I had high expectation prior to staying this hotel as it should be beyond 5 star hotel. After arriving the hotel later than expected, I would like to do quick check-in, dropping my luggages and having another meeting. However I was told to wait as there were other guests waiting for check-in. I don’t understand why they could have more check-in counters instead of 2 only.
I came back later, everything was ok. I was asked whether I would like to have something to drink in my room and I asked for tea, and not delivered.
In morning, I would like to have coffee in my room, unfortunately the coffee maker machine was out of order. I had to call butler for a mug of coffee. However, this issue was fixed during the day.
Breakfast was ok but the place is crowded.
After checkout, I requested a shuttle service to KL Sentral Station (actually it is walking distance), I was told it will be 10 minutes, again I have waited for 30 minutes until one of the staffs noticed and called the van.
Overall the hotel was great but my experience with services from this hotel was far disappointed.

Facilities: The room truly lives up to the St. Regis standard. The signature scent is as delightful as always.
Cleanliness: The hygiene is excellent.
Environment: The environment is quite good, and I personally find the location to be excellent. It's not too far from KLCC, yet it's quiet, which I really appreciate.
Service: The service is great; everyone is very friendly and courteous.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm and friendly service — from the concierge right up to the front office. Kudos to the hotel manager, Ms. Lisa, and her amazing team for the wonderful hospitality during our check-in. The early check-in was a great bonus, and the complimentary parking throughout our stay was much appreciated.
Our room was beautiful, vibrant, and offered a lovely view of the KL Tower. I was pleasantly surprised to find the extra bed already prepared well before our arrival — such thoughtful attention to detail! Special thanks to the team member who took my call the night before check-in. She listened attentively to my requests and ensured everything was arranged accordingly, even though I didn’t catch her name.
The Front Office and Housekeeping teams were quick to respond to our additional requests for amenities, which added to the overall great experience.
My girlfriends and I truly enjoyed our stay at W Kuala Lumpur. Thank you for making it a memorable one!

I had a wonderful 16th anniversary celebration this year. Thank you to hotel staff for accommodating to my requests and never fail to smile when seeing us. We even got a welcome gift and decor! Stay was comfortable, services were awesome and amenities are clean. Room size was big with unique design such as toilet, study/pantry table area and walk-in wardrobe. Definitely a visit worth on another trip for those intending to have nearby stay to Suria KLCC which is only 5mins away, eateries easily available till late night.
Special thanks to concierge staff, who welcomed us and brought us all the way up to level 8 lobby upon arrival. To night shift manager Imran, for the late checkout and the smooth check in when we arrived late.
Keep up the good team effort!

Reviews From Real Travelers
I stayed at Crockfords Hotel Genting in early October 2025 and was genuinely disappointed by the level of service — especially for a hotel that claims to be Malaysia’s leading luxury property.
On 3 October, I approached the concierge Duty Manager around 9:40am regarding the hotel Wi-Fi, which kept showing an “invalid credentials” error. Instead of taking the initiative to verify the problem — which turned out to be something as simple as incorrect login details given at check-in — he insisted that the IT team would need to come into my room to fix it.
Later in the day, another staff member resolved the issue within minutes by simply checking the credentials. It’s baffling how the Duty Manager couldn’t do something that basic.
Throughout my stay, I also noticed that many of the staff seemed lost and unsure of how to handle simple situations — almost like the blind leading the blind. There was a clear lack of coordination and communication among them.
The breakfast experience was another major letdown. I had breakfast there for three consecutive days, and throughout, the food was never hot — the noodles in soup were the only consistently warm item served. To make matters worse, the staff did not communicate properly among themselves. On one morning, we were told to wait while a table by the window was being cleared for us. After waiting a good five minutes, another group of guests was allowed to take the exact table we were waiting for. The explanation given was simply that “the other guests wanted the table.” Completely unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed calibre.
The only saving grace was the Duty Manager working on 5 Oct and overseeing the breakfast buffet, who was attentive, proactive, and took the initiative to check if guests needed drinks or assistance. His professionalism truly stood out amidst the confusion elsewhere.
For a hotel that boasts winning the Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star Award seven years in a row, this experience was frankly a joke. The gap between Crockfords’ reputation and its actual service standards is staggering.
Truly disappointing and nowhere near what one would expect from a so-called luxury hotel.
PS: At least the view was great.

Genting Crockfords is perfect for families, comfortably accommodating 2 adults and 2 children. Its location near SkyAvenue makes it convenient for both adults (casino) and kids (SkyWorlds Theme Park). The welcoming plate of fruits and macarons was a hit with our kids, and we were happy to learn we could request them again for the next day.
The staff were friendly and quick to respond to requests like extra blankets and mineral water, ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, it’s a great mix of luxury and convenience, and we highly recommend it for a family trip!
PS:The view in the room is Awesome!

Park Hyatt is a top brand name and housed inside an Iconic building should be a really exiting but the management is quite messy. Staff were quite courteous but check in was delayed although we arrived at 3p.m. sharp, we were not able to go to our room until 4p.m. The room rates are very high and we expect prompt services which we did not get. As for the swimming pool, there are sharp edges under water which I feel is quite dangerous.

Experience throughout my stay was lovely, except for 1 flaw, they didn't close my door after turning down my bed. Was shocked to see my door opened ,left ajar, upon returning from dinner at Park Lounge. Bummer!
Manager, guest experience, Zuhlkaimy upgraded us to a delightful deluxe room as i celebrated my 27th anniversary.

The room was adequately clean, and the hotel's location was convenient. However, the service was truly awful. I waited on the ground floor for ages to get my luggage, but no one was there. When I went to find a staff member, they completely ignored me. They were just standing around, seemingly doing nothing, and no one offered to help with my bags! For the previous two nights, I had stayed at the Ritz-Carlton; while the hotel's ambiance was just average, the service there was genuinely excellent.

My stay in the room was wonderful. Everything was top-notch: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The furniture and appliances were in great condition, the bedding was fresh, and there were no unpleasant smells. It was quiet and perfect for rest. I was very impressed and would be happy to stay here again.

Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur – A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of the City
The hotel is beautifully located in the Golden Triangle, just across from Pavilion KL, with stunning views of the Petronas Twin Towers. It’s slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of Bukit Bintang, yet still close enough for easy access — a perfect balance between convenience and tranquility.
Upon check-in, guests are offered a selection of incense and essential oils for their room — a lovely and thoughtful personal touch. We stayed in the Signature Banyan Retreat, which was cozy, comfortable, and came with all the amenities you’d expect, plus a beautiful view of KL’s night skyline.
We did encounter a minor issue on our first night when the room’s light switches stopped working, including the master switch. The maintenance engineer arrived promptly, even though it was close to midnight, and quickly resolved the issue with a system reset. Really appreciate how efficient and polite he was!
We also dined at Torito, the hotel’s Peruvian-Japanese restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The ceviche clásico is a must-try — so refreshing and full of flavor. The lomo saltado featured perfectly cooked medium-rare beef tenderloin, and the stone ceviche, a warm twist on the classic, was equally impressive. Unfortunately, we were too full to try dessert, but the attentive service made the meal memorable.
Special thanks to Izat (Front Desk), Hakim (Breakfast), and all the other staff members whose names we didn’t catch, for their warmth, patience, and genuine hospitality. Their friendly smiles and willingness to help made our stay at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur truly enjoyable.

After staying at Banyan Tree Phuket, I've grown to love the brand. This Banyan Tree in Kuala Lumpur has an excellent location, with a direct covered walkway to Pavilion Mall. In the evenings, they diffuse essential oils, which really adds to the holiday vibe. Breakfast is à la carte, ensuring quality. The room views are superb, offering a panoramic view of all the iconic landmarks. When I went to the gym at night, I was planning to check out the pool, which faces the Petronas Towers – it's absolutely stunning.
However, I had an unpleasant experience with the service. I booked the room over a month in advance, but the front desk informed me there were no king-sized beds available and wanted to put us in a twin room, suggesting we change rooms the next day. There was no apology or acknowledgment of their mistake. I clearly stated that customers shouldn't have to bear the consequences of their operational errors and demanded a proper resolution. Only after I repeatedly refused their unreasonable proposal did they upgrade us to a suite with a king-sized bed. Although the hotel apologized afterward, this initial experience was very disappointing, as their approach and attitude to handling the problem from the beginning were completely wrong.

Everything is fantastic from the moment you stepped into the lobby where you are greeted and guided to the reception, there are wide spread of food for buffet breakfast, hotel guest have free access to sky51 bar with unblocked view of twin tower, the pool is not big but another amazing view of KL tower and medeka tower as well, hotel is within walking distance to KLCC and Pavilion mall, a plus point for shoppers.
However i would like to point a couple of feedbacks about the room that the hotel can look into it, 1) hair dryer is not as strong, 2nd night, burnt smell and a little smoke came out before we requested for a replacement, 2) the hair care shampoo and conditioner provided by the hotel is not really good too, will need to bring your hair care products if you care for your hair. Overall its still a great stay at EQ, double thumbs up for their 5 star hospitability.

This hotel is 500 per night without breakfast, which is very good, but the price increased five times during the exhibition! ! Breakfast costs 1500 rubles.
The hotel lobby is spacious and grand, the room has a big bed, spacious and nice.
The only drawback may be that the hair dryer is too weak and has very low power.
There is a Russian guy working at the front desk, he is super handsome!

I will tell you my experience and the first case in the entire history of my staying in different hotels in the world for several years...and the only case where I will never stay in this hotel again.
I first met the Residence Hotel in Yekaterinburg in late July 2021. I always book a room through the Trip Com app, but this time, since I plan to arrive in the city at 1 AM, I decided to call the hotel front desk directly and ask about staying for 0.5 days-this is the normal practice of any hotel chain , But not here.
In the phone conversation, by the way, Natalia and I wrote down for each firefighter (I think), I clarified... In the application, the price of my accommodation is 9900 rubles (day) and can Go to a meeting at the hotel and give a 50% discount (5000 rubles) if I go after 2:00 in the evening... Natalia called back after some and confirmed that she has coordinated the management of this issue and their waiting time for me. Okay, I think, but it is also logical, because there is a law that directly requires the hotel to charge guests no more than 50% of the day’s fee for check-out hour set hotel-as A rule, it is 12-14 hours a day.
Arrived at the hotel at 02:00 in the evening, and the front desk was shocked. The accommodation fee of this hotel is 9987 rubles per night (that is, staying for 10 hours and check-out), and the cost of a whole day is 9900 rubles on my application. So no one can solve the problem at night, the receptionist is generally incompetent and decided to postpone the question until the morning, but they asked me to sign under the phrase that the hotel staff warned me that she announced the amount to me, that is, in her opinion, it is correct with her Colleagues agree-Natalia. But I went to bed without signing the customer's card.
In the morning I met Anastasia, an arrogant receptionist, looking at you as if you were a servant, not a guest in a five-star hotel. They tried to lift my full payment... They even kept my things and put them in the locker until the management solved the problem-this is already an article, taking into account the phone input and Confirmed that the amount of stay is 5000 rubles for 0.5 days, in the absence of my signature in the corresponding column check-in and the law of the Russian Federation regarding payment rules that will be 0.5 days after 00:00 and pay no more than 50% of the guest.
As a result, they called me 2 hours later and asked me to pick up things from the locker after paying 5500 rubles. At the time of payment, Anastasia, the hotel's senior employee... grinned, trying to make jokes... as if I didn't live here for status, in general I must stay two stars.
This is the first time I have encountered this kind of service. During my travels to different countries, I have stayed in four-star and five-star hotels.
The story does not end there...
On August 7, 2021, I decided to give the hotel a second chance to register for a one-day stay in my Trip Com app for 12,500 rubles. When checking in at the reception, the same Natalia, obviously did not recognize me immediately...because I accidentally booked a room a week later and it was impossible to cancel the reservation (non-refundable price), Natalia went The meeting was resolved and I did not have any problems. This is the normal practice of hotels and international airlines.
But less than 3 hours after check-in, the check-in situation has undergone a fundamental change. Natalia invites me to repay the accommodation fee that I have already paid, not at the price in the application, but at the hotel price of 15,000 rubles. For this question, what does this have to do with..., the answer is shocking-”You have to check in within a week, so either pay or leave.” The question arises: Why do you want to fill me and sign me in it? The signature of the check-in procedure is to be repeated after 3 hours from me to get repaid for more than my application. As a result, after indicating to Natalya that my booking is non-refundable and the payment has been charged from me, the problem seems to continue into the morning.

I was fully delighted with my stay at the Vysotsky Hotel. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel team offering an appreciation for an incredible Junior room with a stunning view on both sides of the city. It was a real gift from each side opened a unique panoramic view that gave a special atmosphere to my rest.
The room was not only beautiful, but also incredibly comfortable here was everything to feel like home, but at the same time in the atmosphere of true luxury. Attention to the details in the interior, the quality of service and the general mood of the hotel have made my stay truly unforgettable.
I would like to note Alexander on the respiratory his delicacy and sincere care created a sense of warm reception from the first minutes. He paid great attention to all my wishes, was incredibly polite, obstructive and professional. Thanks to him, I felt really welcome. Such staff is the real person of the hotel, and it is thanks to such people who want to come back again and again.
Special thanks to the whole team for the atmosphere of comfort, attention and perfect service. The ”Vysotsky” is not just a high-class accommodation, it is a real sense of concern, style and level.
Thank you for the warm reception and comfort you want to return to. Goodbye!FromNZD 242

I needed a hotel near the airport and near the Siberian cemetery, so for me the location was very attractive. The settlement passed quickly and kindly, the room itself is beautiful: comfortable large bed, comfortablely located uplets, air conditioning, dense curtains, good lighting.
I arrived late, so the corporation, who was on this day, had already ended and was quiet.
A little confused with breakfast. The choice is very large: cheese on milk and water, fruits, sausages, omlets, sparkling and so on... but it's all unflavorable as if it's cheap food. But maybe it's my tastes.FromNZD 135
