Perfect for our needs. Chose to stay as we were going to see Man City play at the Etihad for my husband’s 40th birthday with our two children. From start to finish the service was fantastic. I got a call a few days before to ask if there was anything I need before our stay, when we arrived they’d left a little card and gift for my husband, which was such a lovely and much appreciated gesture. Room was spacious & clean, they put an extra z-bed in for my son too & my older daughter had her own side with a door so she was delighted with that! Check-in was really smooth and welcoming. Sorry didn’t take a name but a male staff member helped with directions to the Etihad and it was spot on. Swim and dinner in the bar after, which was just what we needed after a long day. Breakfast was delicious, fresh & hassle free. Lovely relaxing morning in the pool then Starbucks to send us on our way, spoke to Beth too on the way out and she was lovely, credit to your hotel. Really couldn’t fault anything. Thank you for having us

This is the biggest hotel in the area. It’s about 20 minute drive to Manchester and handy for the surrounding hills. There is a large freshwater pool which is lovely. The hotel serves a good breakfast and there is a pub serving evening meals. The staff are really friendly and the rooms are serviced daily by a conscientious crew. Prices go up on Friday and Saturday nights but the complicated booking system is often a the best way to bring the price down. The big attraction is the pool and gym which are used extensively by the residents and local community. I would recommend a stay here, it’s certainly cheaper than Manchester.
