This is the first hotel we stayed at when we arrived in Helsinki. We love the breakfast, they have the freshest vegetables and wide spread of breads, dishes, salads to choose. The location was ok, a short walk away from malls and cafes. Room was excellent. Cosy and comfortable for two persons. Toilet is clean and good except for the tape beneath the shower door, sometimes water from the shower can leak out to under the basin. We hope that the separate between the wet and dry areas work properly. There is a sauna facility for guests to use at limited timings. Overall, a pleasant experience!

This hotel is excellent, easily meeting five-star standards. The 7T tram stop is right at its doorstep, and on the other side, there's a picturesque harbor view. The top floor boasts a swimming pool and sauna, and the breakfast is a standard Western spread.

With a very cheap price for a hotel very closed to the central station, I can’t say any bad word. I booked a cheapest room with breakfast. It is a not luxury, but a small room which has everything and everything works fine. Beds are so soft and comfy, I slept really well. Breakfast is really good. I can’t believe this is a breakfast from a cheap hotel, much much better than many of pricey hotels I’d stayed.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Helsinki, and overall it was a great experience. The location is excellent - right next to Helsinki Central Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city by train, tram, or metro. It’s perfect for both tourists and business travelers. The hotel itself combines a classic and modern design. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, especially the bed. All essential amenities were well provided, including a fitness center and a traditional Finnish sauna. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the breakfast. There was a wide variety of options, from continental dishes to local Finnish specialties, and everything tasted great. The staff were friendly and helpful, although there were minor delays during busy times. Still, the overall service was very good. Summary: A highly recommended hotel in Helsinki thanks to: • Prime central location • Easy access to transportation • Comfortable rooms and great breakfast I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Helsinki.

Clean and new looking. Online check-in and check-out work well. Just be aware that you can online check-in even if your room is not available yet and no one will tell you when it is available — you will have to sit around and go to check the availability from the self-service check-in every once in a while. When I asked staff at the desk, they just said the check-in is at 16 and they don’t know about the availabilities and that I should try the self-service again in half an hour intervals. Breakfast was good, was hoping to find more fresh fruit and common breakfast drinks like orange juice and hot chocolate. The room could’ve had something to place shoes on, especially during winter all the snow just melted directly onto the floorboards.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Everything exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect—close to everything yet still quiet and comfortable. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The amenities were also great, offering everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable trip. As a couple, we especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere and thoughtful details. The location is the absolute best… right across the tram, few minutes walk to the train station and within walking distance to multiple parts of Helsinki city centre. The way to the room was an odd one, spooky, but as a Halloween lover I preferred it. My room was on the 5th floor, but to get to it you had to take the lift to the 3rd floor. THEN walk to a different part of the Marski building (it looked like the original perhaps before it expanded) to go to the 5th floor. There was a vintage style lift with the gate you had to close and everything. I quite enjoyed that. There is a mini fridge, a TV and the bed was comfortable. The AC was brilliant, especially on hot days and the shower was great as well. I accidentally booked on two separate ones and the desk helped me stay in one room with ease, though I understandably had to pay a bit of a fee as my current room was an upgrade from the other. My critique would be that I wish there was more attention to detail for the room service. It seems they don’t vacuum or replace the sheets/used cups, or properly clean, they only take out the bins. Also my room tag tore apart from previous stays overuse but it was never replaced — the one that says Do Not Disturb. I would absolutely stay here again, however. The Finns are great.

The hotel is a bit dated but was spotlessly clean. It's conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal. Nearby attractions such as Senate Square, the Synagogue, and the historic market are all within a 10-15 minute stroll. Our room had a comfortable bed, and we appreciated the complimentary sauna. The breakfast was outstanding – very generous and delicious, highly recommended. A minor point for improvement was the check-in process: Upon arriving around 11:30 AM, we were informed that our room was ready, but only if we paid an extra €20 for early check-in. Otherwise, it would be available at 1 PM as part of our standard booking. Also, in July, the air conditioning in our attic room struggled to keep the room cool.

However, the tablet in my room that controlled the TV and other devices seemed to be broken, but I didn't need to watch TV, so it didn't bother me. The hostel is perfect for travelers in search of a fair accommodation at the heart of helsinki city centre. It’s quite strange though that receptionists and hostel staff are almost never present and the only appearances were the one of the cleaning maid. The result is that guests don’t really communicate or interact no matter the huge living room and sofas and the fact that they all have to share the kitchen amenities. What happens is that the level of tidiness and accountability for the usage of mugs, plates, cutlery depends on your luck and the guests who check in each and every day. By the last day we had partygoers stopping only for a night out and cans of pepsi and a bottle of vodka were left on the common table (not sure if it was a shy invite to indulge) while the sink and the dishwasher were crammed with badly rinsed stuff. It’s a pity cause the common showers, the toilets and the rooms were fairly clean, we simply expected the typical hostel experience where you manage to socialize a bit more thanks to the staff.

The location was a little far from the station, and it was hard to push the carrier. However, there was a supermarket nearby, and many restaurants and second-hand stores, so it was convenient. I spent a few nights in one of the shared dorm and found the stay fairly good overall. The dorm was tidy, and it was useful that each bunk had a power socket. There was also a spacious locker for each guest, operated with the room key. I came across comments raising concerns about locker security, so that may be worth keeping in mind. There is a shared kitchen for guests to use. Having a supermarket directly below the hostel was very convenient, and public transport is close by, with a tram stop only a short walk away. Our family of three stayed at this hotel. One night, a family member suddenly fell ill. We were new to the area and very anxious, so we went to the front desk to ask about medical assistance. We are incredibly grateful to Sofi, a hotel staff member, who offered enthusiastic help after learning about our situation. She not only explained the emergency care procedures in detail but also kindly helped us call an ambulance 🚑. Thanks to Sofi's assistance, our family member was quickly taken to the hospital, received timely treatment, and their condition was stabilized. We were able to fly back home smoothly the next day. We extend our sincerest thanks to Sofi and the other hotel staff. In addition, the hotel's service and cleanliness were excellent. The room was spacious, and the breakfast was plentiful. The restaurant staff greeted us in Chinese every day, which felt very warm and welcoming. The hotel's location is also fantastic, with a bus stop and subway station right outside. The hotel is a bit far from Helsinki Central Station, but I could walk there without a suitcase. The nearby supermarket was very convenient. Although the building is large, having two elevators and several entrances made getting around very efficient, with no need for long detours. The room amenities were excellent, with a fridge, freezer, dishes, and an electric oven (microwave), plus a dishwasher. The free-to-use washing machine and dryer were also a great bonus. The self-service luggage storage before check-in and after check-out was very convenient and hassle-free. The only minor issue was that the self check-in process had many fields to fill out, making it a bit slow; it would have been better if I could have entered the information beforehand. I would definitely like to stay here again.

On the downside, the toilet had a very unpleasant smell, and the hostel is not especially close to the city centre.

Excellent stay at Scandic! The family room was a bit tight, but comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a lot of healthy choices, but same menu everyday. Close to downtown and very accessible to all major tourist attractions.
