Very good location for this hostel. I recommend if you’re visiting Catania and only need a place to sleep! The staffs are friendly and for the price it is worth it. Everything is walkable by distance, even to the airport is possible! Took me 55 minutes (I did it 5am in the morning, I don’t recommend doing it any other time of the day) as it might get busier..the pavements are okay but not the best for pedestrians

Departing from Catania Airport, this airport hotel is just a 4-minute drive away. The room was quite spacious, but the facilities were very outdated. Since we arrived on a late flight and were taking a bus from near the airport to Palermo the next day, it was the perfect choice. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport, and the shuttle bus clearly has the hotel's logo on it. (There was some miscommunication between the hotel and Trip.com regarding the late-night airport pickup, which led to ineffective communication. We eventually figured it out by using common sense and spotting the vehicle's logo at the airport drop-off point for departures, though it caused quite a delay before we successfully got on board.) On a positive note, the hotel also provides free luggage storage, which was a nice touch!

The breakfast room is lunch is rather small and the restaurant service, but I understand it is due to the small space, it does not offer the opportunity to make a little more important dinner. The hotel is great, the most central part of Catania, in the middle of the church and Elephant Square, but very quiet and private. The whole hotel has a good smell of aroma, simple but not simple, the bed is very comfortable, sleepless every day. The staff is very good, the English is OK, there are a lot of delicious people around, they will also give you advice. There are homemade toiletries, carefully crafted with Sicilian fruit, great. There is a private spa room on the first floor, you have to book in advance, the technique is very good ~ cost-effective. The room is very spacious, Italy has lived the largest room, hahaha

The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. However, be aware that the building has no elevator, and the metal gate is especially noisy at night and in the early morning. The room I was assigned was right next to a metal gate... The windows and terrace only offered views of the inner courtyard, with no other scenery to speak of. Staying for just one night is fine. The location is indeed very convenient, right on the main street and near attractions, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

The room isn’t huge but it makes do. But I cannot understand why there’s never a plug beside the bed. People need to charge their phones. The bathroom is ok but there is nothing to place the toiletries in the shower, so you’re forced to either bend over in a very small space either open the shower multiple times and make a mess. The main issue is the breakfast. It’s the land of desolation and it’s really a pity. The croissants and the brioches are good, but regardless of the time of your arrival it’s never refurnished. No marmalades, 3 butters, 2 Nutellas, only one typeof cereal, no milk. Everything is missing, it seems raided. Why pay for an hotel breakfast if there’s less food that at home or any café? It could happen once, not constantly.

It is recommended not to come to this city, the streets are dirty and the hotel rooms are the only clean places in the city. The room was very big and it was the only 4-star hotel I stayed in Italy that provided disposable slippers, and they were of very good quality. I stayed in 16 4-star hotels in Italy in one month. The heating was just not enough, it was only 11 degrees at night in early April. Not much choice for breakfast but the coffee was good. Eating out is pretty cheap anyway. I will never come back to this city but this hotel is a haven
