Property was very good but among the three(3) phone numbers given in booking slip, 1st one was not working, 2nd one( office number )was switched off, 3rd one ( resturant ) was ringing but no one there to pick up the phone, after waiting for more than 30 minutes and knocking the office door so many times ( closed that time) 2 stuff came and handed over the room to me. The dream ve to the location was peaceful. there were signs and boards to help us go in the right direction. the staff was polite and courteous right from the start to end.
the rooms were not like the normal hotel rooms but gave the feel of the urban look.we selected heritage tottimane which came with a balcony and mountain view. the bathroom and room were spacious with nice wooden cots and furniture
the toiletries were adequate.
the room has an electric kettle.
the ala carte lunch was tasty but the dinner spread could have been better.
the bf spread was good and we enjoyed it to the core.
the resort has a small swimming pool which was occupied by some or the other.
the indoor games and adventure trails were minimum.

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at machan plantation resort in sakleshpur and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautifully designed property and gracious staff. *accommodation: our deluxe room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchenette, a outside seating area with stunning views *amenities: the resort offered a fantastic range of amenities for all ages. There is a very well maintained game room with carrom, table tennis and other indoor games. The fish feeding activity in the resort ponds is an absolute delight for children. The coffee plantation walk conducted by nobi was extremely well done and was very informative. The evening bonfire and the documentary shows were particularly enjoyable in the chilly winter evenings. *food: the food definitely deserves special mention. Almost everything that we tasted here were nothing short of marvellous. The breakfast spread was vast and catered to every taste. Hats off to the chef! *service: the entire staff right from the restaurant to the front office were incredibly friendly, attentive, prompt and always went the extra mile to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I went to Hassan for a business trip. I stayed at the pearl for 1 night only. Overall it was a good experience to stay there.
Location: It was hard to find the location. I asked locals for the Pearl but no one knew about it. The Pearl was earlier known as 'The Southern Star' Hotel. They haven't changed the Neon sign above their building. After crossing the building twice, I searched for pics and saw the same building for the Southern Star and Pearl. At check-in, I came to know that they had changed their name in December 2022. They are still in process of changing their name everywhere.
Room: Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-lit. The toilet was clean too. Wi-Fi is ok. The mini fridge was empty and over priced snacks are there too.
Service: My room had electricity issues so I asked them to fix it. They came in a minute and were polite.
Food: The breakfast costs 200 pax. I didn't pay for that so I wouldn't comment on it.
Overall: They need to change their terrace neon sign immediately. Otherwise, it was a good experience. FromCAD 38
