking distance. Amazon Spheres are just one block behind, and there's a Whole Foods a few minutes' walk away, which is very convenient for groceries. This was my first time staying in a motel where the doors and windows face the corridor, and I was a bit nervous at first, but it felt quite safe in reality, though you do hear outside noise. The electronic facilities in the room are relatively new, and there are plenty of USB plugs. The bed is comfortable. Occasionally, some facilities are older but still clean.

Can't say that I would stay here again. First, the positives: Great location close to Pike Place and the train to get to Lumen. Front desk staff on arrival and leaving were friendly. Now the negatives: Sent an email a week ahead that never got answered. Ended up calling 2 days before arrival and asked about early check-in. No option for early check-in guarantee but was told ”wouldn't be a problem” to check in 2 hours earlier than the 4:00 standard. Finally got an email at 4:05 that our room was ready. Needless to say, it really messed up our plans. Second, walls are paper thin. Had some influencer type wake us up at 1am recording his vlog or whatever. The one pair of free ear plugs just didnt cut it. Thirdly, I understand it is an old building but the upkeep and maintenance was lacking. Fourth, absolutely no clothes storage at all. Fine for an overnight stay but for multi-night stays, it got tiring living out of the suitcase. Fifth, parking is $45 a night to self-park a block away. And finally, not sure if they are the same owners but the bar/restaurant downstairs for guests had HORRIBLY slow service. Definitely not a perk to staying here. All in all, 2 stars. Won't stay again.
