A perfect retreat for unwinding! The ultimate wellness experience truly comes from allowing nature to heal you. This hotel exudes the sophisticated ambiance of a top-tier luxury brand. I was particularly impressed with the front office manager's approach and skill in resolving issues. All staff members were knowledgeable and remarkably courteous. I stayed for two nights and genuinely wished to extend, but unfortunately, due to booking quite late, there were no rooms available – a bit disappointing. 🏡 **Authentic, Back-to-Nature Craftsmanship in Design** Rammed earth walls, raw timber beams, rattan lamps... every detail here embodies 'sustainable luxury.' Imagine soaking in the hot spring under a starry sky, listening to the gentle rustle of wind through the ancient ginkgo tree canopy. Each room is a Zen-inspired sanctuary, fostering a deep connection with nature. While the indoor space and layout are quite similar across room types, the additional private gardens, plunge pools, and expansive common areas truly set them apart. This makes the Six Senses Suite exceptionally good value for money, with the in-room comfort levels absolutely maximized. **Environment:** The hotel grounds are breathtaking, offering beautiful scenery at every turn. Beyond hiking Mount Qingcheng, simply strolling around the hotel premises is a wonderfully relaxing activity. Guests can also book facilities for Tai Chi, tennis, basketball, table tennis, and football.

Our Six Senses experience was incredibly comfortable and created precious, unforgettable memories! I was quite apprehensive before arriving, having seen some negative reviews that made me hesitate. However, I'm so glad I stuck with it! Six Senses truly lives up to its name – like a Ferrari, quality is timeless. Every single detail of the service and experience was absolutely superb. The swimming pools, including the splash pool, were wonderfully relaxing. The 90-minute bamboo spa was incredibly soothing, melting away all our fatigue. Breakfast was abundant and delicious; I particularly loved Six Senses' butter. The homemade cucumber, apple, and orange infused water was incredibly refreshing. Even in such a short stay, we managed to play Gobang (Five-in-a-Row), billiards, visit the chicken coop to collect fresh eggs, and take evening strolls – how wonderful is that? Oh, and my butler, Yannie, was absolutely exceptional! She was incredibly responsive to all our needs and managed every detail with such thoughtful care. I was completely satisfied with her service throughout our stay! Our vacation time is precious, and spending 3 days here was absolutely worth every moment. There was so much to enjoy at the hotel, and I will definitely be back! I'll forever cherish the memory of the evening breeze at the foot of Mount Qingcheng.

A hidden gem of tranquility amidst the bustling city, a rare quiet haven in the midst of noise. Everything from the location and service to the facilities and amenities is commendable. Whether you're here for business or leisure, arriving at this place will make you forget the hardships and fatigue of your journey, allowing you to completely relax in its peaceful and elegant atmosphere.

The Temple House has a great ambiance. The room light switches take a little getting used to, but the breakfast is delicious, and the room is spotless. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a quiet oasis in a bustling area, and it's very convenient for getting around.

Having stayed in many B&Bs, I can honestly say this one is the best city B&B I've ever stayed in. The neighborhood is a bit lacking, but the interior is stunning. The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is high-quality, and the quilt is comfortable. I slept incredibly well over the past few days. The decor is also very tasteful and homey, making it feel like home upon entering. Features: 1. They have everything you need for home and kitchenware, including pots and pans, a washing machine, and a refrigerator. They even have a dishwasher, a steam oven, and a coffee maker, making it perfectly suited for a family move-in. 2. The room also comes with a tea tray, cups, tea leaves, a tea maker, and other tea-making utensils. Relaxing on the terrace, enjoying a cup of tea, enjoying the view, chatting, or playing cards is truly relaxing. 3. The biggest highlight is the service. They're incredibly responsive, sending check-in instructions and travel tips before departure, and responding quickly after check-in. They truly put their heart into their work. Besides the price, there's nothing wrong with this place.

I visited the Kuanzhai Alley before booking, and was completely blown away by the interior! It's incredibly sophisticated, refined, and understated! It's not extravagant, but it feels classy! It's truly unmatched by your average 5-star hotel. It's truly a rare luxury hotel! A friend happened to be visiting Chengdu, so I immediately booked a room at this must-see destination. The experience was even better. We had so many friends visiting, several groups every day! We were all so relaxed with over 20 people, it wasn't crowded or noisy, and the guests were so relaxed, like they were in their own home. It's unparalleled in a typical hotel! The facilities are incredibly high-end and thoughtful, and we had everything we needed! Plus, the balcony view is incredible. I've been in Chengdu for so many years, and I've never seen Kuanzhai Alley from this angle. The night view is stunning, and truly Chengdu!

I booked this hotel for an early morning flight out of Tianfu Airport. Overall, it was excellent. The front desk staff proactively upgraded my room. Breakfast was good, definitely surpassing the usual DoubleTree by Hilton standard. The view is wonderful, right by Xinglong Lake; waking up early and pulling back the curtains, the scenery was truly beautiful. My only slight disappointment was that when I called to request disposable bath towel covers, I was informed they had run out due to a recent high volume of guests, and their new stock hadn't arrived yet. This felt a bit below par. Despite this, I still recommend the hotel.
- Guest User
This hotel at Xinglong Lake is perfect for families with kids! The design is impressive, and you can tell a lot of thought went into every detail, from the garden's landscaping to the underground parking facilities. Everything else was perfect, but unfortunately, the air conditioning couldn't cool the room sufficiently, which impacted our sleep quality. This is definitely an issue that needs to be addressed.

Environment: Very nice yard ~ the environment is impeccable. The sound insulation is not very good. Next to the room is the restaurant. Facilities: The room facilities are old, and the hair dryer is an unfamiliar brand for a room price of nearly 3,000 yuan. A high-end B&B has to at least be a Dyson. Toiletries Parma, thumbs up. Hygiene: The room was dimly lit and looked clean. There was a lot of hair in the bathroom. There is also a gap. The rag next to it is a bit confusing. Service: The hotel staff are very enthusiastic, and there is also Xixi in the yard 's company. I wanted to check out later, but the service staff came to urge me to leave the room at 12:30. I have stayed in so many hotels, but this is the first time I have been urged to leave.

The environment and service are first-class. What's rare is that you can also make a pot of tea in the yard and steal half a day of leisure! It is most suitable for business and high-end travel. It is said that the yard is the most beautiful in late November and early December. Go there to check in then.

The hotel's environment is fantastic; its Chinese-style architecture offers picturesque views at every turn. Our room was very spacious, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the private hot spring was spotlessly clean. For my child's birthday, the butler thoughtfully surprised us with a cake, demonstrating truly attentive service. The complimentary photoshoot provided by the hotel was highly professional. The styling and makeup were beautifully done, and combined with the hotel's gorgeous setting, we were extremely happy with the resulting photos. The photographer was also excellent at guiding the children on how to pose.

Songpin, of course, needs no introduction! The atmosphere and service are both outstanding, and all the staff are wonderfully warm and attentive. It's perfect for a family summer holiday to escape the heat. The water park right across the street is great for taking your little one to play. We also used their in-hotel photography service, and the photographer's shooting and framing skills were excellent. Definitely recommended!

RETURN Courtyard Hotel: 'Forest Courtyard' – a tranquil oasis in a bustling city… I love it! 😍 It's a renovated old *siheyuan* (courtyard house), and you can see the meticulous care in its courtyard design and interior decor. The daily misty atmosphere in the courtyard creates an ethereal, beautiful ambiance. The balcony, tea table, and greenery in the room make it incredibly cozy and relaxing. There's also a creative spot in the central courtyard for guests to take photos 'climbing onto the roof' – absolutely brilliant! The guesthouse's location is also superb, within walking distance to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li. The service is outstanding; it truly lives up to the feeling of 'home away from home.' The breakfast and afternoon tea provided are also very exquisite and visually appealing.
- 1382920****
The hotel staff were warm, friendly, and kind. All communications, food deliveries, and parcel drop-offs were handled by staff directly at the room, so guests didn't need to make a special trip to the front desk. Since my schedule was tight and I had to leave very early (too early for breakfast), the hotel even specially arranged breakfast for me, which was truly heartwarming. The professional butler also kept in touch with me via WeChat, and all my questions and requests were properly handled. The room was spacious and didn't feel cramped. The indoor temperature was comfortable, and opening the balcony to brew tea and get some fresh air was also very pleasant. The cleanliness and aromatherapy in the room were just like a 5-star hotel.

Stepping into the hotel, I was immediately drawn in by the elegant Chinese ambiance. The room decor was very stylish, clean, and comfortable. The staff were extremely polite, actively greeting us and helping with our luggage. The location is superb, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in a bustling area. A big thank you to Dora at the front desk for meeting us at the intersection and helping with our bags, Amy for meticulously explaining everything about our room, and Rora for our quick check-in. The hotel even gifted us mooncakes, which was a very thoughtful touch. I'll definitely be back if I get the chance!

This hotel, located in or around the Kuanzhai Alley scenic area, is a renovated ancient dwelling that seamlessly blends traditional Chinese courtyard aesthetics with modern design. The interior decor is exquisite, and the rooms are spacious and bright. It offers excellent accessibility, with many attractions, a subway station, and local food streets within walking distance. Despite its central location in a bustling area, it provides a quiet and peaceful retreat, making it an ideal choice for an immersive travel experience. The staff are warm, friendly, and responsive, and the rooms are clean and tidy.

Facilities: The hotel is a bit old-fashioned, with decor leaning towards a 2010s style. The walls aren't well-maintained, showing noticeable water stains and discoloration. Cleanliness: Acceptable. I didn't find any major hygiene issues. Environment: The air circulation in the room was poor. Windows could be opened, but only slightly, though it wasn't stifling. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center and close to attractions like Wenshu Monastery, Qingyang Palace, and Chunxi Road. Service: I appreciate that they upgraded my room when I checked in. There were welcome fruits and snacks, but the drinks in the minibar and tea bags were all chargeable. The Chinese restaurant offers Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine, which was average in taste but not expensive. Overall, there wasn't much in terms of service, but considering the low price, it's not fair to compare it to the service standards of high-end five-star chains. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

I stayed at this hotel around the same time last year. The location is excellent, no doubt about that. I remember my first stay wasn't great because during peak hours, the elevators were completely inadequate; I often had to wait several minutes for one. This year, I stayed again, and the elevator issue has been resolved – the front desk told me they installed new ones. And as always, the service was wonderfully warm. As soon as I got out of the car, staff greeted me and helped with my luggage to the front desk for check-in. The front desk's smiling service also deserves high praise, and even when I ran into staff in the elevator, they would immediately smile and greet me. Overall, while the hotel facilities are dated, their exceptional service really makes up for that shortcoming, making it still a very good experience.

Pros: Wifi was really good here with super fast connection as compared to some other hotels I have been in China. Breakfast is decent. Pool looks nice. Location is good and easy to get a taxi. Overall pretty clean. Nice to have washing machine in the room. Robot for food deliveries. Cons: We did not seem to be able to adjust the aircon temperature to our desired level and had to resort to opening the curtains and windows fully at times. Sometimes, the food delivery driver is not able to use the robot so we had to collect it downstairs ourselves. Overall: Would recommend!

Our stay at JW Marriott was fantastic! The hygiene was impeccable; both our room and the Garden were spotless, surrounded by lush greenery, and we even spotted adorable kittens, which was incredibly therapeutic. The facilities were incredibly thoughtful, with a cute panda plushie in the room, turndown chocolates, and a complimentary mini-fridge – perfect attention to detail. Breakfast coffee had exquisite latte art, the noodles were incredibly authentic, and the specialty lounge offered a fantastic selection. Special shout-outs to Guest Relations Officer Michelle and Front Desk's Nancy! Michelle provided attentive and timely assistance throughout our stay, responding to our needs promptly and thoughtfully. An Unforgettable Stay ! True 5-Star Experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu Our last two nights in Chengdu were truly the highlight of our trip !An experience that perfectly lived up to its Forbes 5-star reputation. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The doorman greeted us warmly, remembered my surname, and personally delivered our luggage to our room. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service from Meria, the guest relations manager. She was like our personal concierge , helping to deliver my parcels from the concierge to our room, assisting us with getting prescription medicine late at mid of night, and even sending thoughtful gifts like fresh fruit and panda bookmarks. Every detail reflected genuine care and professionalism. Staying here with my parents was an absolute joy , the comfort, warmth, and attentiveness made us feel completely at home. I can confidently say that The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu is the pinnacle of all the hotels I’ve stayed in. For my trip to Chengdu from late October to early November, I chose Anyi Xinliang Hotel for the third time. It has truly become my 'second home' in this city. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic – close to the subway, making transportation super convenient. It makes getting around effortless and efficient. What truly impresses me, though, is the homelike comfort it offers. The cleanliness is reassuring, and it's both safe and quiet, completely addressing all my worries about accommodation while traveling. Facilities: Well, it's an old hotel, so the facilities definitely can't compare to those opened in recent years. However, you can tell that in its prime, it was considered a luxury hotel. Everything is well-equipped, and they even have hotel robots, which is very convenient. Hygiene: As a hotel, cleanliness is fundamental. My personal habit is to check the hygiene situation everywhere upon entering. I must say, big hotels are reliable; everything was very clean. The only thing was a small hole I noticed in the bedsheet, probably from being washed too many times or worn out. I hope the hotel can pay a little more attention to checking these things. Environment: The hotel's surroundings are not a bustling area. Although it's next to a road, it's relatively quiet. The only inconvenience is that there are no shops nearby the hotel, or maybe I just didn't see them. Service: The front desk lady was warm and attentive. She reminded me of the breakfast location and other important information. After checking out, the hotel even called to follow up on my stay and any issues. The window in my room was slightly warped and wouldn't close completely. I had originally planned to mention it in a review, but after telling them during the follow-up call, the hotel said they would immediately contact the engineering department to inspect and resolve the issue. This professional work ethic and responsible attitude alone deserve a five-star rating. Overall: The hotel has been open for a long time, so the overall experience might not be as good as a new hotel. However, for less than 300 (RMB) with breakfast included, I am very satisfied. A very good stay experience!

Enjoyed our second time staying here at Fraser’s. Great location, service, and amenities with the convenience of having shops, food and attractions available nearby. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna so having a washing machine & dryer in the room made it possible for us to go for multiple swims during the day. We’ll definitely be back again.

I'm usually quite lazy and rarely leave reviews for hotels, but this place genuinely impressed me. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. When we mentioned we were tourists, they immediately offered a brochure detailing various sightseeing routes, which we found very helpful (we even snapped a photo!). As it was our first time in Chengdu, we were unsure where to eat, and they enthusiastically recommended some fantastic local eateries; the food they suggested was indeed delicious. With all the nearby *chuanchuan* (Sichuan skewers), Sichuan cuisine, and hotpot, we came back to the hotel one evening smelling distinctly of hotpot. Wanting to get some early rest, we asked the front desk if they could help dry our clothes and return them to our room the next morning. They agreed without a moment's hesitation, which was incredibly thoughtful and considerate. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was also delicious, especially the *chaoshou* (Sichuan wontons). The staff in the restaurant were very attentive and provided great service too. Our initial reason for booking this hotel was its geographical location, and it truly lived up to our expectations. It's perfectly situated, very close to all the major attractions such as Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Kuanzhai Alley, Wenshu Monastery, Wuhou Shrine, Jinli Ancient Street, and more. Overall, it was an extremely satisfying travel experience. Chengdu, with its vibrant city atmosphere and rich cultural environment, left a wonderful impression on us. We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Chengdu.

The service and environment are excellent, but there are mosquitoes in the hotel room, and there are a lot of them. I was bitten seven or eight times in one night. I had to drive on the highway the next day, so I couldn't sleep all night. The air conditioner in the room was also very noisy, and there was no ventilation equipment in the toilet.
