This was my second stay here. It's super easy to get to from Sapporo Station; just take Exit 1 at Nakajima-Koen, cross the traffic lights, and you're there. They have a hot spring and breakfast, and even if you don't book breakfast, it's only 500 yen. The best part is the afternoon tea 🍵 – it's perfect for sipping coffee ☕ and relaxing. Definitely avoid the smoking rooms; they smell terrible and haven't been renovated. Plus, they're smaller than the single rooms and about 100 yen more expensive, which isn't worth it. However, the location is great for getting around on the Namboku Line (green line).

Facilities: Great! They even offer complimentary afternoon tea, snacks, and drinks. Cleanliness: Very clean, and excellent value for money. Environment: If you don't smoke, don't book a smoking room. I booked one because it was cheaper, but it had a noticeable smoky smell that wasn't pleasant. The windows also couldn't be opened. However, there was an air freshener spray in the room. I imagine a non-smoking room would be much better. Service: The service attitude was also very good. Overall, I can give it a high rating.

I really recommend this youth hostel. The hygiene is impeccable, the environment is very artistic, and the service is very considerate. The couple who manage this youth hostel are very nice. They can speak Chinese and English and can introduce the surrounding environment. The travelers who stay with us are all very high-quality, and there is rarely any noise during sleeping time. The location is located in a small street. The nearest subway station is Nakajima Park Station, which takes about 12-18 minutes to walk. I went there at the end of April. When I stepped out of the subway station, I saw a large group of cherry blossoms. Coupled with the warm sunshine and the quiet park, I was instantly relieved from the stressful work atmosphere. At that time, I had just gotten off the plane and took a JR. I felt very tired. I wanted to go straight to the youth hostel and lie down for a while, but after seeing the beautiful scenery, I dragged my heavy suitcase around for 40 minutes. Overall, this youth hostel is of great significance to me for my first trip to Hokkaido alone. It is recommended for both solo travelers and couples to stay here!

It was already evening when I arrived at the hotel. The owners of the hotel are a couple 🇭🇰🇯🇵. They are very kind and friendly. They helped me carry my luggage, asked me about my itinerary, and informed me about the weather that day. It rained on the day I went to Hokkaido University. I am very grateful to the hostess in the morning. Remind me to bring an umbrella so that I don’t have to worry about getting caught in the rain. Staying in this hostel is one of my unique experiences. Everyone I met was very nice. The hotel was very clean and the beds were neat. I was worried about bed bugs before departure, but it turned out that I There are so many disposable beddings that are not used hahaha. I will choose your home next time I come to Hokkaido. It gave me a pleasant and unique experience. I wish you good health and all the best. ps: The citizens I met in Sapporo were so warm and friendly, which made it a perfect travel experience.

The resort is also conveniently located only about 10–15 minutes from the airport. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations. There was a good variety of food available, and the selection changed slightly each day, which kept things interesting. Everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared. One thing to note is that the hotel is not within walking distance of many restaurants or attractions, so we relied on Grab to get around. However, rides were easy to book and reasonably priced. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Phu Quoc.

However, the staff’s English communication skills were quite limited, which made things a bit difficult at times. The most concerning issue was hygiene. I found a dried dead lizard in the bathroom. Even more disappointing, the next day housekeeping cleaned the room but left the lizard in the exact same spot. This really affected my impression of cleanliness and attention to detail.

First, the shuttle didn’t wait for us. I messaged days in advance that I have a baby and I booked a slot for the shuttle service under my name. By the time I cleared immigration, it was after their scheduled bus time. But they didn’t even called or update us about it and plan for anything. For a 5* resort, that’s a 0* to me. End up I have to get my own transport with a crying baby. On top of that, when I reached the hotel. This is after 3pm by the way. It seemed like my room was not even ready?? 5* hotel and you can’t even get basic things right? End up waiting in the lobby for 30mins or so with my baby who is tired and again, staff didn’t even offer anything while waiting. Not even a welcome drink or anything. Just waiting in blur mode while checking my room availability. Staff should be trained to prepped room and incoming guest in advance. Customer service is 0. Toilet water pressure is on and off which is also bad.

From the moment I was collected at the airport to the seamless check-in experience, everything at the Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc was first class. As a VIP member, I was delighted to be upgraded to a beautiful King Suite with as sea view of the Gulf of Thailand, and enjoyed complimentary half board throughout my stay, which made the experience even more special. What impressed me most was the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone worked hard to ensure my stay was comfortable, relaxing and completely stress free. A special mention must go to George and Vitia, who were exceptional throughout my visit. They are outstanding ambassadors for the Radisson brand and their genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. The resort itself is stunning. The enormous swimming pool and pristine private beach make this a must-visit destination when travelling to Phu Quoc. The food was excellent throughout, with the breakfast buffet being particularly impressive, offering an incredible variety and quality. This was my first stay at the Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc, but it certainly won’t be my last. I look forward to returning soon with my family, and I know they will absolutely love it just as much as I did. Highly recommended. ★★★★★

You can tell the staff put a lot of effort into maintaining them. It's about a 20-minute drive from the airport. Be aware that the pool is currently under renovation, but they offer food and beverage vouchers as compensation, which is a nice touch. 👍 The rooms are generally clean, but since the bathroom is semi-open, there are quite a few mosquitoes, insects, and geckos. I'd suggest the hotel install air conditioning and glass windows in the bathrooms to elevate the experience. 👍 The restaurant up on the hill has a great ambiance and good food, even if the selection isn't huge.

Our four-day, three-night trip to Phu Quoc included a stay at the JW Marriott. While there were several minor issues, the hotel management actively followed up and made amends, ultimately leading to a very satisfying experience! Before we even left, I contacted the hotel to inquire about an early check-in, as our flight arrived around 9 AM. Initially, the hotel replied that check-in was strictly at 3 PM. At the time, I was a bit disappointed, feeling that a five-star hotel should offer more flexibility. Thankfully, upon arrival, the hotel managed to arrange an early check-in for us around 11 AM. Unfortunately, a problem arose on the first night: the shower couldn't produce hot water, so I could only take cold showers. I had a cold before the trip, and the cold shower only made it worse. As it was late, I waited until the second night to report the issue to the staff. They said they would send a technician. To my surprise, less than five minutes after we returned to our room, the door was opened, and a technician entered directly to work. While the repair was swift, this approach raised concerns. If there had been valuables in the room, it would have been difficult to determine responsibility in case of loss. Moreover, on the second day, we found that our room hadn't been cleaned, drinking water hadn't been replaced, and trash, towels, and tissues hadn't been replenished. We reported both the shower issue and the room cleaning problem again. The hotel explained that they had mistakenly thought we requested no room cleaning, but we had never made such a request – clearly an internal communication breakdown. Afterward, Hotel Manager Eason proactively approached us during breakfast to apologize and explain. I also showed him a video confirming we hadn't requested to forgo cleaning. Eason was decisive and responsible in handling the situation. He immediately arranged for staff to thoroughly clean the room and even sent a fresh fruit platter and a towel animal as an apology, showing great sincerity. He also assigned another guest services manager, Sang, to follow up on our requests throughout our stay, regularly checking in to see if we needed any further assistance. Thanks to Eason's efficient handling and Sang's attentive follow-up, the hotel promptly resolved all issues. A five-star hotel needs not only excellent facilities but also top-notch service and adaptability. Despite encountering several mishaps along the way, the staff's proactive and responsible attitude completely compensated for the shortcomings, ensuring our trip was unaffected and we felt right at home throughout. A heartfelt thank you to both Eason and Sang! Highly recommend staying here as breakfast is great even for vegetarians. They provided vegetarian steam rolls and vegetarian French bread, which were very delicious. I also highly recommend trying the coconut coffee.

This hotel does not have a clothes dryer on the balcony, and it is prohibited. The fine for drying clothes on the balcony is 80,000 VND per item. You must sign a consent form upon check-in. See the attached photos. People come here to relax and swim, and they have no way to dry their wet clothes. This is insane. Who in hotel management came up with such stupid rules? The beach was fantastic! My kid had a blast collecting clams during the day and chasing small crabs at night. Dining options nearby were a bit limited; we had to take a car to Grand World for meals. Luckily, the room service was excellent – we ordered several times and never had a bad experience, plus delivery was quick. Breakfast was very diverse, even featuring a chocolate fountain and white wine! For my husband's birthday, they decorated with a towel elephant and brought a small cake and fruit, which was a lovely touch. Overall, our experience was great. If I had to pick something to complain about, it would be the room cleaning, which was just okay; they didn't replenish tissues, and the mini-fridge looked a bit old and worn. Also, the airport pick-up required a 72-hour advance booking, and the shuttle for departures only ran every two hours, so we ended up paying for taxis to and from the airport ourselves.

We did not expect much but it really surprised us. It is clear that the Palmy used to be a grand hotel and, yes, it needs some investment in the general areas, but it really met our demands. The room is big and spacious and it was clean. There is a big balcony with two reclining chairs where you can dry your towels or swimming suits. The beds are big and comfy and the towels have excellent quality. The TV has access to YouTube and other apps, which we loved . Our deal included breakfast ( buffet style) which we also loved and the best of all is the front swimming pool with private access to the beach. All in all, top choice for the price you pay. We tried to extend our stay but it was fully booked. We will definitely go back in the future.

I was a bit hesitant when I first booked this hotel for two nights. But as soon as I stepped into the lobby, I was impressed by their warm and enthusiastic service. The hotel's decor has a lovely Vietnamese charm, and the rooms are exceptionally clean. The staff, in particular, are incredibly welcoming and friendly. I ended up extending my stay for another two nights, and I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends when they visit. The hotel breakfast is also fantastic, with a great variety that changes daily. This hotel was truly the highlight of my trip to Phu Quoc! 👍
