This is one of the best hotels for this self-driving trip. The view facing the bay is excellent. There are many antique furnitures in the hotel that are worth admiring. The food is also good. I specifically measured the latitude outside the hotel.

Beautiful hotel & restaurant in a perfect location looking out over the bay. The owner and staff were absolutely excellent, very friendly and hospitable to weary travellers.
I had to leave at 5am thanks to the ferry company letting me down and having to re-book a stupidly early ferry on to the Orkney Isles, so I couldn't check out as normal and arranged with the owner to leave the room key at the unmanned reception desk before normal operating hours.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view was absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel has a charming classic style that gives it a unique character and elegant atmosphere. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a relaxing and pleasant stay, and we would happily return in the future.

Great spot, friendly service, clean and comfy. Included breakfast a bonus! And plenty of deer and great beaches.
Would be great to offer a booking at the local pub for food ( which is an issue in the smaller Highlands towns we've discovered). After a solid booked out (which feels like bugger off we don't want you) at the local inn a nice 5 minute walk away, followed by a 12 minute drive to the next pub (same response), a local put us onto the local Chinese takeaway (yum!) a 5 minute drive to the other end of Gairloch. So recommend that staff mention that to hungry arriving travellers as a good option.
