The price of accommodation is indeed a bit high in terms of facilities, but it does include one day's dinner and breakfast, which I think is reasonable. The breakfast is decent and the portion is a bit large. The entrance to the gate is not obvious. If there is a yacht in a hotel by the harbor, it will be more noticeable.

We have stayed 2 nights in Chateau. Though the hotel is not new, but everything is well maintained. We spent a great time there. Every staff there is friendly and helpful. We participated some extra activities (Paper cutting, Archery, and golfing. ),Everything is fun when you get together with family/friends. Especially, we invited an Amercian friend with us, she had very good impression about hotel too. Will recommend other travelers if Chateau offer some meal plans, it's really valuable. (Will suggest Chateau :The buffet - breakfast, dinner can be improved if possible).

The hotel is really nice and well located. If you take the tourist bus from Zuoying it stops right outside the hotel. However they do have their own free shuttle bus from the station, which we only realised when we left haha. Unfortunately the typhoon had hit when we came to Kenting so I can’t say anything about the beach or outdoor facilities. Breakfast was really good. Huge spread. They had a salad section, a bakery section, fruit section, hot food section, cereal, and even make your own noodles too. So good! In the basement they even have mahjong rooms, pool tables, table tennis, some video games and a soft play area for children. There are two restaurants: a Thai hot pot restaurant and the bar restaurant which has the typical bar foods in it, fried food, pasta fried rice etc. but the prices are a little high so I’d recommend just walking into the town to eat at the restaurants there! Staff were very lovely and very helpful.

I think there is a distance from the parking lot of the hotel to the lobby, but there is a shuttle bus where you can take it. When you get off the bus, there will be service staff to help you carry your luggage, and you will enjoy VIP-like service. All the service staff are very nice and polite, and the service is also very good. There are singers singing in the evening, which is very exciting, and there are free cocktails, drinks, and cookies. Afternoon tea includes Starbucks coffee and cakes, which is a bit expensive.

The overall facilities are a bit old. If the guest is confirmed to check in, the small refrigerator in the room should be plugged in first, the bed should be clean, and the room should not have any odor. Stayed here because we were participating in the Ironman 70.3 Kenting. Perfect for the race as the start, transition and finish are all within the hotel. We got a room on the first floor which proved to be the most ideal as it is on the same level as breakfast, the race expo as well as the finish area. However if you prefer a quiet room, then ask for a different floor. Rooms are very large and amenities are generously provided. Despite the size of the property, staff are efficient and very helpful.
