We had a fine stay overall. The highlights were definitely the location and the facilities - the rooftop pool, BBQs and sauna are fantastic. However, the rooms felt a bit outdated with musty carpets and older furniture. We were also surprised by the lack of some basics - no soap, fresh towels or kitchen supplies were provided. Great for a dip in the pool, however, the rooms could use an update.

Great location even though you need to drive rather than walk to the cafes and restaurants. The 3 bedroom apartment didn't meet our expectations as the lounge couches and outdoor couches were uncomfortable, so they weren't great to use, the pillows were all very flat so it was hard to get a good night sleep. Also TV is internet locked even though there is WiFi so we weren't able to login to our Apple ID account to watch a movie. The unit was clean and neatly presented but our 3 day weekend getaway wasn't as restful as we hoped. Kirra Beach is great location but we wouldn't book this one again.

The best one in Australia for more than a month, the invincible sea view, the kitchen weapons, the bed is not bad, although only live for two days, but I will not bother to live for a week, when you enter the house, you will feel full of relaxation.

Unfortunately the one bedroom we stayed in was not up to standard. It had the previous persons rubbish in it and the hand towel and 2 pillowcases were dirty. We also saw small ants but thought nothing of and killed them off……  We got those replaced, but woke up to the kitchen floor saturated. Worked out the fridge was leaking. Maintenance came and said there is nothing they can do, they have always had trouble with it. So we were given extra bath mats to soak up the floor.  Went to cook breakfast… got the frying pan out. It was disgusting.  Back to the ants… woke up the next morning to hundreds of ants on the kitchen bench, inside cupboards and into the bin. Lucky nothing was left out or open. Again went to reception and were given extra bin bags and some bug spray.  Very disappointed considering how much i paid.

The Mantra is in a great location, right across from the beach, close to restaurants, shops etc. The unit we stayed in would’ve been a nice unit once upon a time but it’s in need of some maintenance work and a good spring clean. The bedroom window in the main bedroom was very dirty and had lots of cobwebs as well as dirt on them. The curtains were also broken at the end in every bedroom too. The sink in the ensuite had a blocked drain so every time you used it it filled up with water very quickly as is was a very shallow basin, there was a black ring of mould around the plug hole which could be cleaned with a bit of bleach and a brush. The cutlery drawer in the kitchen was filthy too, seriously it’d take ten minutes to clean the tray in the drawer. There was a lot of dirt on the ceiling in the living area as well as on the balcony ceiling as a glass panel at the end was filthy, obviously never been cleaned. For the price it was a bit of a ripoff I feel.

Seems to be some issues with parking bay allocation but overall was an excellent get away, will be going back soon.

Our check in was on a Saturday. Reception is not manned for weekend check ins - received a text with a code to the key safe at the front door which contained envelopes for guests checking in. The envelopes contained two sets of keys and fobs, plus instructions for parking and access. After parking the car we made our way to our unit on the fifth floor, using the fob. In the unit, was a well appointed kitchen, living room with dining table and chairs, lounge chairs and large screen TV. The bedroom had a king size bed and side tables, a two door wardrobe, and a small adjoining ensuite. The location of the Meridian Tower was excellent - across the road from the beach, and close to several restaurants and cafes.
