Waikiki Honolulu|5.09km from city center
I've stayed at three hotels in Hawaii, and this one was the cleanest. The room size was a bit smaller compared to other hotels, but it was fine. Since it was Christmas, they were giving out hot chocolate in the lobby, which was delicious.
It's very close to the beach, and the pool is nice and pretty, but for beach equipment rentals, you have to go to a place quite a distance away, not the hotel itself. That was a bit inconvenient.
Also, the pool water was a little dirty.
Using the washing machine here was great, as it was $3 compared to $6 at Marriott.
When I checked in, Japanese staff helped me, but I was a bit disappointed that they kept talking to each other in Japanese and didn't provide enough information about using the hotel facilities.SOLD OUT

This was my first time at this hotel. I guess it can't be helped considering the location, but I chose a corner deluxe room, which was a little different from the photos on the website, and the ocean was visible between the buildings. I chose this hotel because it included breakfast, but the breakfast was average. The building felt old and dark.From€130

Waikiki Honolulu|3.15km from city center
We stayed at this hotel from October 29 to November 4. Overall, the staff was polite and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided — which we appreciated. However, several issues significantly affected our experience.
First, the accessible bathroom we specifically booked did not match the photos. There was no handheld shower head, which was important for us. Second, the mirror in the hallway was noticeably dirty upon arrival, with visible streaks from a wet cloth — quite unpleasant for a hotel of this level.
I also reported that the faucet in the sink splashed water everywhere, soaking the countertop and the floor. I was told the issue would be checked, but nothing was fixed throughout our stay. The two-faucet system used to regulate water in the bathroom was also very inconvenient, and we consistently had problems with unstable hot water pressure.
A separate major issue was the parking. I prepaid and reserved parking for 5 days, but on the second evening all the spots were already taken, and I was simply instructed to park in a different building nearby. This was extremely inconvenient — having to carry things from the 3rd floor of another parking structure and waste additional time. It turned out that even if you pay in advance, your parking spot is not guaranteed — anyone from outside can take it. So you pay, but end up without the service you were promised.
Overall, the staff tried to provide good service, but the organizational issues, maintenance problems, and poorly managed parking system seriously reduced our comfort. Unfortunately, after this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.From€151

Hotel personnel and services were friendly and prompt. The hotel was kept very clean, including the two rooms we booked. Our rooms had beautiful views of the beach, and you could walk on beach right out of hotel, very nice! There are many great restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Another plus, Starbucks is located on the hotel premises. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would love to stay here on another trip except we did not anticipate the $60 a day valet parking because parking is very limited in Waikiki. Maybe other hotels have limited parking - I don't know; however, hopefully, others will find free or cheaper parking options when staying at this hotel.From€287

Waikiki Honolulu|3.84km from city center
Had a solo day trip and wanted to try Hotel La Croix because they had a penthouse room for under $300.
The front desk staff were helpful and very eager and upbeat in a friendly way compared to other places where it seemed more forced or fake.
Skyline Penthouse only had a city view and it was decent sized for the price. King sized bed with a massive tv across of it. Bathroom was around the corner of the tiny kitchenette area. My only complaint would be that the room did need some touching up. For example the manually operated push button curtains were frayed, torn and crumpled in some areas which were noticeable.
The bathroom though clean, had some wear on the sink’s finish and there was a flapping panel on the wall near the toilet. Minor things but it didn’t help make the penthouse seem as exclusive.
Location wise though it is walking distance to high end shopping, restaurants and the beach. It’s adjacent to more expensive hotels like the Ritz Carlton, so it’s a budget option in a great spot without having to break the bank for rooms.From€121

Waikiki Honolulu|5.32km from city center
There was no bottled water in the room, but I asked a staff member in the hallway for one. Water refills were available on the first and third floors (where the lobby and pool are), and ice was conveniently available on each floor.
I booked the breakfast option, which included choosing one of three daily menu items. Fruit, bread, and drinks were served buffet-style, but I felt like the selection could have been a bit larger. I stayed for two nights, Friday through Sunday, and on the first Saturday morning, I arrived after opening time, so I ended up waiting in line and sharing a table.
On Sunday morning, I arrived before opening time, but they were already open. I think they probably opened early on Saturdays as well. So I recommend going early.
There are plenty of places to eat outside the hotel, so I'm glad I didn't book breakfast included.
The building was apparently renovated about three years ago, but it's old, and the door would have closed unless I pushed it from the inside. lol. But thanks to that, it was relatively affordable for Waikiki, so I was able to book an ocean view room! Although it is located on the outskirts of Waikiki, there is a Pink Line bus stop right in front of the hotel, which is convenient, and there is a breakwater right across the road to the beach, so you can swim in the shallow water safely. I recommend it as a beach location.From€167

The balcony had a city view, but the view was terrible and it didn't feel like a resort at all. If you're staying here, I recommend the Diamond Head view. It was clean, but for this price I should have tried harder and stayed at the Hilton. The view from the pool is the best.SOLD OUT

Ko'Olina Resort Honolulu|27.36km from city center
Except that the price is a bit expensive, everything else is satisfactory! Since it is a timeshare vacation club hotel, the suites basically come with a kitchen and all Western cooking utensils, everything you need! There is also a washing machine and dryer. The seaside environment is beautiful, the climate is pleasant, and the scenery is everywhere. The hotel faces its own lagoon (lagoon), which is very comfortable for swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling (the sea water is a bit cold now, so you need a little courage when you first go into the sea! It will be fine in a while!). The three outdoor swimming pools are suitable for children to the elderly to play and swim, and are equipped with hot water massage pools and saunas (dry steam, wet steam). In short, this hotel is very suitable for couples, couples, second and third generations to travel together! In addition, there is a difference between sea view rooms and mountain view rooms, but they can also be balanced by spending more time outdoors. It is recommended that friends who have been to Waikiki Beach in Honolulu give this place a try, you will definitely have a different feeling!From€460

Waikiki Honolulu|5.02km from city center
The biggest selling point is the unbeatable ocean view. Personally, I feel the ocean view room offers the best value for money. Although it's not a 360-degree view, the ocean view from my balcony is already very good. I always rushed back to the balcony for lunch. The hotel is opposite Waikiki Beach, and the main street is downstairs, so you can get takeout to eat on the balcony. There's a microwave and unlimited bottled water downstairs.
The bathroom is a bit small; larger people might have difficulty turning around.
The biggest regret is that the popular restaurant downstairs doesn't accept reservations from mainland China mobile phones. I don't know if it's affiliated with the hotel.From€127

Waikiki Honolulu|3.27km from city center
I had a wonderful stay here.
First off, the location is absolutely fantastic: the W line is right outside the door, making it incredibly convenient to get to the airport, Pearl Harbor, and the International Market. There are plenty of dining options and ABC stores nearby, and the Hilton hotel beach is directly across the street, easily walkable. We went there every day to play in the sand, enjoy the sea breeze, and watch the sunset – it was so much fun! 🥳
The room itself was very spacious. Although the facilities are a bit older, everything you need is there, including a fridge and a microwave. The only minor issues were that the fridge and air conditioner sometimes made noise, but it wasn't a major disturbance. However, light sleepers might want to consider this. The hotel rooms are very quiet, with no noisy commercial streets nearby, which was perfect.
On the second floor, there's a free water dispenser, an ice machine, and washing machines, which would be very convenient for longer stays.
The front desk staff were also very nice. Overall, it was a very pleasant check-in experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.From€121

The hotel has over the last couple of years been refurbished by new owners. The pool area is now better maintained and has dedicated staff who are present at all times. The pool is large snd nicely situated. The point of difference is the shade provided by numerous umbrellas and some shade trees. There is also bar and food service to your deckchair. The rooms are midsized suitable for two people and have a good sized lanai. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathroom is compact with shower over bath. Room lighting is dimmable and kettle available upon request. A safe is provided. A criticism would be the small fridge, 6 cans, a milk and a couple of yoghurts is about it. This is the best budget end hotel in Waikiki but budget still unfortunately isn't cheap these days. Overall an enjoyable stay with pool crew being the icing on the cake.From€126

Having breakfast included was a great help. We enjoyed the custom omelets made for us. The pool also had a hot jacuzzi, which was perfect for enjoying with the kids without getting too cold. The location is excellent, and Beachwalk felt safe, making it convenient for shopping and dining. Eating acai bowls from Il Gelato on Beachwalk by the poolside was the absolute best! It was also great that the mineral water was always restocked and kept chilled. The room was just the right size for our family of four. We booked a city view category, but we could still see the ocean, and the frequent rainbows over the mountains truly showcased the beauty of Hawaii! The front desk staff at check-in were very helpful, clearly explaining the hotel's system, which we really appreciated.From€198

Waikiki Honolulu|3.48km from city center
The Rainbow Tower is perfect for a family of four, with two spacious queen-sized beds (1.5 meters wide). This tower is one of the newer buildings within the Hilton property. A higher floor offers better views. We were on the 30th floor (upgrading to an ocean view room costs an additional $65 per day, which we didn't do). Facing directly towards the Reef Island, and with half the ocean visible, it’s a 'semi-ocean view' and still offers excellent vistas.
On the day we checked in, there was some small trash left in the toilet that hadn't been cleaned. We were too late and tired to call the front desk, but when we returned from our outing the next day, it had been thoroughly cleaned, and the beds were made (we left a dollar tip each day we went out).
There's no kettle in the room, nor is drinking water provided. Bring a cup, and you can get water from the purifiers downstairs. There's a coffee machine, but the water inlet had a lot of scale, so it didn't look very clean, and we didn't use it.
**Convenience:** The beach is right downstairs, along with several swimming pools. It's super convenient to be able to get back to the room for a shower within 5 minutes after playing in the water.
**Dining:** Across from the Rainbow Tower is Tropics Bar & Grill, which serves breakfast and lunch. It's a bit more expensive than outside the hotel, but the food is good. Coffee here is $6 with unlimited refills, and you can even take a cup to go when you leave. For kids who don't like meat, I recommend the pancakes. For meat-lovers, try the Sunrise Sando. Their signature Tropical Acai Bowl is a smoothie made from blended berries and ice, topped with granola, banana, and strawberries. It tastes a bit like ice cream and is great for cooling down after sun exposure.
There's also an excellent ice cream shop in the hotel; the line starts forming around 5 PM, and one scoop costs $7.99.
**Shopping:** There's an ABC Store right in the hotel, where you can buy just about anything. I compared prices, and they weren't much different from outside the hotel. There's also a cookie shop where you can sample before buying. They offer local specialties, perfect for souvenirs.
**Friday Fireworks:** There are fireworks on Friday night. While simple and short, watching them from the beach is still very enjoyable. They start at 7:45 PM, so go early to the beach by the lagoon island to get a front-row spot for a clearer view.
**Tips:** Keep the small card you receive at check-in handy; you can use it to get free towels on the beach.
If you have kids, definitely take them to the children's pool next to the Rainbow Tower. It has three waterslides and two small hot spring pools – kids can play there all day.From€220

We stayed at the one of the Historic Banyan King Room with City View for 4 nights, room was conveniently located in the main building, doesn’t come with a balcony, but has 2 windows. It gets noisy sometimes at night even though we stayed on the 4th floor. The resort also offers a list of cultural and wellness activities for booking, this is where the resort fee goes to, so make sure you book some of these activities if time permits. The room was spotless on arrival could still smell the cleaning agent. The room was spacious two queen beds small balcony with table n 2 chairs. Tv/fridge/dvd player all great. Rent a dvd option is great lots to choose from. Just make sure you return it. 8/10
The iron however must not get used or inspected as when we went to use this it spit out black gunk and grit. So be careful with that. We did call for a new one and someone came within 20 minutes gave us a new one and took the old one.
The lady cleaning our room was fantastic! she was there 9 out of 10 days of our stay nothing was too much trouble, we gave her a great tip for all her hard work! 10/10
The pool area does not get the sun all day so if you are a sun worshipper be aware there is times the pool area is fully shaded but it is clean - we were there December 3-13 and there was no fighting for a bed so to speak. In the height of summer that could be an issue. The pool area has 2 cabanas ($100) and 6 day beds ($45) these are an extra charge and were never used by anyone in our 10 day trip. Extra loungers that are free would be much more useful to customers in such a small space in our opinion. There is a small smokers section for those who need it. The pool bar offers drinks and snacks the service was friendly and efficient it is cashless so need card or phone with you unless you charge to room. The food menu was okay price wise (chicken tenders and fries $18) the drinks prices are elevated but i guess that is expected in the hotel bar (bucket of 4 small cans of beer or seltzer 330ml ish $25) 7/10
You can collect you pool towels at the pool using ur room card but Be aware that you have to return your towels as there is a $25 fee if you do not.
We used the main stairs daily unfortunately these do not get cleaned as often as you would think. We reported spill marks on the main stairs on the second day. It was like someone spilled their cup of tea or coffee, 9 days later the spillage marks are still there. To some this might seem pedantic but this hotel is a Hilton costing approximately (AUD $3967) (USD $2580) (GPB £1929) for 10 nights bed n breakfast a clean lobby and staircase should be standard. 1/10
Be aware they offer grand vacation timeshares in their lobby unless you want to waste 1/2 a day of your holiday do not sign up it is not only 2 hours. Also do not let the staff “inflate” your income to make you eligible to sign up. They Conservatively start from USD $30,000 so if you have that to invest in your future holidays this will get you the lowest levels of Hilton timeshare points available. This is pushed in the lobby while you enquire about day trips out. 1/10
Breakfast which was included in the cost of our stay was basic there was not much variety but there was fresh fruit each day. 5/10
Overall our stay was a 7/10From€162

Waikiki Honolulu|4.34km from city center
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right on Waikiki's main shopping street, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. We had a bit of a wait during check-in, but it was worth it as we ended up with an ocean-view room on the top floor. The views were expansive and the ocean scenery was absolutely stunning! Even more surprisingly, when I woke up the next morning and opened the window, I saw a rainbow – very lucky indeed!From€373

Very good! It is the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. Although it is not so luxurious, the people and environment here make you feel very comfortable. It is very suitable for vacation. There are shops and a private swimming pool right outside the hotel, which is very convenient. The valet parking staff were very nice. Highly recommended.From€473

The location is excellent, with the beach, shopping, and restaurants just steps away. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a chic, Hawaiian atmosphere.
The staff were also very kind and always greeted us with a smile.
It was a truly luxurious experience to enjoy the view from the balcony while feeling the ocean breeze in the morning. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to fully enjoy Waikiki. I'll definitely stay here again.From€228

I usually book with the Marriott down the street whenever I’m in Waikiki but I opted to try the Hyatt for the first time; it was also a little cheaper than the Marriott the day that I went.
I got a King room with a city view on the 7th floor. The room was large, clean and one of the corners of the tower so it had a curving layout.
Overall the room was clean, bed was comfortable, A/C was cold. My only little gripe was in the bathroom, there weren’t any shampoos or conditioners or body wash in the tub like other hotels.
Can’t say much for service since I was only there for a day but the employees I did interact with were friendly and helpful.
Definitely would stay there again.From€202

As soon as I entered my room, I was struck by the stunning marina view.
The hotel is old, but the rooms have been beautifully renovated, so even picky Korean guests will be satisfied.
The pool and view are beautiful, and you can even see the Hilton fireworks every Friday. I highly recommend it. Ala Moana Shopping Mall is also within walking distance.From€214

The hotel is about 20 minutes' walk from Waikiki Beach. But next to it is a big park, and there is also a beach. There are much fewer tourists than Waikiki, and it is quieter and suitable for sitting there to enjoy the sea view. There is also an army exhibition hall, which is also worth seeing. There is a bus stop on the road opposite the hotel gate, which is very convenient for travel. There are also two convenience stores next to it. The room is large, and you can enjoy the city view from the balcony (if it is a high floor, you should be able to see the beach). The only thing to complain about is the air conditioner, which is placed on the ground and makes a lot of noise. It can only be turned off when sleeping at night, but fortunately it is not summer. Overall, this hotel is good and worth recommending.From€121

The room of 5,000 yuan a night didn't even have a welcome fruit plate. I stayed for four nights. On the last night, the landline in the room kept ringing, and it rang six or seven times. People were stupid once in an hour. I didn't sleep well with my child. At six o'clock in the morning, I went to the front desk to find someone to argue. My English was not very good, so I asked the guide for help me and the front desk theory. I asked for a free late check-out and didn't sleep well. The hotel agreed to check-out until 6:00 p.m. Compared with other hotels, this is a better hotel in Oahu. Overall, I can only give 6 points. Maybe my requirements are too high. The service attitude of living in Bulgali hotels at this price in China is still very different. There will be a lot of gifts.From€529

The room comes with a kitchen, fully equipped with cookware, glassware, tea sets, a microwave, induction hob, juicer, and even a rice dispenser. They even give you a sports water bottle, which is super thoughtful for all the water activities. The hotel is right by a fantastic beach and a prime shopping area. The service is incredibly nice too; they offer free valet parking. When we came back to the hotel with lots of shopping bags, the staff had big shopping bags ready for us at the entrance. Such small details show how much thought they put into everything. It's really excellent!From€338

Check-in and check-out were smooth, the towels and slippers were thick and fluffy, and the small details were well thought out, which made my heart full. My children also said that the hotelier at the Halekulani was the kindest and most impressive, so it was the best. Next time, I want to stay from the first day.From€496

First of all, I want to praise Ctrip's customer service. On the day of check-in, the hotel said that the order had not been received. I contacted Ctrip's customer service and it was resolved within 30 minutes. It should have been early morning in China at that time. I really appreciate the speed of the customer service.
The hotel is relatively new, and the sea view room I booked has a nice view. Then the front desk is still very friendly, and any problems can be solved quickly. The flight arrived in the morning local time, but I was checked in immediately, and they took the initiative to help me accumulate Marriott points.
The biggest problem is housekeeping. On the day of check-in, I felt that the sheets were not new, and I could see a little shoe print and hair at the end of the bed. But I was too tired that day and didn't care. The next day when I was going to take a bath, I found that the wall of the bathtub was covered with mud, and it was obvious that it had not been wiped.
When the cleaning lady came in, I asked to change the sheets and wipe the bathtub. The old lady told me that I had to apply to the front desk to change the sheets. So when I went out, I told the front desk about the sheets and bathtub again, but the front desk's response was obviously that the cleaners should change the sheets automatically. . . Then when I came back at night, I found that the sheets had been changed, but the bathtub was still not cleaned!!! Maybe because I wiped it a little the night before, the cleaner thought it was clean. But when I returned to the room, I found that the bathtub was still full of my hair that I had lost that morning. I left a $5 tip. But to be honest, the room you gave me was not clean, so why should I get more tips?
Other minor issues were that the shower water pressure was not good. And maybe because of environmental protection, there was no mineral water in the room, and there were no other supplies except two cotton pads. But you can call the front desk to ask for bathrobes and slippers for free.
The hotel has been open for less than a year, and the maintenance feels average. At best, it is a business hotel. If you are on vacation, apart from the problem of traffic jams, it is recommended to stay in Waikiki.From€162

This was my second stay there after a 8-year hiatus.
Perhaps due to the influence of the SDGs, the amenities had been significantly reduced. There were only toothbrushes and mouthwash, and hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided in the room.
What's more, the mouthwash had its cap open before I even used it, so I was afraid to use it.
For now, all the food, drinks, and souvenirs were very expensive at Aura prices...
However, the kids had a great time, so I'd like to go again. From€481

I told them it was my parents' wedding anniversary, and they gave me welcome champagne and chocolate strawberries as a happy anniversary.
I asked for additional towels and water, and they brought them right away.
There were no participants for the 6:30 a.m. yoga class, so I took the class alone twice. Although it cost an additional $20, it was not a waste at all. I want to come again next time.From€846

Overall, had a nice stay and can recommend it! The room was just the right size, really nice bed and fairly well equipped. Would've liked some additional amenities and a kettle but got it sent up to the room after a quick request to the front desk.
The immediate vicinity of the hotel has what you might want, a bunch of supermarkets and restaurants and isn't too noisy.
Would've been a perfect stay if it wasn't for the construction ground blocking the view to the ocean (no bigger issue with noise, in case someone would be concerned).
Oh, also the gym present on the premises was much more well equipped than I would've expected and should be enough for the typical gym rat to flex a little bit before going to the beach(not enough for a serious session ofc).From€178

It’s adjacent to more expensive hotels like the Ritz Carlton, so it’s a budget option in a great spot without having to break the bank for rooms.

Chose it for the airport pick up/drop off, what a pleasant surprise. Great receptionist, she got me into a room early after a long overnight flight. The service was respectful and helpful. I’d stay there again.
