The hotel is located on a mountain, making it especially convenient for guests with their own cars, as it's easy to get up and down the mountain. The air is fresh and the environment is beautiful, with a direct view of Fangshan Mountain. The landlady is very helpful; she sent me many helpful tips and recommendations for nearby places even before I arrived at the hotel. If passengers arriving by high-speed rail can't find a taxi down the mountain, they can ask her for a ride (for a fee). She's like a living map, describing the scenery along the way, highlighting worthwhile places to visit, and recommending good restaurants. This is perfect for lazy people who don't like to plan ahead; they can simply ask her. She recommends her homemade dumplings, which are small but made with quality ingredients, and are a good choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's also a leisurely time to stroll around the apartment area in the morning. The photos in the reviews were all taken near the apartment; it's a very comfortable and relaxing place to visit during the Qingming Festival.

On the way back from a trip to Fujian, we took the highway to Wenzhou due to the typhoon. I didn't expect to be able to stay in such a good hotel at such a low price. Let me talk about the room first. It was big and clean, and the service was also very good. We arrived at the hotel very late at night, and the young lady waited for us to arrive and helped us with our luggage. I slept very well at night. The mountains were very clean and the air was very good. The dumplings were handmade the next morning and tasted very good. The children didn't want to leave. This was the most satisfactory hotel I stayed in on this trip. It is also very close to Yandang Mountain, very convenient. I will choose to stay in this hotel next time I have the chance.

The room is located in Baita Town, less than 1 km from Shenxianju Transfer Center. It is very clean, tidy and new. There is a large artificial lake nearby which adds to the atmosphere. The room is very comfortable. This is the advantage of traveling in the off-season. Come slowly, go slowly, and enjoy slowly. I will stay here again when I travel to Shenxianju in the future.

I chose this hotel for my trip to Taizhou on September 13th to attend Zhou Shen's concert, after comparing several hotels close to the stadium. The staff here were very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent with a dedicated counter for Taizhou specialties. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor is a Michelin-starred establishment, offering fresh and delicious dishes; we dined there for both days of our stay. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the high-speed train station, just a 15-minute taxi ride away. Walking to the concert venue took only about twenty minutes. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Taizhou.

Big thanks to all the hotel staff (front desk, housekeeping, restaurant), especially Wu Wenwen, for upgrading us to an executive room on the 28th floor and for the two complimentary coffees at check-out. The Taizhou cuisine at the hotel's Chinese restaurant was incredibly delicious, and the service was absolutely outstanding 👍. Even past 11 PM, they offer a free late-night noodle bar. The restaurant staff were so welcoming and friendly, preparing noodles, wontons, and congee. Thank you everyone, it was a very pleasant trip!

This is a relatively well-known five-star hotel in Taizhou. The lobby is spacious, but the rooms are on the smaller side. It's been renovated, so it doesn't feel old, and the facilities are decent, nothing extraordinary. However, the front desk service was terrible – arguably the worst I've encountered in years. We had two rooms booked with an elderly person and a baby, and we specifically requested them to be on the same floor. Despite the hotel not being very busy (it was after the Chinese New Year period), they insisted on putting us on two different floors. Any normal hotel would at least offer a complimentary upgrade for one of the rooms (to a similar-looking room, not necessarily a much better one), but the front desk staff seemed extremely reluctant. After much back and forth, we finally got into our rooms, only to find one had a faucet that leaked like a waterfall when turned on. How can such a significant facility bug go unmaintained and unrecorded by the hotel? Did they want to put us through all this trouble? And then they claimed there were no other rooms available and were unwilling to upgrade us… After over an hour of this ordeal, we were starving. The check-out experience was even more bizarre. We were all packed and ready to check out when we discovered our baby had pooped and needed a diaper change and a wash. Since the baby wasn't cooperating, we called guest services in advance to explain the situation and apologize for a potential 10-minute delay. The staff member said they would relay the message to the front desk and call us back. A few minutes later, guest services called back, saying the front desk insisted that even a one-minute late check-out would incur a charge… I was shocked. We travel frequently and have never encountered such a situation at any other hotel. I expressed my dissatisfaction over the phone. But the baby needed to be cleaned, so if they were going to charge, there was nothing we could do. Then, with just one or two minutes left until 2 PM, we received another call from the front desk urging us to check out… We frantically finished cleaning up, left the room a few minutes after 2 PM, and arrived at the front desk to check out at 2:10 PM. Although the front desk staff was busy with other things and didn't really pay attention, they ultimately didn't charge us. However, the entire experience was terrible. They were so unsympathetic. It wasn't a huge delay, just a few minutes, and we even called ahead, especially considering the special circumstances with a baby… Also, the hotel collected a 1000 RMB deposit from me, promising to refund it within half an hour of check-out. Yet, several hours after leaving the hotel, I still hadn't received the refund. I had to contact Trip.com customer service to get the deposit back. The front desk service, let alone being incomparable to a typical star-rated hotel, was far worse than even hotels like Huazhu Hotels Group's Mercure, Orange Hotel, or Crystal Orange. On the other hand, the housekeeping aunties and their supervisor were very good – extremely polite and understanding. If it weren't for them, my rating would have been even lower.

On a business trip to Huangyan, I stayed at the Yaoda Hotel and even got upgraded to an executive suite. It was excellent! I personally think the hotel restaurant here is even better than the Yaoda in Wenling 😋. Although the hotel is a bit older, it still maintains Yaoda's consistent high standards. I've stayed at the Yaoda in Taizhou and Wenling before, and they were both great too!

The room was quite spacious, and the toothbrush, bedding, and bed were all nice. They even provided fruit (four apples). It was quiet. My only complaint is the mosquitoes in the room. It's on the tenth floor, and the weather wasn't particularly hot. Although they provided liquid mosquito repellent, it didn't work. Normally, we wouldn't need the air conditioning in this weather, but I got up in the middle of the night to turn it on, and even at 19℃, there were still mosquitoes. I got up three or four times to adjust the temperature and add mosquito repellent. I finally fell asleep around 3 AM after taking half a sleeping pill.

This B&B was quite unexpected. First, the location was great, just a few minutes from the pier, but the owner didn't come to pick us up, so we walked up on our own. The owner said the old pier was closer. Second, their deck was large, with a great view. The room, while average, was airy and well-ventilated, which I was quite satisfied with. Most importantly, it was cheap, at 300 per night, which was a better deal than the Boat Captain B&B I stayed at the second night. The Boat Captain B&B was 499 per night, which I didn't think was worth the price. The toilet was also dirty, the room smelled, and the ventilation was poor, but the owner was generally very helpful. The electric bikes in the yard cost money to rent, but I think they should be free at this price—it's a unique feature. Otherwise, I really don't think the value is worth it. The location is also not great, with no ocean view. Yinghai B&B has a better location. I should have stayed there both nights. (´∀｀) But I won't be visiting Dachen Island again, so it doesn't really matter. The island is also incredibly commercialized. The bus was 5 yuan per person for a single trip, even though it could be 25 yuan for the entire day. The driver didn't tell me. Even after I got on the bus and heard the 5 yuan per trip, he didn't tell me I could buy a 25 yuan all-day ticket. He even asked me to get off afterward. I was speechless, having to walk around the island. Also, prices are sky-high. An iced Coke cost 4 yuan, but the owner said it was 4.5 yuan straight from the fridge. 🥲 Absolutely ridiculous, money-grubbing. I ate a 110-yuan (approximately 100 jin) of mantis shrimp, and ordered a 100-yuan (approximately 100 jin) of mantis shrimp. A cucumber and a stir-fried rice cake cost 180 yuan. The ferry ticket was also canceled, forcing us to buy it on site the next day. All in all, after spending thousands of yuan to visit this island, I still recommend going to Hainan. Hainan Island has much better scenery, and the prices are similar. •ᴗ•💧
