Title: Perfect Stay in the Heart of Kona 🌺
I had an amazing experience at the Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel! The location couldn’t be better—right on the waterfront, with beautiful views of Kailua Bay and just steps away from shops, restaurants, and the pier.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a cozy bed and a balcony where I could enjoy the ocean breeze every morning. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, always ready with a smile and great local tips.
The on-site amenities were fantastic: the pool area was relaxing, the fitness center was well-equipped, and the beach right in front of the hotel was perfect for a quick swim or paddleboarding. I also loved the cultural touches, like the Hawaiian artwork and the historical displays in the lobby, which made the stay feel uniquely local.
This hotel truly offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and Hawaiian charm. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kona!

The location is great and the hotel is clean.
This time I had a room on the second floor, but mosquitoes and other insects kept coming in and biting me several times when I went in and out of the balcony.
When I took a shower, water leaked through the gap in the door and the floor got soaked.
The staff service was a little disappointing.
I'd stay again if it were a little cheaper.

The ocean view was very smoothing and relaxing. The kids loved the giant pool and the water slide and we spent a lot of time there! The pool food was better than I expected. The breakfast place was also nice. Close to many activities. We went to the open market right in front of the hotel. We did the kayaking tour that included an exciting cliff jump, and the most incredible night time manta ray experience, all short distances from the hotel. Short drive to many tourist spots. Would definitely want to come back again sometime.

This was my fourth time on the Big Island, but my first time staying at this hotel. The view in front of me was amazing. When I checked in, I was recommended a plan that included free parking, lounge access, and breakfast, so I chose that. The breakfast was the same every day, but the lounge in the evening had a wide variety of drinks and food, which was great. The pool was also great, and I would definitely use it again.
