Facilities: The hotel has many facilities; although a bit old, they are very well maintained.
Cleanliness: Standard cleanliness. Amenities and drinking water were replenished and refilled.
Environment: Apart from the occasional sound of Thai motorbikes 'racing' down the street, being close to the elevated road does mean some noise. There's a Lawson and a 7-Eleven right outside, which is super convenient. On weekends, there are street food stalls. It's just a 10-minute walk to the Chulalongkorn University food street, with lots of popular internet-famous spots and Michelin-recommended restaurants – very convenient. The gym and pool are both excellent.
Service: Very good. They understood both English and Chinese.
Highly recommended.FromJPY 5,938

I had a very pleasant stay at Oakwood Studios Sukhumvit Bangkok. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The location is excellent, with convenient access to BTS stations, restaurants, and convenience stores. Staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient, and check-in and check-out were smooth. Overall, it is a comfortable and value-for-money stay that I would gladly choose again.FromJPY 9,610

Hotel was on a average side , we have got the family suite with one king bed and sofa bed which the room size is big and at the 20th floor , the front desk girl was excellent which she walk us to the hotel lift , and greet us with smile and that was very welcoming. The lift to 20th floor was super slow hahaha but we enjoy the slow motion of the lift that brought me back to the 90s. the hotel is quite old which some of the light is dim and not working , the king bed is comfortable to our liking but the sofa bed is not so good for the kids as the bed is sinking in the middle , the toilet amenities always empty without refill from the 1st day I check in but anyway we did not give a fuss as we have the body shower from the bath tub section. But surprisingly they did not refill or check for the 4 nights we stay , other amenities all is ok but from my experience there is hotel amenities way better then this hotel , then come to my welcome fruits and chocolate which comes with 2 set of plates and cutlery. The house keeping did not even clean up the plates from the 1st day which they assume this is free and we won’t clean the plates. This is so disappointing service from such hotel. Even requesting plates they will charge you which I have turn down the service for additional plate , anyway staying per night which cost 10k baht per night and they still want charge you per plate for 100baht to your guest is a very stupid move. Totally destroy the experience of staying here is like those budget hotel which they charge you from head to tail. The security guard at the lobby is good as they always check the grab or Teksi with a torch light to ensure you did not left anything behind, during check out the guy was excellent too as I can find my deposit receipt but his word was so kind that nvm sir we have your record , we will proceed with the refund , thank you for that service which was so good that you understand the guest. Location wise is ok but the 7 eleven nearby is not that big , got fish ball noodle shop beside the hotel and a wan tan mee shop in front 7 elevenFromJPY 14,732

I was initially very pleased with this hotel: The location is excellent, right next to the Erawan Shrine and surrounded by major shopping malls, making it incredibly convenient for shopping. The room is spacious, set up as a one-bedroom suite, and comes with a washer-dryer, microwave, and even a double-door bathroom, which was quite practical. The decor had an “old money” elegance that I really liked, and the view from the window made me feel like I was in a retired Manhattan finance tycoon’s home.
However, after a few days, a series of issues significantly detracted from my experience:
1. **No Blackout Curtains in the Bedroom**: The most unbearable issue was that the bedroom only had translucent blinds, which meant I woke up at dawn (and sunrise comes early in Bangkok). Sleep is crucial when traveling, and this design choice is completely unreasonable.
2. **Extremely Inflexible Refund Policy**: I had prepaid for 5 nights with breakfast. When I needed to check out one day early due to an urgent matter back home, and despite informing the hotel two days in advance, the front desk stated that not a single penny would be refunded—not even for the separate breakfast charge. Compared to the flexibility often found with flight changes, the hotel's unyielding policy left a very poor impression.
3. **Severe Afternoon Traffic Congestion**: While the location is central, be aware: the surrounding area gets extremely congested after 4 PM. I once spent almost an hour driving just 3 kilometers. You'll need to plan your outings carefully to avoid peak times.
In summary: The hotel's facilities and location are its strong points, but it clearly falls short in crucial areas like ensuring good sleep and customer care. Your decision to stay here will depend on whether you prioritize convenience over a comfortable night's sleep and flexible travel arrangements.FromJPY 17,746

This hotel offers great value for money. It's very centrally located, making it convenient to get anywhere. Although the decor is a bit dated, the hotel is very well-maintained and quite spacious. I booked a room in Building B (the apartment building), and it was a bit of a walk from the main lobby. The room itself was a one-bedroom suite and also very large, with a 180-degree panoramic window. The sky bar and restaurant had fantastic views, which was a pleasant surprise. My only minor complaint is that some of the signage could be clearer. For instance, guests staying in Building B who take the elevator down and press the 11th floor button will end up in a dark, old lobby. You actually need to press the 10th floor button for the regular entrance.FromJPY 6,958

The Ambassador Hotel Bangkok is a phenomenal choice if you prioritize location, expansive facilities, and value in the heart of the city. Situated directly on the vibrant Sukhumvit Soi 11 and just a two-minute walk from the BTS Nana Skytrain station, the connectivity here is truly unmatched. You are instantly immersed in Bangkok's best nightlife, dining, and easy access to major shopping centers like Terminal 21.
While the hotel is large and has a classic history, recent updates—especially in the Sky Wing—ensure a comfortable and modern stay. I highly recommend booking a room in the Sky Wing for larger, more contemporary accommodations and often better views. The amenities are excellent; the outdoor pool area provides a great escape from the city heat, and the state-of-the-art fitness center is one of the biggest you'll find in a Bangkok hotel, complete with squash courts.FromJPY 9,111

Another repeated stay because of its ideal location where it is close to the MRT (along the blue line where we enjoy visiting the historic precincts served by the line) and Samyan Mitrtown (especially when we need to shop for last minute Thai snacks at Big C and After You) . Also, our fave eateries like T spoon and Chula 50 are close by. The hotel staff is warm and welcoming. The male housekeeper is very thorough and ensures our room is tidied by the time we had our breakfast. Room was cozy and it’s nice they provide capsule coffee, instant cup noodles and soft drinks within the room. Will be back again.FromJPY 9,360

This review is based on my stay on Dec 2025, my room is on level 10 next to the lift.
Location: very handy
Cleanliness: OK, the room is a bit old so don't set your expectation too high. I did not get bite by anything so there is nothing to complain.
Facilities: Bed is big and comfortable. Everything works as expected but the power plug on the wall is very loose, otherwise I will give it 5/5. Even my room is next to the lift the soundproof is OK, the other guests on the same floor did not make much noise.
Service: I really appreciate the help I received from duty manager Suwattana C. I left 3 shirts in the room, the cleaner oversighted them but Suwattana C. posted them to me at free of charge.FromJPY 6,663

Nearby BTS station is some mins away but everything else is top notch! I booked the room with executive lounge and staff in the lounge are extremely courteous and respectful and try to accommodate to your request. There is happy hour with food to go along with. To be honest, the food is enough to be dinner. There is evening turn down service as they provide a bucket of ice (without any instructions from you) and provide you some sweet things like chocolates and sweets. On Xmas Eve and Xmas night itself, they even give me a Xmas stocking with cookies inside. However, on Xmas night, I think they forgot to put the bottle of water by the bedside and the small sweet treat the bedside but it’s all good. There is a pillow menu so you could choose your type of pillow. The buckwheat pillow is so good. They replenish all amenities throughout your stay. The staff can the concerige will automatically open the car door for you when you enter or exit from the car.
Overall, super great service which I am thankful and appreciative of!FromJPY 18,086

The hotel location is a bit far, but overall the stay was acceptable. The buggy service was generally fine, though during peak hours we had to wait. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the complimentary head massage and photo-taking services. We tried the night supper once; despite using the queue pager, we still waited about 15–20 minutes. The room was okay, however the shower area drainage was not good even after staff attempted to clear it. The corridor also had a slight unpleasant smell. Our request for early check-in was not granted, and late check-out was only extended until 1pm, not the 2pm stated on the website. The breakfast hall was crowded and the food selection was average. Overall, it was an average stay experience.FromJPY 10,811

Clean and easy hotel with good amenities like shampoo and shower gel provided in room. You can request from front desk for other amenities like toothbrush and bedroom slippers. They have a paying washer and dryer on the ground floor which is very handy. And a nice but basic rooftop bar that you can see the views of the city.
The surrounding areas has loads of good food and places for breakfast. There’s an amazing Pork Leg Rice (search Khao Kah Moo on google maps) just behind the hotel. There’s a shortcut that you can take through a small lane where they also sell Khao Soi and boat noodles.
The BTS is about 10-12 mins walk away but the hotel provides a mini tuk tuk to take you to the train station isf you ask.
The only gripe I have was that the shower stall had no door and the water kept flooding out the whole bathroom, seeping into the room area. We stemmed the water with the bath mat which essentially means the bath mat is always soaked the entire time. I informed the front desk staff about it and she just said, that they know about the issue and it happens a lot. I guess my question is, then why is something not done?FromJPY 6,867

Cleanliness was excellent, and the reception staff were cooperative and polite. They even upgraded my booking to a higher room category for free.
The location is decent, and there are many halal restaurants in the area.
Just one note: the room was supposed to include a dental care kit according to the booking, but I couldn’t find it.FromJPY 3,354
