This hotel was perfectly located for exploring Lucca and Florence from the railway station at Montecatini Centro. Also, a few minutes walk from the funicular up to Alto, which has beautiful views. The breakfasts were average, but I had to thank the chef on his seafood risotto that I had one evening as it was best I have ever had! Rooms are clean with a terrific housekeeping team who were always friendly, chatting outside our room every morning. A lovely touch was having our bathrobes and slippers delivered to our room ahead of our spa trea**ents. The spa was good, with the usual facilities you’d expect. I had the scrub and massage, which was amazing. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay if I return to Montecatini Terme.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel to be a bit disappointing. The property itself has potential but is a bit run down. The food in the restaurant was not good at all (we tried breakfast which was fine, dinner was a huge and expensive disappoin**ent). The spa is okay but nothing fabulous. Not pictured in the idyllic looking Instagram photos from the resort is the fact that you are required to wear blue swimming caps (provided). For those of us in North America this is not a standard practice at a spa, and I found the photos of couples enjoying the spa sans blue caps was quite misleading. The heat in our room didn’t seem to work so we were quite cold. We did find the bed and sheets to be comfortable. This property has potential but needs some work to truly be a 4 star spa hotel experience.

I was absolutely delighted with my experience at this hotel. The hotel staff are very welcoming, lovely and friendly. The reception desk take care of your every need, to make you feel at home & help you plan your trip, to make the most of what this region has to offer. The food in the restaurant, for both breakfast and dinner was plentiful, of such a high quality and delicious. The restaurant staff are very attentive and made us smile on many occasions. Our hotel room along with the hotel overall, was traditional Italian charm & elegance, very clean. This hotel is in a great location, a short walk (10 minutes) from Montecatini Central station. Where we took the train to Pisa, Lucca, Florence & Cinque Terre, the train is regular & very good value. €6.5 for a single ticket to most places like Pisa & Florence taking approximately one hour to reach your destination. We took a ride on the funicular in Montecatini, the views up there have the wow factor & are incredible to take in the beautiful Tuscany scenery. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel, we loved it and want to say a big thank you for giving us a lovely holiday.

The property is in a great location for exploring the town and the park and funicular. The hotel is spotlessly clean both inside and out. The roof top pool area is great for relaxing with a cooling breeze and fantastic views of Montecatini Terme Alto. What really made this our best ever Italian stay though is the hotel staff were exceptional throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we were always met with a friendly smile, impeccable service, we honestly cannot remember better customer service from a hotel stay. A special mention for Nadisha whom we primarily worked the rooftop pool bar, this young lady is an absolute credit to the hotel, she is non stop, fluent in so many languages, never stops working and never stops smiling with every guest she meets and takes such wonderful care off.
