My real experience: I was unable to sleep by a strong sewer smell at 4:30 in the middle of the night. I smelled a sewer smell before going to bed. I didn’t find the smell. I couldn’t help it. I had to sleep. It was too unpleasant in the middle of the night. This is the case in room 403 I live in. I don't know what other rooms are like. I have lived in a hotel for the first time. One of them is a hotel. There is no one to do this. At that time, I wanted to wait for the child to wake up and leave quickly. I took a photo of the big pillar of the room in the middle of the night.

The front desk was very efficient and even thoughtfully informed us about breakfast times. The room had excellent natural light, was spotlessly clean throughout, and had no strange odors. The mattress and pillows were just right, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. There's 24-hour hot water, and both the air conditioning's heating and cooling worked powerfully. Downstairs, there are plenty of dining options and a supermarket, making getting around incredibly convenient. Winnie from Guest Relations provided excellent service, thoughtfully arranging our room and promptly responding to any issues during our stay. For the same price point, the quality here far surpasses other places. It's perfect for both leisure and business travelers. Hongkou 1920, a new trendy spot, is nearby, and Yantai Mountain is only a 15-minute walk away, with Chaoyang Street also being very close. As for the hotel, the service is excellent, and the breakfast is good. The buffet dinner offers incredible value compared to five-star hotels in Beijing, at just 159 yuan per person, with unlimited salmon, baked durian, and crayfish. On the 26th floor, you can watch the World Cup at night. My husband stayed up late to watch a match, and even Morocco's CEO was watching and bought my husband a drink, haha! Yantai really is an interesting and lovely place. Oh, and a special thanks to front desk manager Tongtong – she's beautiful and kind-hearted! When we checked in, a young man, upon hearing we wanted an extra bed, upgraded us to a family room without hesitation! Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name! Grateful again!

The Golden Gulf Hotel Yantai looks old from the outside but the interior is nicely furnished with modern technology. They use robots to send guest needs, they had heated toilet seats for the winter used. Among the 4 hotels I stayed at on this trip they are the only ones that provide heated toilet seats. That is their facility that impressed me. If they are not considered a local 5 Star hotel, they definitely have a 6 Star service. Service from the front office staff, to the operator from the call center and the host at the restaurant were excellent. They definitely left a very good impression on me as a guest of the hotel. I stayed here on both my departure and arrival flights to Yantai. The hotel is just amazing and you can get a room on the highest floor with a great view to the city. It’s also very close to so many attractions here such as the golden beach and Tian square. I just went for a stroll and walked everywhere on foot. The gym has also a gym and nice coffee shop and bar. U can also have a nice breakfast in the morning. All in all, my experience here was great and I definitely recommend it for any future guests. Oh and there’s also a flower shop u can visit. They also helped me with drying my clothes which I left here for 6 days and picked them up on my way back. They were folded nicely. The service is absolutely fantastic.

First of all, the location and price of the hotel was unbeatable. It even included breakfasts. The only downside about our stay was that there was a strange smell in the room when the windows were closed for a long period of time. It smelled kind of like dirty laundry, so we kept the window open the rest of our stay there. The staff was kind and helpful. They gave us a third blanket since we had three people sleeping in the room. The hotel provided free laundry machines and detergent. The machines were large and quick to wash and dry things. The shampoo provided was good quality.
