It was already evening when I arrived at the hotel. The owners of the hotel are a couple 🇭🇰🇯🇵. They are very kind and friendly. They helped me carry my luggage, asked me about my itinerary, and informed me about the weather that day. It rained on the day I went to Hokkaido University. I am very grateful to the hostess in the morning. Remind me to bring an umbrella so that I don’t have to worry about getting caught in the rain. Staying in this hostel is one of my unique experiences. Everyone I met was very nice. The hotel was very clean and the beds were neat. I was worried about bed bugs before departure, but it turned out that I There are so many disposable beddings that are not used hahaha. I will choose your home next time I come to Hokkaido. It gave me a pleasant and unique experience. I wish you good health and all the best. ps: The citizens I met in Sapporo were so warm and friendly, which made it a perfect travel experience.

來看初音未來交響樂會，這家青旅離中島公園音樂廳步行衹要十分鐘，很方便！ 店主是很親切的叔叔阿姨，我到的那晚上下大暴雪，飛機延誤，提前打電話留了門（中文OK），店主幫我清理了行李箱上的雪，還幫忙把箱子提上樓🥺 床鋪很乾凈整潔，一人一個小間，私密性很好，同住的舍友也都是很友好的人~ 留下了很難忘的回憶，如果有機會的話還想再來！

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean! The location is within walking distance of Susukino, the parking lot is right in front of you, and there is a convenience store nearby, so I think it's easy to use! The accommodation fee was reasonable and good.

Used the hotel as my base for day travels to Otaru, Furano / Biei. First overnight stay was without breakfast but that was lucky as I saw overflowing waiting crowds even at 6.45am!!. Subsequent stay was 4 nights - buffet spread was good and delicious - but 4 days of similar breakfast was abit repetitive - fresh omelette counter was manned by 1 person … not the efficiency I think of for Japan. Obvious is also the clearing of tables / turn over are slow due to a petit looking trolley with space for only max 2 trays (the reason for the long queue?) Room wise was comfortable, but with paper thin walls - i hear baby crying, people coughing or people on phone speakers not to mention the occasional loud thumps on wall ..had to use ear plugs in order to sleep. As it’s End June, the sky gets bright by around 3.30am … and the light leaking from The curtain does not help .. so it was also blind fold. Overall if not for the the nice and helpful Chinese speaking reception team .. I would have a mediocre experience at the hotel. Pic of the ‘leaking’ curtain which did not block out the lights for a good night sleep.

I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Grand Mercure Sapporo. One of the highlights was definitely the lounge, which offered a wide variety of snacks and drinks throughout the day. I stayed two nights at the Keio Plaza Hotel on Wednesday and Thursday, then moved to the New Furano Prince Hotel on Friday, and returned to the Keio Plaza Hotel on Saturday for another stay. When I got back to Sapporo from Furano, it was already 7 PM. A young lady checked me in and asked me to fill in my address. I wrote the name of my city. She insisted on a full address, and I told her that's how I wrote it last time. She then relented and said, 'Okay.' After that, she told me that my stay didn't include breakfast for the next day. I remembered it did, but she confidently told me it wasn't included and marked 'no breakfast' on my room card. I had to ask her, 'How much is breakfast if I pay for it myself?' She said 4000 JPY, but hotel guests get a 10% discount. So, the next day I paid 3600 JPY for breakfast. After breakfast, I still felt something was off, so I carefully checked my Ctrip order again and found that breakfast was indeed included. I went to the front desk, but the young lady was no longer on duty. After explaining the situation to the staff member, he refunded my payment. When I checked out, I formally complained about that lady at the hotel front desk. I believe such incidents shouldn't happen, but I don't know if she did it on purpose. Therefore, for this stay, I only gave a three-star rating for service, because aside from that one lady, everyone else's service was quite good.

The location is fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk from the East Exit of JR Sapporo Station, making it super convenient to get to places like Hokkaido University and Odori Park – all within a 10-minute walk. The hotel service is exceptional; every staff member proactively greets guests and asks if they need any assistance. The rooms are spotless! During our stay, a small incident occurred: my child accidentally put the 'to be processed' tag on our suitcase, which led to it being collected. When K. Kou (Huang) found out, he immediately reassured us, asked for details about the suitcase, and quickly helped communicate with the relevant parties to track it down and successfully retrieve it. We are especially grateful for his help! We hope the hotel can convey our gratitude, and that of my family, directly to him again. Thank you for your professionalism! A renowned 5 ⭐️ hotel conveniently connected to the Sapporo JR station within 10 mins straight stroll. The Daimaru shopping mall 🛒🛍️ is situated right above for tax free retail shopping. The hotel looked 👀 grand & posh, & bit pricey, probably because it coincided with the Sapporo Snow & Ice Festival ⛄️❄️🧊 which is within short walk to Odori Park. With special access to the Club floor privileges, we enjoyed additional pampering F&B indulgence 🍷🧀🦐 . The hotel room is big & spacious but the overall facilities & decor are a bit nostalgic. The service is good👌 Sadly not much nightlife in this area, in comparison to Susukino area which comes to life @ night with more oishi eateries & great shopping 🛒 🛍️

*Review: MyStay Sapporo Aspen* Stayed at MyStay Sapporo Aspen for a group trip with 10 adults, and it was a solid base for exploring Sapporo. *Location is perfect* It’s only a 5-minute walk to Sapporo Station, which made everything easy. We could walk to Susukino for dinner, catch the airport train without rushing, and it’s also a short walk to malls and shopping streets. For a group, being central like this saves a lot of time and taxi costs. *Room setup and space* We booked 5 rooms – mix of standard double rooms and standard twin rooms. Heads up: the standard double room is on the smaller side, fine for 1-2 people but tight with luggage. The twin room is noticeably larger than the double, so if you have the option, go for twin. Beds were comfortable and clean in both room types. *Amenities* One thing I liked was the amenity bar on the ground floor. You can pick up toothbrushes, hair ties, razors, sleep masks, and other toiletries for free. Good range, and it’s convenient if you forgot something or don’t want to pack bulky bottles. Rooms also had everything basic you’d expect – kettle, fridge, wifi worked fine. *Food and shopping nearby* There are tons of food options within a few minutes walk. Ramen, izakaya, convenience stores, and cafes everywhere. Plus you’re right next to the mall and shopping areas, so it’s easy to grab last-minute omiyage or do some shopping after dinner. *Overall* Great location, practical amenities, and convenient for groups. Just book twin rooms if space matters to you. For the price and location near Sapporo Station, it’s good value for a city stay.

This hotel is truly excellent. Its location is very convenient, just a short walk from the train station. One of the highlights is the complimentary welcome drinks available throughout the day, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience. The breakfast is also incredibly premium, with high-quality options across the board. Honestly, almost everything about this hotel is great. The only downside is that the room is quite small, making it a bit difficult to fully open a suitcase. If I have the chance to visit Sapporo again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.

March 19, 2026 After checking out from another hotel at 10 AM, I headed straight here with my luggage. The front desk lady was very kind and helped me tag my bags, then stored them for free in the luggage room. Afterward, I walked to Suwa Shrine to take some photos. I returned around 2:30 PM. While waiting for my room to be cleaned, I picked up some free disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, facial cleanser, lotion, and hair ties from the self-service corner next to the front desk. The free self-service corner had so many options! There was also a free drink machine for coffee and a free ice cream freezer. Finally, I was able to check in 15 minutes early, free of charge. The room was very clean and tidy. Across from the window was a tall building. Also, by registering as a hotel member via email, you can receive a small gift worth up to 1000 yen, such as a free one-hour late checkout or some complimentary drinks. I ended up choosing a free local-flavored orange juice. The main reason I chose this hotel was actually for its supposedly best breakfast in Sapporo. The restaurant is quite large, and in the morning, they offer salmon, tuna, squid, and crab sashimi – all very fresh. They even had four types of milk, all very fragrant and rich. Unfortunately, I had overeaten at an all-you-can-eat sukiyaki the night before, so I couldn't fully enjoy it. I'll definitely book this hotel again if I have the chance!

The hotel was very nice. We got the corner rooms (208-209) and they had nothing to complain about. Spacious than most standard rooms in Japan. Our room has sofa and a table. Separate toilet, washing basin zone, and the shower room has a bathtub and a shower head separately. (I don't like thw combination one so i purposely chose this type of room) The cleanliness was superb, you can put the card on the bed and the sticker at the door to sign them to help clean the room and change the bed sheet. The room is equipped with a mini fridge, hair dryer, robes, air humidifier, kettler, few glasses and mugs, air freshener spray, slippers, laundry bag (for laundry service). Staff were nice, breakfast buffet was great (no need to book in advance, can pay upfront) The closest stations are the Tozai Line (orange): Nishi juitchome and the Namboku, Toho, Tozai Line: Odori station.

I arrived in Sapporo late at night and took a taxi from Sapporo JR Station to the hotel, which cost about 1800 yen. The next morning, as I pulled open the curtains, I was absolutely stunned: before me was a beautiful world of pristine white snow, with Nakajima Park spread out in full view. I was so grateful for the clear blue sky, allowing the distant mountains to be clearly visible. It truly lived up to its name as a 'room with a view.' Although the facilities are a bit dated, the room layout is very practical, and the bathroom is spacious enough. The bedding and linens are all of high quality. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and excellent. Eating breakfast in the ground floor restaurant, with its large floor-to-ceiling windows, and watching the snow silently fall from the trees was an indescribable pleasure. Even better was the hotel's location for transportation. Nakajima Koen Station's Exit 3 and Exit 1 are only a two-minute walk from the hotel, making getting around incredibly convenient! The front desk service was also impeccable. We stayed for a total of three nights, but had to switch rooms for the third night. When we returned in the evening, the staff had already moved all our luggage to the new room. It was a very thoughtful gesture.

Facilities: A bit old, as it's been around for over a decade, but still very refined and tidy, with a feel of a fading noble. The hotel has pretty complete amenities; the only downside is the lack of a laundry room. You have to walk a bit to find a paid laundromat outside (perhaps because they figure only winter visitors come to Hokkaido, and you barely need a shower in winter, right? (laughs)). Hygiene: Very clean, fitting for a five-star hotel's positioning and price point. Environment: Located next to Nakajima Park. From my room, I could see the vast white snow of Nakajima Park below. It's a bit far from the city center (around 800m), but very quiet at night. You can take the JR or walk to the city center, and the experience is still very good. Service: Standard five-star hotel service; all expected services are well provided.

The breakfast was quite rich, though the one I had later in Hakodate was even more impressive. By the way, the Patagonia outlets across the street have closed, so don't be misled by older reviews.

Service: The service was incredibly warm and attentive; every day, I was greeted with smiles and greetings. Cleanliness: It was very clean and tidy; the trash was emptied, and the room was tidied daily. Environment: Very good. Facilities: Well-equipped and very convenient. Transportation: It's right next to Sapporo Station, making it easy to get to from either the North or East exits – it's incredibly close. It's also very near Sapporo's main attractions; you can walk to Hokkaido University, Sapporo TV Tower, and other places. I've stayed here once before, and it offers excellent value for money during the off-season.

The location was just a short walk from Sapporo Station making it incredibly convenient to travel around. The hotel is also surrounded by major shopping malls, offering endless choices for dining and shopping at your doorstep. The quality of the breakfast was outstanding, with highlights including the delicious French toast and the fresh seafood donburi, which was a perfect way to start the day. The onsen facilities were amazing as well.

We stayed in the Hollywood Twin Room, and although it was a bit small, it was incredibly clean and well-arranged! The hotel offers excellent value for money overall. Downstairs at check-in, they provide complimentary toiletries, and even mouthwash, toner, lotion, and makeup remover! I'd give the hotel facilities a perfect score; there's a self-service laundry room, ice machine, microwave, refrigerator, and even a dedicated smoking room. My favorite part is the 24-hour free coffee, and the quality is absolutely top-notch! 😌
