During our South America tour in November 2019, we stayed at Hotel Lady Florence Dixie for 3 nights. Small hotel in the middle of town, walking distance to the different attractions in Puerto Natales. Our room was in the second floor, quite roomy and clean. Breakfast was the usual spread in Chile/Argentina with bread, cake, yogurt and fruit. They did offer eggs cooked to your liking. Upon check-out, we were supposed to be picked up by the tour company for transfer to the bus station to cross the border to El Calafate, Argentina. However, nobody showed up, 10 minutes after the stated pickup time. The guy at the front desk called the tour company and they said they would investigate and call back, yet there was no call. Since the bus was leaving in 15 minutes, he suggested that we take a taxi. We did not have any CLP left but he said he would pay for the taxi and he did. We got in the bus with no time to spare. We were so grateful that the front desk person (sorry, we didn’t get his name) was so helpful, quick to make all the arrangements and even paid for our taxi. We were spared from all the hassle of missing the bus and having to reschedule the transfer in Argentina. THANK YOU Hotel Lady Florence Dixie!!!

This is a great little hotel on one of the main streets - close to many amenities but not wild at night. It is very clean and quiet, and the staff went above and beyond to assist us in our stay. We used the laundry serviced (which they outsource), and when our plans for the next day changed, they arranged to have our laundry done that night at no extra charge! It is an older building, so don’t expect modern decor in the lobby, restaurant, or room. But if you want a clean, well-priced place to relax, with friendly staff and close to many shops and restaurants, this would be a great choice.
