The room was clean, cozy, and tidy. Although it was a bit small, it had everything we needed. (Don't complain about the lack of an elevator, it's a typical old Soviet building! 🙂↔️) We received very detailed instructions before check-in. Most importantly, the location was excellent – many attractions and restaurants were within walking distance!

This famous hotel is the pride of Kazakhstan. It boasts a superb location in the city center with wonderful views from the windows. Housekeeping is daily. There's a kettle in the room, but tea bags aren't replenished. Water was provided daily, and there was always hot water. My room was on the 13th floor. The room is in dire need of renovation – it's old and dilapidated. The plumbing is chipped, and the walls are cracked. My request for a higher floor was ignored, with staff claiming no other rooms were available, even though they were. However, the views from the window are good, overlooking Kok Tobe mountain and the TV tower. A special shout-out to the hotel's restaurant! It's simply 10 out of 10! I haven't encountered such a variety and deliciousness of dishes in any other 5-star hotel. The restaurant is amazing! Breakfast is served from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, which is great! Currently (July 2026), there's renovation happening in the elevator lobby, but it doesn't affect the quality of our stay at all. Kudos to them for that!

Perfect stay at the Novotel city centre, upon checking in Armand at reception noticed it was my daughter’s birthday few days ago so he gave my daughter & son as toy gift which was very sweet! The hotel has decent clean rooms & it’s in the perfect location, the Koke tobe cable carts are next door & Dostyk mall is a 15mins walk away. The hotel had a great breakfast spread with fresh pastries and a variety of food choices, lunch & dinner menu can be improved a little but still ok it just has a limited variety. Unfortunately, the pool & spa was under maintenance so was not open so we couldn’t use. Also thanks to Armand we got a late check out for both our rooms! A very nice jolly chap!

I chose the Holiday Inn Almaty for my business trip to Almaty this time, and my stay exceeded expectations, so I just had to share! ✨ The location is absolutely fantastic 👍, right in the city center business district. It's just a ten-minute walk to Nurly Tau Business Center and only five minutes to Republic Square, making it incredibly convenient for visiting nearby consulates or sightseeing. From the hotel lobby's floor-to-ceiling windows, you can even see the continuous mountain range of the Tianshan Mountains in the distance. Every morning, opening the window brings a refreshing burst of green, instantly dispelling any travel fatigue. The check-in staff were incredibly welcoming. Even though I arrived late at night, the process was quick, and they even offered to help me with my luggage to the room. Their English communication was smooth, and they offered many helpful travel tips – attention to detail was clearly a priority. My room was a good size, and the bedding was soft and comfortable; I sank into a deep sleep the moment I lay down, allowing my muscles to fully relax after a day of traveling. The room facilities were comprehensive, with stable air conditioning/heating and 24-hour hot water. The Wi-Fi signal was also good, perfect for work or streaming videos without interruption. The hotel's gym equipment was relatively new; a morning workout left me feeling light and ready for an energetic day! 💪 The breakfast selection was extensive, ranging from Western pastries and bacon to local specialties. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was great – I could eat well and fuel up for the day's activities. 🍞 If I had to mention a minor drawback, some of the facilities showed a bit of age, and the hotel doesn't have a swimming pool, but for a business trip, it was perfectly adequate. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, impeccable service, and a prime location. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip to Almaty, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting for travel or business! 👏

Laundry at the hotel is expensive, so I used the dry cleaning service inside the supermarket before Green Bazaar. They washed, dried, and folded my clothes in two hours for 6000 tenge. I booked Hotel Voyage online. Although I planned to stay in Almaty for about two days, I initially booked only one night. The reason was simple: I have found that many hotels look much better online than they do in reality, so I wanted to see the actual conditions before extending my stay. I arrived in Almaty from Paris via Istanbul at around 5:00 a.m. When I reached the hotel, the receptionist told me that if I wanted to check in early, I would have to pay an additional fee equal to about 50% of the room rate. I could not afford that extra charge. After discussing the situation for a while, I asked if they could contact the hotel manager. Eventually, the receptionist said that I could stay in the room for the time being, but she could not make the final decision until the manager arrived at around 8:30 a.m. I agreed and stayed in the room. At about 8:30 a.m., I went back to the front desk and met a very friendly young woman named Gaukhar, who spoke excellent English. After I explained my situation, she kindly told me that I would not have to pay the early check-in fee and warmly invited me to enjoy breakfast. Her attitude was professional, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. At first, I assumed she was the hotel manager, but I later learned that she was not. It seemed that she had already discussed my situation with the manager before speaking with me. Because of this positive experience, I decided to extend my stay for another night, making my total stay two nights. Overall, I was very satisfied with Hotel Voyage. The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the hot and cold water both had excellent pressure, and the room was equipped with a safety deposit box and everything I needed. Every member of the staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was also clean, fresh, and enjoyable. I can confidently recommend Hotel Voyage to anyone visiting Almaty. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time! The location is amazing, the room was much larger than expected, clean and odor-free, and the toiletries had a refreshing citrus scent. It also had a mini-fridge and screen mirroring function. The bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and I slept soundly after a long journey, feeling refreshed and ready to explore the sights the next day. The amenities were also very thoughtful. Free parking was super convenient, and the security guard even proactively directed parking spaces. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the fried rice and beef noodles were delicious – perfect for a satisfying meal before heading out to explore. From service to facilities to location, the value for money was outstanding! I had no disappointments whatsoever!
