Our stay at La Jolla Beach and tennis club was perfection. Check-in was a breeze and the gentleman that checked us in was super nice and helpful. We had a room with a kitchenette and it was big and comfortable for us. Yes, the rooms could use renovations. The carpets are old and in some spots had tears along the edges. Our room had a slight musky smell and to me it’s from the old carpeting. The furniture is old and just the overall room def needs updating. However, I will say everything was very clean. I had no issues with the cleanliness and the service provided by the room attendant throughout our stay. Breakfast and service at the restaurant was very good as well. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Now let’s talk about what truly makes this place a gem. It’s the beautiful beachfront property. You’re literally steps from the beach. So relaxing and beautiful and worth a million bucks. The amenities are great and though also showing a little dated was not a big deal for us. Dinner at The Marine Room was perfection and delicious. Honestly, I can’t wait to come back.

This hotel has a noble feel! The friends who went there fell in love, saying they liked it more than Ritz-Carlton in Santa Barbara. I heard that there are many swimming pools, but we only saw one. We participated in a qigong meditation at 9:00 in the morning, and it felt very good. There are free yoga classes and the like. Not boring There are some restaurants to eat and drink ten minutes drive from the hotel. The environment is also super nice in that area, and it feels like a rich area. A hotel worth visiting. There is no drinking water in the room, there is a refrigerator, a coffee machine and a microwave. There is no parking lot in the hotel. You need to park your car on the roadside behind the hotel. If there are too many guests, parking is also a problem. The hotel that sent the children to school is very close to UCSD. The hotel environment is very good. Many people are married. It seems that it is a good hotel in the local area. Unfortunately, accompanying children at school every day, I have not had time to visit the hotel to enjoy the SPA.
