Reviews From Real Travelers
Instead of going abroad, it's just right to go to Corona. An inn like an overseas Lele Chateau. Small luxury hotels. A small and attentive inn. Facilities: The minimum required, but that's enough. The interior that has been removed. There is no reason to think why there is such a thing here. The flow line is also good. It is good that the room is not sitting on tatami mats. No souvenir shop. It's okay because you don't need it. There is a spa massage. It deviates from the so-called old hot spring inn. It resembles the atmosphere of the Le Re Chateau Ryokan in Taiwan and the Chateau Hotel in Loire, France. Bath: The room bath is also easy to use. There is one large communal bath and one open-air bath, but it's still good. You can put it in the open air immediately, your feet are safe, it's not cold, and even the elderly can use it alone without worrying about it. I like it more than having a light, clean, modern and old-fashioned lantern. Bar: You can use a free ticket for 1000 yen while talking to the dignified sommelier. They will also serve your favorite wine. Sweets corner: There is a corner like an airline lounge, such as Hokkaido sweets, cheese, and drinks. It was a wide variety and fun. Meals: It seems that the length of the dish from Nada Mango is the length of the dish. If you like Nadaman-san because you have a taste, please. Is it light? I like Wakuden-san and Mieda-san in Sapporo, so I preferred it to have a little more umami and sweetness. It seems that they will also respond to restricted meals, so I would be grateful if they would be close to my hope from the next time. Staff: It seems that there are plenty of drawers with knowledge and experience. It feels good. Hyatt, Zamitui Kyoto, Four Seasons, Peninsula Hong Kong story available lol. Parking: Even if you arrive by car, park yourself. There is no volleyball parking for some reason. It's good because it's close. strange. Why? Impression: There is no country smell. Beauty without clean and extra. When I heard that it was Hong Kong capital, Japanese people loved old Hong Kong, so I wanted to wear elegant in-house clothes that appeared in Chinese dramas and wanted to eat delicious Hong Kong food. However, I imagine that the Hong Kong Madame owner's sense will decide everything. ..

The room is very new, one room and two meals. The hardware is one of the best among Jozankei hot spring hotels, and the scenery outside the window is also very beautiful. You can reach the hot spring street in a few steps. The service is very good, there is a free coffee bar on the first floor, various Hokkaido snacks and drinks are provided for free, and a wine card is provided, which can provide four kinds of wine for free. You can sit outside on the terrace and enjoy the scenery. There is a hot spring in the room and the heating is very good.

Dingshanxi is beautiful. On New Year's Eve, 2 families stayed, two meals and two parkings were outrageous, the room windows and hot springs were facing the mountain, eating and soaking in the hot springs were enjoyable. The self-service snacks and drinks on the first floor of the hotel are super favorite. There is only one place to choose to eat near the hotel, and the taste is not bad. When I left the store, I lost the headset in the room. Thanks to the Ctrip customer service lady and the housekeeper for communicating, and helped me send the headset to the next stop of the hotel. I like 👍

The location is further away from the touristy area of Jozankei proper and you get unobstructed mountain views, natural landscapes, and complete privacy and isolation from the daily hustle bustle and reality. The staff and service are extraordinary and the food was unique, creative, and deliciously blended all of Hokkaido’s best ingredients. I availed of the facial spa treatment in their beauty salon and my stay was made more relaxing and peaceful with the private onsen in my room. Truly unforgettable.

Although the hotel is remote, in the mountains. It is about an hour and a half drive from the airport. But the family lived very well, there is no big hot spring, only one private hot spring in each room. Dinner is a Western-style set meal, and breakfast is Japanese. The room is big and comfortable. The only regret is that the English communication skills of the front desk staff are average. There is no food to buy around, so you have to arrive before the last time for dinner, otherwise you will only be hungry.

Arrived 30 minutes before check-in at 15 o'clock. The car goes to the roofed parking lot in front of the hotel. About 7 cars are surely roofed. 1F dining room to the kitchen counter. Welcome drinks are selected from black bean tea, homemade ginger and raw beer. Mochi beer. The first dish here. 540 potatoes, homemade kelp butter and mardon sea salt. After eating and drinking, go to your room. This hotel has 15 rooms. Limited to over 13 years old. The room we stayed this time is 2F 70 square meters open-air bath. This type is only one room. The environment is the best in front of the elevator and next to the lounge. For the time being, go to the large bath in the basement. Water, tea and ramne were cold at the entrance. The public bath is a replacement system. It was nice to have a wider right. The dryer was Dyson. I returned to the room and bottled beer in the refrigerator with a cold glass. Drinks in the refrigerator are free. Other black uranium, garana, lavender tea. Water is 2 beside the coffee maker. Dinner is 2 part system, from 18 o'clock and 20 o'clock. Everyone started at 18 o'clock because it was not full. Dinner is course dishes. I chose a counter seat. Make and put it in front of you. We eat at a fairly early tempo, but the staff is looking well and the dishes come out with a good feeling. Order white wine from the high ball of toast. It felt good and the staff poured wine. The food is delicious and the staff is not stressed. Comfortable dinner end. 2F Lounge is from 15:00 to Feika time (snack time), 20:30 to bar time, 22:00 to today's night meal time. Because it was a small hour to the bar time, I enjoyed the open-air bath in the room and enjoyed the bar time in the lounge. Sake is sake, shochu, whiskey, beer. Beer is a type poured from the server. We are happy for us who like high balls, carbonated water from the server! The snacks are dry, nuts, homemade potatoes. The night meal is one bite Inari. Sleeping and taking a morning bath. The public bath is from 6 o'clock. It is dangerous to go to bed because it is a replacement system. The man was a large morning. I was happy to have cold bottle milk in front of the entrance 〜 breakfast from 8 o'clock. Miso soup made by melting miso by oneself, rice cooked with a pot. I accidentally replaced and full from the morning. Seasonal fruit and yogurt in the lounge from 9 o'clock are given up. From the first dish to breakfast, I was very satisfied. It was an inn I wanted to come again. it was a treat

We chose this hotel for our 1-night first stay at Jokanzei as we couldn’t book their sister hotel in the first place. Besides, the hotel looks nice on the website. We were sceptical before arrival as there was no reply to my 2 emails sent to hotel in both English and Japanese at least 1 month ago regarding their shuttle bus. However, we only received their Confirmation of booking 1 day before arrival although we have already arrived in Hokkaido and made our transport arrangements. Upon arrival by bus near hotel, it was a good 2nd impression when a Helpful male staff saw us asking the bus driver on the direction to the hotel and he then told us that he could drive us from bus stop to hotel with assistance on our luggage in the cold and snowy weather. Then, Ms Okubo at reception speaks good English and was very helpful and professional. The hotel offers free drinks, afternoon sweets, cocktails and supper rice balls at the lounge. The suite that we booked was spacious and comfortable with Free minibar, Good amenities and outdoor Onsen. Breakfast and dinner were nice and of high quality ingredients and presentation yet can be more tasty. Overall, a good hotel to stay for 1-2 nights within the Jokanzei area.

The hotel is located in the downtown area right next to the beach, so the location is excellent. The check-in starts at 3 PM, just like another hotel; however, there is no warm service, and the room booked from trip.com has been arranged on the lower floor. The results were noisy on the lower floor because we reserved an ocean view, and the hotel swimming pool is just below the balcony. So we asked to change the room to a higher floor after several negotiations with the receptionist and added additional costs. There are no highlights about the hotel facility and average five-star rating. We swim more by the swimming pool than at the beach because the seawater quality is not that good. For the morning breakfast, there are many options, but nothing outstanding. Overall, it's a good hotel.

Stayed here for five days over the Christmas holiday and I couldn’t have been more pleased! The hotel itself is beautiful, they have or will help you sort out anything you need, and the service was wonderful. The rooms are are very clean and the view of the ocean every morning was magical. Finally, it’s a fantastic location in regard to having the airport nearby and the night market not too far either. Highly recommend. Thank you again to everyone at the hotel, our stay was just perfect.

This resort is modern and luxury with pleasing architecture and garden landscaping. The only downside is that the beach eroded badly and dangerous to walk on (the resort closed the beach area). You can only enjoy watching the sunset from the bar and pool area. Hope the resort could work on this issue. The resort without the beach is definitely 5 star. But i have to give 4 star just because the beachfront erosion issue (as beach is an attraction for choosing a luxury stay). The room has everything. The bed also great and of quality, the sleep definitely not affected. The resort is close to the airport less than 15mins to reach airport. It also has a sourvenir shop, children area and some other amenities inside that makes it all-in-one resort. The staffs and service are also perfect. Suggestion: Hope the resort could seal the door from outside noise. Could hear people talking outside. Another, if erosion is too bad, then resort at least build the sea front deck as a new attraction instead of beach, so that guest still can enjoy the ocean, breeze and sea front and its 5 stars hotel will not impacted. Also, please ensure the foods are handled with care in the kitchen, as there was hair in my soup.

Convenient as opposite of the resort are shops with food and spa options - just walk outside like a minute to reach. Id prefer Khem Beach but Sonasea Beach is still acceptable with the pretty sunset. Overall was a nice stay and the breakfast buffet was filled with loads of choices.

Very good experience, worth for money. We booked a bungalow next to the ocean side swimming pool with good view and it was really suitable for family with kid. 3 minutes walk to either swimming pool or beach and also ocean bar. There is also shuttle driving you from the lobby to the room, no need to worry about carrying heavy luggage. Breakfast time is just full of people, personally suggest to have breakfast after 9:30. The best thing of breakfast is they have different pho everyday so you can try more. Been to all catering, food and drinks were good and not expensive. Also enjoyed spa at the hotel, the staff are nice. Highly recommend!!!!!

The service overall at the hotel was fine. I was able to take a shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. Check-in was simple and a breeze. Email communication is however, subpar. I emailed the hotel about how to reserve a shuttle 4 days before my arrival, but didn't get a response until 2 days after I left (a total of about a week when I first emailed). I even responded by saying I had already left but did not receive any response apologizing for the delay. This is not service expected from a 5-star hotel. Check-out was another issue. I was standing in line while there was a window open with another agent, yet, he was just standing there posing for photos taken by another employee. Maybe they were taking photos for the hotel, but they should have checked me out when they saw me standing in line first. The breakfast buffet was good and had a wide variety of Asian and Western foods.

breakfast buffet was amazing. lots of choices to choose from, eggs cooked to order and fresh pho to satisfy your soup needs. i personally had two bowls of chicken pho to myself. they have different vietnamese banhs made daily, from banh hot, banh xeo, and banh uot. all very delicious. For foreigners that want the typical american breakfast they have all of this items as well from bacon, eggs, sausages and waffles. definitely recommend the buffet here

the massage environment was great, the actual massage fell short. The breakfast buffet was a standout, offering a variety of tasty options. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience was dampened by a broken toilet flush that remained unfixed despite reminders. Overall, a mix of highs and lows during my stay.

What an amazing oasis this resort is. From the check in to check out this resort and the staff service are faultless. I’ve never stayed somewhere with such friendly and helpful staff. The buffet breakfast was fabulous and the room and amenities are great. It’s a little out of the way for ears other than the resort which was a bit challenging with some fussy kids but we made a few trips into Duong Dong for a change of food scene. The pools are unbelievable although warm (as is the ocean) if you don’t like that then may not be for you. Only issue was the pool only being available until 7pm. Having such a beautiful setting, we wanted to swim a little in the evenings after dinner but that’s their rules. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough. Ps the kayaking (free) was an added bonus.

I had a very nice stay at Cassia. The atmosphere was relaxing yet still a touch lively, and everything was quite clean during my stay, aside from one day the private beach didn't seem to be cleaned, but it was during the holidays (so we assumed some staff were able to stay home, which is good). I think the location here is quite important, as it's close to everything you could need in case you want to try different foods/restaurants (strongly recommend, though Spice House dishes and service were excellent!) or go to a different beach bar (Malabar had some slightly irregular hours it seemed, no prob). You are able to walk either direction on the beach to search for other decent options. It felt like Cassia probably had the nicest grounds on Long Beach. The service was really great though, everyone was patient and friendly, even if communication was a bit of a struggle at times (not at all for lack of effort). It's a big reason why I'd love to book again next time.

Pros: - good location, walking distance to Grand World - low price, best if you don’t spend much time at the hotel and mostly out and about - clean and modern decor Cons: - no aircon in corridor and elevator, it can be very uncomfortable to step in the elevator on hot days - no room service, no service at pool area, no option to pay for food and beverage at check out. - minibar is empty, instant coffee and tea bags are available yet no milk. When we requested milk for our cup of tea, the reception staff advised we would need to go to the bar (ground floor) to purchase milk at own cost. Milk is essential and it has always been provided free of charge wherever we’ve been (Bali, Singapore, Australia, etc.) - mid-stay ROOM INSPECTION. This is very UNPLEASANT practice to Westerners and should be stopped. Not sure if this is normal in Vietnam, but it is very displeasing and annoying to us (Australians). We often stayed a few weeks to months in Bali and other Asian countries, we’ve never had room inspection where 2 staff entered our room, 1 of them walked around the room pretending to check the skirting board with a screwdriver while the other was casing the room (it was obvious that they wanted to check to room). - poor English proficiency. Only one reception staff can speak English well, the rest of the staff don’t. My husband was quite frustrated during our stay because he couldn’t communicate with staff. We’ve stayed in Bali and other Asian countries, all of their staff are fluent in English including security and housekeeping staff. - lack of attention to food safety. Signage is very small. No cover when the meals bought outside to the pool area. Food was not kept at optimum temperature can cause bacteria to grow to dangerous levels that can cause illness. - lack of knowledge about beverage. Staff didn’t understand my husband’s order of Bourbon + Cola (very common drinks to Westerners) and advised they don’t have Bourbon. When my husband went to the bar with the staff, there was a big Bourbon bottle sitting on the shelf! - lack of customer service. Staff was not attentive to customers, my husband had to walked to the restaurant to get staff attention when we wanted food and drinks while we were at the pool. Staff should walk around and simply check in with customers. Staff didn’t greet customers when they walk past, again when we were in Bali and other Asian countries, their staff (everyone including housekeeping staff) always said good morning, good afternoon or good evening. - FACIAL BIOMETRICS RECOGNITION was an entry requirement to enter buffet breakfast. This should be disclosed in booking description including third-party websites like Agoda, Booking.com, etc. No information on Facial Biometrics Recognition are found anywhere or has ever been communicated to us prior to checking in. I travel the world with Marriott brand only, this is the very disappointed Sheraton Phu Quoc that I happen to stay, I booked a family suite oceanfront during June1-5,2023. This review written on June 2,2023. It isn’t 5 star resort. Marriott Should not put their name on it, because it degrade the quality of Marriott Brand. We check in during lunch and went to Garden restaurant, the lunch buffer have nothing worth to eat so we order from menu total of 5 hot dish for 5 of us, only 3 dish come out 20 minute, 1 dish come out 45 minute later and final dish never come. So 1 of us can’t have lunch. We lelf the restaurant and came to our SUITE all the keys doesn’t work so after the trip to front desk again finally we got in the suite. The room temperature was at 25C degrees and keep go up. Call the maintenance no help there The resort is old and need upgrade ASAP including AC units. We went down to front desk and request to change the room, they told us to leave our phone number so they can contact us regarding the room transfer. We never received the call, we have to went out to find a decent place for our dinner because we are not sure about restaurant dinner buffet!!! So by the time get to the room we too tired to call and bother the front desk. I am a Platium Bonvoy of the Marriott. It mean I stay at least 50 nights per year with Marriott. This is the first time I feel like I got cheat out of 5 stars resort. So today I will ask them to cancel the rest of the stay and move to another resort, hopefully JW Marriott in the other end of the island. My review is not prejudiced about the staff or Food not even the normal wear and tear of the resort but mainly with the management team. On the small note to resort management director. You should try your own food in the restaurant including the ice cream in the snack bar, I think the Ice cream was there too long. I wish all the best to my fellow guess and hope that you will be better luck then me. After my first impression with The 5 star resort. I would like update my review. Just one action of the top team management in breakfast room, it change my opinion and I am very appreciated his customer services. His name is Mr Hoang. He fresh up my family’s morning with an offer a cup of Green Tea, when services like that happen, it took out of all the bad experience and show you how great the staff can brighten your day. Furthermore in the long conversation he explains to me the new management just took over last September 2022 and in process of remodel the resort. Also the staff had been trained and continue to update their customers services. Therefore I would like to update my review with a 5 stars and continue to believe in Marriott branding Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach. This is on my day 4 at the resort and I am very happy to share with everyone. Thank you for read my review and after all we have a happy ending. My best wish remain with the staff of the Hotel specifically with the Breakfast room management

The hotel/villa is situated at the north of the island closer to the other Vinworld attractions like safari, amusement park, grand world etc. But it is far from the city centre where the actual fun is. Service is mediocre considering the price paid. The beach is ok and clean. Worst part was the cleaning of the villa after we left. We were surprised to see that they never cared about cleaning the pool area. The basic utensils in the villa were also chargeable. Food in the restaurant had limited vegetarian options. Every extra service was priced very high. It is a skip from my side.
