Very nice hotel, just at the city center and close to all main attractions (national art museum, theater, train station, etc.). The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. There was a desk station, fridge, hair dryer, kettle and coffee. The shampoo and body lotion were very nice and smelled so good. The staff was welcoming and check in/check out process went smoothly. There's also free public sauna which was a big plus!

Very nice and welcoming staff! Nice wait staff in the restaurant too. Nice little room. Would definitely come back! The wellness area was a bit pricey for an add on but really nice and chill when quiet! I just would have liked a staff member there to manage noise and groups as I wanted to go on my last night but it was very overcrowded with loud intimidating groups. The location was pretty good, out of the centre but very accessible by tram.

Conveniently located, the lobby is spacious and well-decorated – a rare find in Europe. The breakfast was excellent and offered a great variety. The hotel has many rooms, and the hallways can be a bit winding. Our room was clean, with a stylish and minimalist design. There was an issue with the bathtub drain cover, making it impossible to shower while standing inside. Luckily, there was ample space and a drain next to the sink, so we managed to shower there for both nights.

The location is incredibly convenient, right next to the central train station – you can literally walk to the hotel in 10 meters. There are also bus and light rail stops right outside, which pretty much covers all the tourist spots you'd want to visit. The city center's busiest shopping district, with all its shops and restaurants, is also within walking distance. The hotel facilities are new, the rooms are spacious, and they even have a bathtub. Plus, there's a communal sauna available. For travelers visiting Helsinki in winter, after a day out in sub-zero temperatures, coming back to the hotel for a hot bath or a sauna is a lifesaver. It really helps warm you up and recharges you completely.

The hotel is a bit dated but was spotlessly clean. It's conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal. Nearby attractions such as Senate Square, the Synagogue, and the historic market are all within a 10-15 minute stroll. Our room had a comfortable bed, and we appreciated the complimentary sauna. The breakfast was outstanding – very generous and delicious, highly recommended. A minor point for improvement was the check-in process: Upon arriving around 11:30 AM, we were informed that our room was ready, but only if we paid an extra €20 for early check-in. Otherwise, it would be available at 1 PM as part of our standard booking. Also, in July, the air conditioning in our attic room struggled to keep the room cool.

Eurohostel has a very convenient location, making it easy to get around the city. I have traveled all over Europe, and this is honestly one of the top three best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious, with large lockers that are free to use, which is a big plus. There are three well-equipped kitchens, so cooking is easy even when the hostel is busy. In the morning, guests can enjoy a free sauna, which is an amazing bonus and quite rare for a hostel. The laundry and dryer are very affordable, much cheaper than most places in Europe. Overall, great facilities, excellent value for money, and a very comfortable stay. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to other travelers.

The area around the hotel seemed to be more of a business district with many companies, rather than a tourist spot. It's a bit of a distance from the city center, but it's within walking distance to the subway, and only one stop away from Kamppi, the city's central hub. You can enjoy sea views right from your bed; the beautiful scenery from the window was the biggest highlight of our trip and the main reason we kept extending our stay. The only downside was the housekeeping, which was quite disappointing. Even though we extended our stay, a thorough daily cleaning should still be expected, shouldn't it? There were coffee stains on the mugs, dirty spoons weren't replaced, and even urine stains on the toilet seat... Despite these issues, the value for money was still quite high. Helsinki truly stands out as the Nordic capital offering the best value for hotels, and I believe this hotel's excellent value significantly boosted my overall impression of the city.

I spent a few nights in one of the shared dorm and found the stay fairly good overall. The dorm was tidy, and it was useful that each bunk had a power socket. There was also a spacious locker for each guest, operated with the room key. I came across comments raising concerns about locker security, so that may be worth keeping in mind. There is a shared kitchen for guests to use. Having a supermarket directly below the hostel was very convenient, and public transport is close by, with a tram stop only a short walk away. On the downside, the toilet had a very unpleasant smell, and the hostel is not especially close to the city centre.

Besides Aalto's villa and studio, the Akseli Gallen-Kallela Museum, Didrichsen, Villa Gullenberg, and the former presidential residence of Tamminiemi are also nearby. We reached at midnight due to a delay in our flight, and there’s no staff around at all. After finding clues, we found out we had to check in on our own in the machines provided. There could have been better signage to point out this or chat to the travel agencies, especially during hours that there’s no staff around to prevent wasting time. There’s no cleaning given to the rooms on days 1& 2, and cleaning will be done on day 3, so if you stay just for 2 nights? Bummer like ours. However, to our surprise, the trash bin in the toilet was not cleaned, and there’s even blood there! It was a very unpleasant experience for us. It’s one thing not to clean for 2 nights, but at least make sure everything is properly cleaned! We found out on our own also that there’s free storage, but you had to activate it correctly before checking out; otherwise, it would not work. Thankfully, we found out about this on time; otherwise, we would incur charges and hassle to keep our luggage in luggage services elsewhere since we would not be able to keep things inside the room without a card issued by the machine. Again, it’s one thing to do everything automatically, but you must inform customers first on this. Hotel location was great. Not so far from metro and tram station. At midnight, tram was still working from the central station to the hotel side thankfully as metro has closed for the day. I have not tried the metro since tram is more convenient to go to the sightseeing places.

Great places, only had one roommate super peaceful hostel, ferry was absolutely on time so make sure you schedule yourself for that otherwise it’s a solid 40 mins wait in winter.
