Welcome to Legacy Haven!

Our home showcases charming little details from its history since the 1880s, yet gives off a luxurious beach-cottage feel.

It has enough space for 3-4 families with children. We also welcome small groups who are simply looking to retreat, unwind, and enjoy the quaint towns of the Western Lake Michigan shores.

Enjoy the beaches of South Haven and its downtown events and happenings, which are only a 5-minute drive.

THE SPACE
Our tastefully renovated cottage is the perfect setting for a true vacation. Feel at home, relax, and spend quality time with your family or group, while enjoying all the fun that South Haven and Lake Michigan has to offer!

Our home has 4 beds and 3 baths. The home is set up to sleep 15 max (13 comfortably):

Bedroom 1: Main floor; Queen size bed. (Sleeps 2)
The walk-in closet has an extra cot, a toddler high chair, and a pack n' play.
Bedroom 2: 2nd floor, master's. King size bed (Sleeps 2). The Walk-in closet has an extra cot and a foldable crib.
Bedroom 3: 2nd floor: Queen size bed (Sleeps 2).
Bedroom 4: 2nd floor: 5 bunk beds (Sleeps 5).

EXTRA BEDS
Queen pull out sofa in the living room (Sleeps 2).
2 extra twin cots that can be set up in the family room (Sleeps 2). Stored in the main floor bedroom closet and the master's bedroom closet.

Bath 1: Main floor, by the kitchen.
Bath 2: 2nd floor, hallway.
Bath 3: 2nd floor, inside the Master's bedroom. The laundry washer and dryer are located here

We have equipped the kitchen with everything you need for cooking and eating. There's complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, and cream. You can also bring your own K-cups and use the Keurig.

The dining area has a wonderful ambiance! The table sits 6 but if you need additional seating, we have 4 folding chairs tucked away in the dining area closet. There's a high chair for your baby or toddler (kept in the bedroom closet on the main floor)! A pack n' play is available to keep your baby safe while playing or napping.

Right in the living room is a conversational couch, which is also a queen-size, pull-out sofa. Across from it, is the entertainment area, where you can watch movies and play board games. A game table on the side of the room has been set up for your convenience. There's a reading nook with a couple of recliner chairs and personal reading lamps.

The 3-season porch has been our guests' favorite space! Enjoy the breeze and beauty of the outdoors, while comfortably sitting in the porch. There's a furnished outdoor deck that's available to use from spring to early fall. Also available are the grill, picnic tables, and a bonfire pit. The home sits on 1.22 acres so there's plenty of room to set up yard games: bean bag toss, croquet, basketball.

Lastly, if you're heading out to the beach, remember to grab some beach toys and portable chairs from the garage -- all available for your use and enjoyment!

FUN ACTIVITIES IN SOUTH HAVEN:
- drive only 5 minutes to downtown South Haven;
- 5 minutes to the South Haven Municipal Marina
- less than 5 minutes to the Lake Michigan Blue Stairs access (recommended for families with small kids);
- From the beach, take the kids to the splash pad (by the Marina), or the popular Kid's Corner playground (blue stairs access).
- For adults, enjoy the wineries in the surrounding areas: Warner Winery, 12 Corners Vineyards, Gravity Tasting Room, Cogdal Vineyards, to name a few.

* There are plenty of free street parking in downtown South Haven. In some instances, you may have to park and walk a short distance to your destination.

Other small-town destinations in Lake Michigan:
- 1/2 hr drive to the famous Butler Street in Saugatuck; Try the sand dune rides.
- 1/2 hr drive to shop around the quaint streets of downtown St. Joseph or visit Silver Beach.

Asher Premier Beachfront Condo is my two bedroom modern, 880+ sq. ft. PENTHOUSE (NO NOISE FROM ABOVE NEIGHTHBORS) CORNER unit on Lake Michigan. This LAKE FACING unit is fully furnished and comfortably sleeps six adults with a king-size bed in the master bedroom. a set of twin beds in the spare BR and a pullout queen size couch in the living area. The unit is both poolside and beachside and it features unbeatable sunsets and coastal views while sitting within the unit. About The Oakland South
This historic vacation rental sits one block from gorgeous North Beach and its family friendly playground & concessions. Located in historic Monroe Park, our place boasts four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, loads of living space, lake views to the west and a beautifully appointed kitchen with marina views to the east. Sit on the front patio and enjoy people watching and sunsets on the lake. Grill on the private deck, play yard games on a soft green lawn, and watch boats pass by from the back yard.
