The place seems very unorganized. Tammy Adams is supposed to be the manager but we stayed 3 weeks and many things were not up to Hilton standards We had no phone , clock or desk lamp. I tried to call the front desk several times and let the phone ring at least 20 times each time and no one answered. I was a cancer patient and really was not well. I was taking meds every hour and a half day and night. Not having a clock was very difficult in the night. A friend sent flowers and she hadn’t heard from me so she actually called to find out that they had arrived so my husband went to get them. David, at the desk, said he’d come up to tell me but I he didn’t leave me sticky note on the door. If I had a phone , like at other hotels, I would have been left a message. We were told housekeeping would come on Thursday, then Friday then finally came on Saturday. I was really suffering and bed ridden. The housekeeper Allie was so accommodating and helpful. I want to compliment her. I asked about why she hadn’t come and she said she’d been assigned 413 not 415 those days. The next week no service until Monday of the following week then again on Wednesday. The day before we left. It seems like there is no house keeping supervisor. I do want to compliment Crystal who was serving breakfast and Wednesday evening social refreshments She is very friendly and helpful she makes sure the food is great. Home made cookies a favorite. Even though CRol Nicholson is the event manager, she is very friendly to the guests and staff. She helped us get our reservations straightened out because we had to stay the 2 weekends We could have been with out a room if Carol hadn’t fixed it. My husband had tried to arrange the reservations with Anita but not done right. A suggestion for the custodian. The lobby restroom floor was very wet after he mopped yes there was a cone saying wet floor but I suggest he be given a dry mop to use after using the wet one. A disabled lady had to use it and had to grab the sink. It’s not hard to dry the floor!!! I’m disappointed that the quality of this Hilton has dropped so much. We’ve been going there over 5 years because of my health problems.

Friendly staff. Strange location. You'll have to drive to any restaurants/groceries/fuel. Impressive breakfast. Coffee available throughout the day. It's in a quiet part of Reno, which we appreciated. We had our kids with us and it was nice not to be surrounded by city noise. You'll need to drive to any restaurants or grocery stores. The room was spacious and clean. Full size fridge, microwave, and 2 burner stovetop. We didn't need to cook, but it would be a nice option if you stay for an extended time. Small pool, no hot tub/jacuzzi. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Our group from the Bay area goes to Reno twice a year for the past 20 years. Late August for golf/fantasy football draft and in March for March Madness. This was our first time staying at The Eldorado thanks to the Executive ****** Host Grant Wellington. I rarely give 5-star reviews. The rooms are perfectly cleaned, with comfortable beds and bedding, strong water pressure, beautiful views, etc. The world-class dining. Yes, I said world-class dining was off the charts. La Strada was one of the best Italian restaurants on this side of the pond. We are all foodies from the bay. The all around experience was perfect. Roxy is also very good. We are looking forward to returning for March Madness!

Adequate for the basic gambling trip to Reno via train and a couple games for the Reno Aces. Super enhanced air exchange system really cut the cigarette smoke. Restaurants are a little hit and miss, some open limited schedules, others understaffed, and busy. But food was fine. Maid service was very fast and efficient. Front desk was very busy, but very helpful. The hotel is worn. In our room the safe didn't work properly...took an hour to even reach anyone at maintenance...automatic text concierge just stopped responding. Calls through hotel operator got dropped 4 straight times. 15 minutes on hold. Then an hour wait for anyone to actually show up in the room. And only fixed one of two problems! Drawers didn't work. Cabinet door hanging on by half an hinge. Then, a resort fee!

Earlier I posted a negative review if the Atlantis Hotel & Resort. Same day, few hours later, went to Silver legacy.I found this ****** must looser than Atlantis! If I return to Reno, I will avoid Atlantis and spend more time and money in the Silver Legacy. I found the El Dorado had tight slots too! No recommendation there!

Really enjoyed our time here. Nice hotel and a city within itself. Connected to 2 other hotels so you can see them without going outside which was nice. Great size room and very clean. They even let us do a late checkout due to late flights. Every staff member we came in contact with was so very friendly! Would definately recommend this place and if in the area again, would definately stay here again.

For context, my husband is a Marriott lifetime platinum and we have certain expectations when staying at a Marriott chain hotel. The Renaissance Reno is equivalent in our mind to a Marriott hotel but it failed to deliver the same quality during our stay. The positive: the hotel has been renovated with its unique style and the lobby is stunning. Our room was spacious, comfortable and updated The negative: There were 2 front desks in the lobby on each side of the entrance and it was confusing where to go for the check-in. This applies to service as well as quality of the food and available options. The worst offender has to be the internet TV. This trip was for us to relax, stay in and catch up on some movie watching. It was the worst experience ever! It took us about 5 hours to watch a 2.5 hour-movie. We thought it was just an a one-time problem but it happened to any movie on any internet channel. This is no exaggeration: the movie would freeze every minute which we got used to, but then it would freeze long enough to display an error, at which point you have to start over from beginning and fast-forward to where it was left off. Lastly, we did not mind paying the $15 self parking but started to notice there were outside people not staying at the hotel parking for free.

This is a turn key Destination, High end stylish Hotel, Luxury Spa and fitness center, High end The Shore Restaurant and bar, Executive lounge with morning breakfast and evening canapés, Huge Bocci gaming area, many other activity games, bar and pub grub. The moment I walked I felt like family. The front desk staff, were super friendly and helpful. The Bell Captain was much more than luggage helpful, great area tour guide and local expert. I even met the Director of operations and GM of the hotel who paid attention to every detail of my stay. I Love this place so much I moved permanently!

Clerk at checkin was NOT friendly. Did not ask if we'd been to this hotel before, did NOT offer directions to the elevator, which are around the corner from the front desk, not visible and not obvious when looking for them. we wandered around with our luggage for several minutes before an employee helped us. This town has a severe shortage of taxi cabs, making getting anywhere difficult to impossible. There are no nearby restaurants, forcing guests to dine at their overpriced eateries.

it was the first time after the pandemic, it was super clean and if I can compare it with the Vegas experience; the staff was very friendly. we tried almost all dine-in restaurants, they used fresh ingredients highly recommend trying them all.

Hotel is under construction and we stayed knowing this. However, at 5:15am, beeping noises from an outdoor boom scaffold was annoying since it was continuous until we left that morning. Called the front desk and management wasn't expected in until 9am. That being said, the rest of the stay was comfortable and pleasant. The hotel is small compared to others, but it's easy to find your room. Covid has changed room service and that still takes getting used to. The ****** is small, but had fun at their slots (which means we won!). Yes, I will stay here again!!

The hardware of the hotel is very good, and the location is also very good. Opposite the gate is a Chinese restaurant in Taiwan 101. The lion's head inside is very good. Other dishes are too salty, but it's okay! The casino on the first floor of the hotel is OK, there are not many people, this hotel is worth staying again, so I stayed here for two days

We booked two rooms for a week through RCI on checking the ranking given by RCI. Property has been rated Gold Crown for more than a decade. However our experience was mixed. Pros Spacious studio rooms with full furnishing. Furnishing is dated but well maintained. Location is big positive as nearby riverside is hub of all activities. Restaurants serving all type of cuisines are within walking distance. Parking is within the building. Activity center is well maintained. Cons.. No service for the entire period of seven days. No staff is seen with masks. Covid seems to be more of an excuse. Front office staff although courteous and helpful has been instructed to deny basic services to timeshare clients. We could see other guests also pleading to lend vacuum cleaner for self cleaning the rooms. We went through the same stress. Only saving grace was offer from front office to change the rooms. Final recommendation... it is okay to book this place for couple of days. Avoid if you are planning long stay.

Hotel was so quiet it seems like it was empty. Seems as all guess were very courteous with keeping noise levels very low. Parking garage is narrow requiring one car at a time to exit, but hotel staff provided clear instructions to avoid any accidents when passing through. Staff was very friendly. Lounge was kepted clean and organized. Nice old fashioned decor in main lobby and guest room hallways. Even had a real grandfather clock in lobby that chimes on the hour. Bar is only open Thursday through Sunday. But that's ok as I don't even drink alcohol:) Lobby entry is locked during night hours. If you arrive late for check-in and nobody is a front desk to open door, call hotel and they will come immediately to let you in.

Great hotel, easy check in, clean, and our doggie loved it too. All I can say is I don’t like the outside entry and prefer a hallway, but that’s not a must.

The room was easily accessible and smelled nice. I found the location to the amazing breakfast restaurant quite useful.

Our room was a suite in the Tuscany tower (room 918) which was fairly close to the reception desk (just up a nearby escalator and down a corridor that passes by the swimming pool, Biscotti's restaurant, and the convention hall before you reach the elevators). Our suite had a comfortable King bed with 4 very thick pillows, a mini-fridge, and a large living area with a small table and two chairs. We asked the front desk for some thinner pillows which were delivered to our room. The bathroom had dual sinks, a long vanity, and a whirlpool tub. The dual shower heads in a walk in shower for two was a very nice touch. Our only complaint was that the door was not very sound proof, and we could easily hear conversations from our neighboring suite and hallway during all hour of the day or night.

The facility was just right for what we needed. It was clean and spacious. The surrounding area was blighted due to the closure of Harahs and other business establishments. There were some undesirables hanging around the hotel but tolerable. Good Vietnamese and Thai restaurant nearby. Inside the hotel, I felt safe. The front desk folks were very courteous but did not have a lot of knowledge as to where to go or where to eat. Overall, I would rate my stay a 7 or 8 out of 10.

We found the hotel to be very nicely appointed with comfortable beds and a spacious room featuring a lounge chair and long desktop surface. The staff was courteous and responded to our request for a microwave in the room. It is apparently one of a few hotels that doesn't have a ****** and we appreciated that. Our conference group utilized the very large rooms for talks and dinner. The only thing I found odd was that you couldn't access the stairs to go to your rooms (stairs are for emergency only) so the elevators were very crowded when our large group ended events.

Booo… this one is at the bottom of my list Well, if you have an opportunity to stay at a different hotel, closer in town little more expensive if you can afford it, try not to stay too long at this one it’s an old hotel. It’s a old stinky ****** needs to be leveled and rebuilt wrong part of town, a lot of transient people on the street. I did not like it but it was cheap. It was clean and old and stunk phone. Desk was friendly maintenance was nonexistent. I change the filter in my AC unit because it was nasty. I stayed there for two night. The only thing that was comfortable was leaving my truck outside because they had security in a fenced in area. Security walk to grounds all the time not nice not good I don’t like.

Just beside the small river, cross the bridge and walk more than 200 meters along the river to the car museum to see the various cars carefully collected by the casino owner. A dedicated parking garage is available for free parking. The stopover from Yellowstone Park to Yosemite is not bad. Reno is the second largest city in Nevada and has many casinos.
