Nicely clean. Well kept up establishment. Spacious room with micro and mini freg with freezer compartment. Sink basin was separate from tub area. Laminate floors that meet the bedroom area carpet had an exposed tack bar that made for no going bare foot in our room. Comfy bed w plush linens and a super chenille throw at the foot of the bed gave a great nights sleep. The included breakfast was coffee, great selection of hot teas, oatmeal packets with an apple or orange. We didn't try the on location restaurant. Area has very limited food. The pool/hot tub open to the night air was niffty. The hot tub was hot and pleasing to sit in with a view of a pasture that give a whiff of natural smells in the evening air. We were pleased with our stop here and it lived up to expectations. It had interest!

Based on the other reviews, I can only assume that we had really bad luck with our room?! Our experience was terrible. The hotel is mediocre as it is, but our room was downright catastrophic. The wallpaper was peeling off, there was mold on top of the shower tiles and bugs in the bathtub. Everything was dated and in really bad shape. We did not feel comfortable whatsoever. It's one of the very few accommodations in the area, so maybe they feel like they don't have to provide a decent standard in every room because people don't have much of another choice. However, I'd expect to find conditions like these in a cheap $50/night roadside motel, not a fairly expensive $200/night Spa Hotel. Staff wasn't too welcoming either. The guy at the frontdesk was reading a book when we checked in and seemed a little bothered by our presence. Housekeeping entered our room multiple times, disturbing our sleep, despite us having told them we had a late checkout. Breakfast was pre-packed oatmeal?! We were really disappointed. Based on this experience, I can absolutely not recommend staying here. Honestly, I'd seriously consider sleeping in my car before checking into this hotel again.
