Brilliant hotel for B&B, full range of breakfast options to have, really lovely food, my son loved the bakery bits every morning. The staff work so hard from the cleaning to the reception and the catering team. They are so friendly and will help you with any enquiries you have. The room was great, everything you need, no problems occurred. We really enjoyed our family holiday here and cala santandria is a beautiful location.

My friend & I had an amazing stay in a 2 bed apartment which we found comfortable & more than adequate. We were allocated room no1 which looked directly unto beach from a lovely terrace. Breakfast buffet was so good! Plenty of variety & a spotlessly clean dining room. Pool bar provided great snacks & was so convenient. Staff were all welcoming & friendly. Santandria is a small resort with the most beautiful cove beach. Would definitely return to Cales de Ponent.

Let down with the room I'm afraid, outside of the room this would have been a 4 star rating. I'll start with the negatives - Room very dated and in need of some repairs and decoration. Bathroom (if you could call it that) is tiny , I've seen larger toilets on a train, small shower smack bang next to the loo , the sink I think should be awarded the smallest sink award 2025. The shower glass was cracked, probably caused when someone was trying to clean their teeth. Very low standard. Hair in shower - not from me I haven't got any! You could just about get around the bed in the main room with a risk that you would crack your shins every time you tried to walk around. Next to no storage , you will have to live out of your case. The room was not clean , found hair and debris on the floor and bedding when we arrived. On the last day when I was checking I hadn't left anything I found a pair of pants behind the bed , lovely I'd been sleeping with someones dirty pants behind my head, nice touch , obviously an extra they give you in the room in case you've forgotten to bring your own. This was reported to reception and to be honest I got the feeling If i'd taken a dead rat down to them they would have had the same reaction, none, zilch , zero. Found housekeeping very poor , towels are changed every two days, that's if they can actually be bothered , we found the clean ones left at the top of the stairs and the used ones left on the floor in the room on one occasion. Floors didn't ever seem to be swept at all. Sheets were changed once in our 7 day stay. Aircon intially seemed ok , just , but after a few days when the temperature was in the 30's it just couldn't cope. They kindly supply a fan in the room which made it like sitting in an air fryer. Nice. Bottom of fridge door seal filthy , decor needs attention, generally poor room standards. Outside of the room the pool area was clean we personally had no issues with finding sunbeds (June) however there were too many beds crammed together I wouldn't like to know what it'd be like in the high season. You'd probably be sharing sun lotion with your neighbour! Bar was clean and tidy, bar staff were friendly, bar open till 23:00 Breakfast was good , plenty to choose from and good quality overall. Bar snacks (pizza , chicken nuggets, toasties etc ) reasonably priced. Shop 200 yards down the road, beach a few minutes walk away with a few places to eat/drink. Highly recommend the steak house just outside hotel, excellent food on the three occasions we visited. It's a real shame the holiday was let down with the very poor standard of the room, maybe we were unlucky.

We stayed for 7 nights B&B in a well equipped, spotlessly clean, one bed apartment. The king size bed was really comfortable, good air con in both rooms, the towels were changed every second day and the sheets twice in the week. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was outstanding - vast choice and all freshly prepared. Santandria is very small and the choice of restaurants is limited, however, an easy 20 minute walk along the coast takes you to Cala Blanca where there are a few more bars and restaurants. A 10 minute taxi or bus takes you to Ciutadella, a lovely old town where you'll be spoiled for choice of places to eat and drink.

The most perfect place for a relaxing holiday. Short walk to the beach and a handful of restaurants. Also a supermarket literally one minute away. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything for a self catering break. We were bed and breakfast and the breakfast was amazing! So much choice! Staff were all very friendly. Only one tiny drawback was the pool was freezing but that's no one's fault. I would definitely return.
