La'Gent Stay Hakodate Ekimae

The hotel was pretty good overall. The room was clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. The location is very convenient, making it easy to find food and get around. The staff were friendly and provided good service. There weren't any major issues, though some of the facilities were a little old. All in all, it was a comfortable stay.

This hotel is super convenient! It's just a 3-minute walk from Hakodate JR Station – turn left when you exit. They have a smoking room on the first floor, and a Lawson convenience store right downstairs. There's also an outdoor public smoking area across the street next to a noodle shop. The public bath is on the second floor and has a large hot tub, a cold plunge pool, and a sauna, but no outdoor bath. Overall, it was a good experience. It's only about a 10-minute walk to Hakodate Morning Market, making it easy to get around to everything. I'd also recommend Kimi, a Yakiniku restaurant in Hakodate. It's in a residential area and only has four tables, so if you want to try it, go early!

This hotel exceeded my expectations! The transportation is incredibly convenient; there's a bus terminal right downstairs, making it easy to go anywhere. I initially planned to take taxis in Hakodate, but Google Maps showed that all the buses I needed were right there, super clear and easy to navigate. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel's large public bath is great – we didn't soak, just used the shower area, and the water pressure was fantastic and refreshing. If you go after 10:30 PM or so, it's not crowded, and having a small popsicle after showering was a nice touch. The hotel breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular, but those who enjoy sashimi would probably like it. The Lawson convenience store downstairs is also quite large.
