My wife and I have been coming to Basecamp for years. We like the trails and the feeling of being away from the down town traffic. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. They have a nice little Restaurant/Bar that is all that needed when you’re trying to get away from the world. If you like adventure, no matter comfort, this is your place. The basecamp at Snowbowl is a little far from Flagstaff and little close to the Snowbowl park. The hotel is next to the road, surrounded by the forest. In my opinion, not so good if you are looking for traditional hotel amenities.

Small rooms, tiny bathroom, loud furnace, uncomfortable bed, noisy neighbors. Worst shower pressure in my life. No microwave or refrigerator in the room. The proximity to snowbowl is not worth it. Drive 10 minutes into town and stay cheaper and more comfortable.

This was a quiet and relaxing overnight stay on our recent vacation. Convenient Location between Sedona and the Grand Canyon. The restaurant and service there was great!. Cabin was clean and staff was friendly. Only negative was the shower was a bit weak.
