Stayed in a suite. The room was very large, with kitchen and coffee mills, and it felt like staying in a luxurious house. I think the meal is very good because the welcome cake was very delicious. From the big window, Motomachi and Hakodate mountain are visible and have a feeling. It is just a good location for walking in the western district, such as Motomachi and Hakodate station, and the tram stop is also close, so access is good.

The room was large and relaxing, but it was a bit disappointing to see the nearby private house from some windows. The staff were very pleasant and were impressed by the desserts and wines, hand grinders and drip sets prepared for the room. We can hear the emphasis on service. In addition, the breakfast is very luxurious and the second French toast is very delicate.

The hotel is facing the sea, and the lobby has a sea view, which is very impressive. The room we booked has an open-air bath, and we can listen to the waves of the sea while taking a bath on the balcony, surrounded by the cold wind and steaming heat. hot springs intersection. And it's in your own room, which is very convenient. There are a little less choices in the buffet restaurant, but the restaurant faces the sea and it is wonderful to eat while looking at the sea.

Should be one of the best hotels across Japan with private onsen. For those who feel it’s expensive, I strongly recommend you still to spend at least one night in this hotel, it’s a once in your lifetime experience which you can’t buy from anywhere else.

The combination of Japanese and Western styles is very good. Japanese people are more rule-abiding, while foreigners don't understand the rules. The hotel is also tolerant and friendly. It is close to the business of the red brick warehouse (there are restaurants, shops, and seafood supermarkets), and it is only a 5-minute walk away. Guests include Japan, South Korea, **************, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc. La Vista is a big chain brand with branches in various tourist resorts in Japan. It takes about 15 minutes to take a taxi to the ”Tropical Botanical Garden” in Hakodate. There are monkeys bathing in hot springs there. It is very interesting to feed the monkeys in the hot springs under heavy snow (special food, 100 yen for a small bag. You cannot feed other food at will). I met a Chinese father and two sons who entered a hot spring with their clothes on. It was obviously their first time bathing in a hot spring in Japan. Later, they took off their clothes and put on slippers. It’s hard to say anything, but it’s best to know more about Japanese hot springs in advance. The difference from other places is to respect local customs. There are ”on-the-way” arrows for picking up breakfast, and the hotel also provides everyone with a small map. However, most Chinese people don't pay attention to the direction, are prone to going in the wrong direction, and their voices are an order of magnitude louder than in normal environments. Overall very good, high score.

The Japanese-style quadruple room has twin beds and large tatami mats that can be used as a floor bed for two people. The mattress on the floor bed is very soft and comfortable. The air conditioning temperature is moderate, the room is equipped with a humidifier, and women's makeup remover and facial cleanser are available from Pola. The hair dryer provided by the women's bathing bath is very useful, and there are free soda and ice cream inside. If you don’t want to take a shared bath, you can wait for the private bath room, which is also on the ninth floor. You can go in when it is available at the door without making a reservation. There is free ramen for late night snacks, and you can choose between salt ramen and soy sauce. Personally, I think Shio Ramen is too salty.

I chose it because it is called ”hot spring where you can travel in Hokkaido by Shinkansen”. It was an online reservation, but I received a confirmation call such as the room on the 2 floor without an elevator and the room with only a shower. At that time, I was able to make a reservation for a private bath. A few days before my stay, I received an email from the manager and a call to decide dinner time. The hotel can be seen from Onuma Station. Walk 5 minutes. When you enter the front desk, you will find a nice atmosphere like an overseas resort. You can drink coffee and tea, and there is a bar lounge (with time limit) to relax. Even adults can enjoy the railway diorama and railway goods in the lounge. There were various customers such as couples, couples, and families. The room was the smallest room, but the interior was devised and functional and I didn't feel much narrowness. I was worried that the room with only a shower and the large communal bath were open-air baths, but it was not colder than I expected because of the good weather. I used the large communal bath 2 times, but it was reserved. Despite the busy season of the private bath, the reservation was not crowded, and I used it at 2. (1 Some places are reserved in advance. There are already vacancies on the day of 1.) Bath towels and towels are convenient in the bathhouse other than the guest rooms. And what should be noted is the meal? A menu that you can enjoy with your eyes according to the concept of ”delicious Epuy”. Meat, fish, vegetables, mushrooms, homemade bread dinner, breakfast full of vegetables and dairy products. I was almost hungry in the center of the local area. There were many young staff, but it was a customer service that conveys the feeling of hospitality. On the way back, despite the station Chika, he sent me by car because my feet were bad. When you try to find a place to stay for the purpose of hot springs, the elements of Japanese will inevitably become stronger, which is also attractive. However, it was a very satisfying trip that sometimes seemed to be good for hot springs like Epi and good inn like children in resort hotels. This time it was a relaxing trip to enjoy the snowy scenery, but I would like to revisit Epi to look forward to cycling and walking in different seasons. It was a trip that noticed the goodness of southern Hokkaido.

The reason I chose this hotel this time was because it was the closest place to go at work. When I actually stepped into the hotel, I felt ”Taisho Roman” as soon as I entered the museum, and at the same time I had the impression that I might have come to a high-quality hotel 💦 The warm hospitality of the staff 々 blows my anxiety in a moment. The room size of the room was able to spend enough relaxing in the room that I used this time while checking in advance on the homepage, and above all, I was able to wake up with sunrise It was lucky. There are many mistakes that refer to word of mouth and miss 々, but if you are considering this hotel, I would like to recommend it personally. I think that the other facilities are pleased with the exhibition of SL in the lounge, etc., and the railway fans are pleased. As for the restaurant, only breakfast was this time, but it was said that the color and the body consideration and the local food were used, and the taste was gentle and very delicious. Finally, the view from the restaurant was nice, but the garden was also carefully maintained until the corner 々 and the season that went out was just good, but the planting seemed to be happy and smiled next No. I want to stay here when I visit again.

I chose a room with a hot spring in the room (Japanese style room with a view bath Heisei modern) . There is a tea corner between the bed and the living space, the living area and the bed are well separated . at the perfect seaside No, but as its name suggests, you can see the Tsugaru Strait. The bath in the room is large, there is no shortage to make you want to go to the public bath.Dinner chooses buffet.Seafood only It's a good selection of . It is one of the hotels of Noguchi sightseeing. It is adjacent to Yugen Suzuki Tei. It is a small hotel. Dinner was a buffet only for seafood. This is great. The food was delicious, and the staff was also a great response to the smiling movement.

We stayed at Century Marina for our first night in Hokkaido and originally chose it for its proximity to most of the sites we wanted to see in Hakodate. It's just a few minute walk from the train station with plenty of sidewalks so pulling our suitcases was no issue. The hotel also has a large parking lot if you choose to drive. It's also just a few minute walk from the warehouse district and the older area up the hill where a lot of historical embassies and churches are. The hotel's breakfast buffet is an experience itself with an extensive spread of both Japanese and Western food options. You will reserve a time slot when checking in, but even then you should expect a 10-20 minute wait in the morning to get your table, so its best to go up before your reserved time. This hotel also has one of the best rooftop onsen I've seen, with wonderful views of the whole marina and hill. When booking I didn't realize there was a hot springs so this was a nice surprise. Our room was right next to the elevator but very quiet and clean. This is a newer hotel too so everything felt very fresh and well-maintained. We checked in using Japanese, but the hotel has check-in info packets and signs in English so this is a good option for non-Japanese speaking guests as well.

Located between Hakodate train station and the Kanemori warehouse, both attractions are within walking distance. It is a modern style hotel with public bath on the top floor. Parking lot of the hotel is jest located next to the hotel, then you need to validate the ticket before you go out. Check in was smooth though some staff members are not well versed in English. We stayed in a deluxe twin room, however the room size is modest. The room does have a good size TV, kettle, safe, tote bag for bringing the stuff to the public bath, and a comfortable couch. While the room is on the dark side, if you are here to sleep it is ok. Sleep quality is good but the air conditioning wind is a bit strong even it is turned down. Additional pillows are available if you go to the 2/F counter to collect them. The public bath on the top is one of the best city hotel I have ever visited. There is also a small kiosk selling drinks and food items, and a lough area overlooking the city view. The open bath has a panoramic view of the city. It is quite enjoyable during good weather. Buffet breakfast is served on the 2/F restaurant. It is one of the most extravagant breakfast I have ever expreienced in Japan. Lots and lots of fresh and tasty food available. Rice is cooked in individual pots. Sashimi fresh shrimp, salmon roe, and tuna are available to make a seafood don. Everything is of very good quality.

It has been almost 3 years that we have not visited Japan. Once Japan opened tourism, we packed our bags. We decided this trip will be a trip to enjoy some onsen (hot springs bath) and to see some fall foliage in colors. We picked Hakodate for onsen. This hotel offers in room open air bath tub on the balcony with a 180 degree ocean view!! Our activities were focused on taking onsen and having great food at the hotel buffet restaurant. After a great onsen bath, we wore the clothing they provided to us to the restaurant, very layback and relaxing!! There were many families, old and very young at the hotel over the weekend. So we think families take short vacations here. Strongly recommend to add Hakodate and this hotel to be part of your tour in Japan !

In terms of service it was pretty much non existent for such a good / upscale hotel no one is there to bring you baggage up to your room. As for the room even if you are a solo traveler it is just way to small there is practically no space to walk around. But very nice facilities and lobby area with top tier breakfast provided. Decent location too around 5 to 10 minutes walk away from the train station and the morning market. Those are like the only saving grace to be really honest.

The location is good. The service is good. The staff is very helpful. However, I did not expect the room is so small. I decided to upgrade it with additional cost. This hotel is famous for its breakfast. But did not find any prestige as compared with other.

Been to Hokkaido many times but first time in Hakodate. Bourou Noguchi is one of the most expensive hotels in Yunokawa area. The Noguchi Group of hotels operates quite a few hotels in the Donan area (southern Hokkaido). Seems most, if not all, of the room are fitted with private onsen. We have a duplex room with living room and bedroom on the lower floor, and bath room on the upper floor. The room size is enormous by any Japan standard. With a premium price you pay, you get almost everything you need in a room, coffee beans and maker, free mini bar drinks, Loccitane toiletries, private in-room onsen, an empty Japanese style living room with no furniture where you can do yoga, two TVs. The room has windows on two sides facing east and west. The hotel as a whole takes a western style of decoration rather than a traditional style. I guess since most of the rooms has its own onsen, as a result the public bath on the top floor is not very outstanding, however, there are free drinks and ice cream on the lounge next to the onsen entrance. And the lounge has a nice view on Hakodate city and Mount Hakodate. Every room has its designated dining room in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Both meals serve Japanese and western style dishes. My personal opinion is that Japanese dishes is better. Service in restaurant and front desk is as good as you will find in a Japanese hotel. On the ground floor there is a library, and a bar opens until late. There is not much in the surrounding area except onsen hotels, however, there are noodle shop, sushi restaurant and drug store nearby.

I stayed overnight with my wife. I could see the Tsugaru Strait from the room. It was cloudy, but I understood the wonderfulness of the location. The food was really good. The seafood was fresh and the food presentation was great. I was also happy that the mini bottle of the festival was included free of charge in the reservation plan. There was a semi-open-air bath in the large communal bath. It was nice to see the Tsugaru Strait from here. The staff at the inn, including Mr. Nakai, served the guests very politely. The stay at this inn was very comfortable. With such facilities, meals and services, I thought it was a great deal to have a total of about 80,000 yen for two people despite the Obon festival. This is a recommended inn.

just opposite the jr station which is super convenient. The morning market is located at the next street only while tram is just few steps away. the amenities are free flow before 10pm at the lobby, including facial care and even facial mask. however, the room is a bit hot even though the temperature outside was -1 because the window gap was so small. Tried to switch off the aircon but it was still hot. Overall quite worth it.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Location was unbeatable, just beside the JR Hakodate train station. It even has its own mini shopping district called Hakoviva. Room was just right for 2 adults and the bed was comfortable and soft. Bathroom was spotless. One drawback was that as we booked the cheapest twin rooms, they were just beside the elevators so we could occassionally hear the opening and closing of the elevators. We hardly used the bathroom as we went to the indoor onsen every night. The indoor decoration really resembled an old style building with lots of wood and decorations on the walls. As the onsen was shared with a fitness club, it could get very crowded in the evenings between 7pm to 10pm. The hotel was gracious enough to allow us to change rooms for the last 2 nights to twin rooms that faced the sea. The view was wonderful and we had a clear view of the train station right outside our rooms. However the air-con in these 2 rooms had some loud whirring noises every now and then so we turned off the air-con. Overall, we loved our stay at this hotel and will not hesitate to choose this hotel again for our next trip!

What an amazing hotel HakoBA Hakodate is. It is located in the old Fuji Bank building which gives it a unique character. They have done an amazing job updating the interior making it look modern yet still letting the character of the building shine through, awesome! Staff at reception were super friendly and helped us with lots of recommendations, like food and drink, and helped us with the public transport 1-day pass which you can buy here. There's also a cool little shop in the reception area selling local gifts. The room was really nice and we were lucky they gave us a room on the top floor which meant the room had really high ceilings and amazing details on the ceiling. Bathroom was pretty large, very modern and clean. Location wise this hotel is perfect. It is a 20 minute walk from the station but well connected to other public transport like buses and the city tram system. Located in the middle of the redbrick warehouse area of Hakodate there's plenty of shopping and restaurants around. Ideal for exploring this amazing city. Highly recommend staying here!

I used it for the first time. A luxury hotel, breakfast is a special mention! We chose Japanese food in Azeria for the first night 1 and Matsumae for the second night. At the buffet, there was a heap of salmon roe that I had never seen before, and I was able to make a super gorgeous seafood bowl, which was really amazing. 2 Matsumae on the night was also a very nice set, and I chose the salmon roe set, but this is also super satisfying. My friend was Hitsumabushi set, which looked very delicious! The room was large and well maintained, and it was good because it had a long-established style plus modern functionality.

What a wonderful experience! We were amazed at the selection of fresh seafood for breakfast and dinner. This is by far the best hotel seafood buffet for sure! The facilities are clean, rooms are spacious and tidy, overall ambience is great! Onsen is nice and relaxing. It is a bit far away from JR Hakodate station and does require you to either take taxi or bus. The hotel was offering a small hotel shuttle at the time which was nice however must reserve with the hotel before hand. The lady driving the shuttle bus was very nice and even gave us some traveling tips for the local area! Thank you! Special thanks to Mr. Yoshida-san at the front reception. He had noticed that one of the shuttle times we had reserved was not available that day, so he took extra effort to make sure we made it to the earlier shuttle time to make it back to the hotel. Thank you Yoshida-san! I really would like to come back and stay at Umi to Akari soon. It was a wonderful experience! Wish the best of success to this hotel!

It is a big hotel in Hakodate residential area. The nearest stop is Matsukaze CHO and the bus stop is Omori Cho. It is located on the east side of Hakodate station and Hakodate City Hall, and it is not far away, but it is not very busy because it is in the residential area. There is also a Family Mart nearby, and there are restaurants if you go to the station, but it is a bit inconvenient to walk to the tourist spot. I think there is no problem if I rent a bicycle for free because I rent a bicycle. There is a large parking lot on the north side of the hotel and it is parked for free, so I think there is no problem for sightseeing by car. It was a quite big hotel and I was traveling alone but I could use a twin room. Amenities were all available and there was a refrigerator in the room. The unit bus facilities were a bit old, but they were able to use it without any problems. There is also a welcome drink beside the lobby, and there is a cartoon shelf in the back and you can read it freely. The special note is the night crying soba service. It is limited to 10:00 ~ 12:00 at night, but there is a service that can be eaten freely by making salt ramen. Self service, but the ingredients are also served with charshoe, menma, corn, onion and cheeks, and you can put them as much as you like. There were many people who were used quite a lot. The staff and the response were kind, and if you go to Hakodate again, it is a hotel that I want to use again.

I can't think of any shortcomings. It's close to the station, there are a lot of restaurants nearby, the front desk is friendly and speaks English, the rooms are clean and reasonable, and they have pajamas and bottled water. There are also skin care samples from DHC when you check in. The breakfast was very, very good! The restaurant has a great view on the tenth floor. There are local salmon dishes, fruits, and milk The price is really impressive! ! I have to say that it is a small double room. If it is too urgent for two people to live in it, it is fine for me to live alone. The bed is 1.4 meters and comfortable.

Hakodate|0.37km from city center
Picked this hotel a it was very close to the station and so easy to get to while dragging bags. Also very convenient for the central Hakodate facilities and shops. The hotel was typical of city centre, budget types i.e. rooms on the smaller side, but the service, cleanliness and value for money can't be faulted plus there was a very reasonable free breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to use agin if back in Hakodate.
