It was a small hotel and access to the main location was good. All-you-can-drink water and coffee, and you can eat simple bread, yogurt, etc. in the morning. The staff was also very nice.

This hotel is my favorite hotel in Florida. The hotel is not big, but the location is super good, just beside the sunset square. I was lucky enough to live in the best location of this hotel. The balcony is just outside the swimming pool and the Pacific Ocean. Invincible, I feel like I lived in the best location of the whole island. The room number is 316. If I can go to live, I can call to book this room. I will see the sun-filled bed and balcony in the afternoon. This feeling is so good, I regret that the itinerary arranged on this island is short.

Overall very good, the room can see the sea, the scenery is beautiful, but can not see the sunset, downstairs is Mallory Square, a bit noisy, the pool can see the sunset at the beach, but the sunset is also on the island, can not see the sunset at sea, I don't understand why so many people want to watch the sunset here, a little disappointing... The restaurant is good, the service is very good, there is no free parking, only the valet parking, the charge is 25 knives, and the parking is subject to tipping.

Fantastic stay. Levi at front desk was so accommodating. Showed me two available rooms and let me choose. Actually walked with me to the rooms. We weekend in the Keys every couple months,and it’s been a long time since we’ve encountered such friendly service. Kudos to Levi.  It was our first time staying at the Pier House. We will definitely be back. Thank You Pier House. We had a great time.

The hotel facilities are good, there is a swimming pool, and there is a small beach, but I only gave breakfast to 2 people out of the 3 people, which is drunk, the breakfast is also average, there are few varieties, there is a parking space, and it is not close to the main street. Overall, the cost performance is not high, there is no way that the hotels on the island are expensive.

I can honestly say I have never left a negative comment for a hotel but this was a real let down. For the amount of money that we paid to stay a this hotel, we were very disappointed. Our room was extremely small - our closet was a half size closet because of a refrigerator at the bottom - no even tall enough for my husbands shirts to fall without being wrinkled, let alone no room for dresses. No dresser or drawers in the room for clothes as well - just two small nightstands. The water pressure in the room shower was non existent - and the pool located at the Avalon House bleached both mine and my husbands bathing suits about 4 shades lighter - and not cheap suits either, good quality fabrics. Come to find out one of the other couples we vacationed with also had her suit bleached out and was offered a $150 credit for her suit - we were never offered any kind of credit, so I guess I didn't say something to the right person. Oh well - lesson learned, we will not be returning to this hotel.

This hotel is a kind of more lively hotel, just at the cruise terminal. In the morning breakfast, there will be cruise ships of major cruise companies coming and parked, and will drive away in the afternoon! The hotel's people are all foreign friends and buddies come together for a holiday party, the pool is very lively, the pool view room will be noisy at night! Sea view room is ok! I feel that it is not so suitable for a family to bring children, if a few families bring children together! It's convenient to go anywhere, needless to say! But to say that it is convenient, there is not much in the center of Key West, which is very convenient! The hotel is good because of its location, so the price is not high! Nothing else to say, the service level is first class! Sea view room can see the setting sun!

The location is good and you can watch the sunset in the hotel's open-air bar. Parking fee (parking building next to the hotel): 20 knives for stop, valet parking and 25 knives for luggage. Ctrip Online stated that the price includes taxes and fees, but the hotel also charges the tax when paying. After the report to Ctrip, the hotel feedback price does not include tax and does not refund the fee. Under the coordination of Ctrip, the agent The tax is borne.

The front desk was wonderful, room was good, pool area very nice. The problem was the cleaning crew. We wanted to stay until checkout at 11:00, as our flight didn’t leave until 2:30. At 10:00, two cleaning ladies with their cart parked directly outside our window, constantly looking into our window, just waiting for us to leave. We were extremely uncomfortable! I had a hard time locating the hotel because the address is N. Roosevelt, but the entrance to the hotel is after the road becomes S. Roosevelt. When I walked around my room barefoot, I got dirt on my feet that the carpet hid. The lighting in the bathroom wasn't bright enough to see my face closely enough to shave. The breakfast was good. The pool was nice. I was concerned when I saw earplugs on my nightstand with a card saying the neighbors could get a little noisy; thankfully I had a quiet night.FromKRW 172,724

The room was fantastic! This was the best hotel I stayed at during my entire trip to the US!!! No doubt about it!!! Conveniently located with plenty of food options, close to a supermarket, and even a Chinese-run noodle shop nearby! A gas station is right outside, which is great. La concha is a beautiful & historic hotel in the heart of beautiful Key West. The location is unbeatable & the balcony rooms, while smaller than other standard rooms, offers excellent people watching & beautiful blue sky views. A parking space is included, which is great to have right on Duval & Fleming Streets. The staff was mostly very friendly, but the service level varied. At one point in our stay, the front desk went out of their way to make us a key card to use the microwave located in the conference room. When I asked to use it the next day, another staff member says there wasn't one in the building. I went & took a photo through the window to show him. He then said he could not grant me access as the desk had previously done. No biggie but a little frustrating.
Our main issue with the hotel was HIDDEN FEES. Upon arrival, we were told we would be charged a fee of over $80 per room as a ”destination fee,” which was never explicitly disclosed & was certainly not fairly advertised. I asked about waiving this fee & the night desk said it was possible to check & see with day manager. The next day, they insisted the fee could not be waived & were unwilling to help with it further. I let them know I booked through a 3rd party prepaid, it said fees & taxes were included. They said read the fine print. They charged my card for the fees. Not being forthcoming and clear about the destination fee was the issue I had. And having parts of the hotel amenities, including outdoor areas, being closed off during the stay make this resort/destination fee more of a slap in the face. To highlight this point, the staff at this ”destination” hotel warned us that if we see some stuff a little run down or not in operation, its because the hotel just got bought & things wouldn't get straightened out until the new company takes over.
Also minor issues for such a pricey hotel included missing slats on the inner balcony door & similar minor cosmetic issues.
Other than that it is a beautiful building & top-notch location. Overall the experience was very enjoyable.

Been to Key West many times. (we live in Fort Lauderdale, so it's a nice getaway that is a short drive) Our preference is to stay at guest houses on the east end of the island, rather than staying in the busier east end. We rent bikes on arrival and keep the car parked. Parking is a problem with this property. They have what appeared to be 6 spots at $25/night, and 20 spots at a lot nearby at $20/night. None of which were available. Options were to park at meters at $5/HOUR, or to find rare non metered street parking. Since we frequent the area often,we knew where to street park w/o meters, just 2 blocks away.
The room was clean and simple, no maid service, you had to go to the desk and ask for towels, soap etc. Comfortable bed and a fridge in the room. Only drawback was the constant drone of window unit A/C that barely kept the room cool.
When I booked the room the confirmation email said that upon arrival we would be charged $74.97. What we were actually charged was $118.09. Even showing the confirmation email to the desk attendant made no matter.
The included continental breakfast was sufficient, juices, coffee, waffle maker, bagels, fruit, cereals. The dining area was clean, well maintained and central A/C. Also included is a happy hour from 5-7 in the lobby with wine and individually wrapped snacks.
Over all 4 stars, had parking been free and they honored the price we were expecting to pay on arrival, they'd get 5 stars. But hey, it's Key West, they march to a different drum.
