Les Halles Paris|0.62km from city center
We stayed at Novotel Paris Les Halles and overall had an okay experience.
The room was clean and well maintained, which we appreciated. However, the hotel was undergoing renovation during our stay. While there was no noticeable noise, the scaffolding right outside our window meant we had to keep the curtains closed most of the time. As a result, the room lacked natural light, and the lighting indoors wasn’t quite sufficient — it made things like doing makeup a bit challenging. Rooms on the lower floors also don’t offer much of a view, which was a little disappointing.
That said, the location is a major plus. There’s a mall and supermarket just behind the hotel, which is very convenient. Even better, there’s a metro entrance right at the doorstep, making it extremely easy to get around Paris.
We didn’t try the breakfast, so can’t comment on that.
Overall, a decent stay mainly for the convenience of the location, though the renovation and room conditions may affect the experience slightly.
