|0.42km from city centerThis place was great; Joseph went over and beyond to help me plan my adventures, giving me great ideas for Banff and nearby areas. The grab-and-go breakfast is fantastic as you receive plenty of snacks to fuel you throughout the day on your hikes and adventures. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I was able to sleep soundly. I heard the train one time well before 10 pm, but they also provide plenty of earplugs in your restroom, which I did not utilize. The shower was good and got and had great water pressure. The only downside is that the parking lot is small, but I could always find a parking spot, even coming in at about 8 PM one evening. I will stay here again.

|0.46km from city centerIt's pretty easy to find, and it's easy to find after following the navigation. Self check-in and check-out, the service was not felt.
There is a 24-hour convenience store not far from the hotel, so it is convenient, and the pots and pans in the room are quite complete, so breakfast can be done by yourself. The price-performance ratio of three bedrooms and one hall is ok, one bedroom is more expensive

|1.22km from city centerThis hotel is budget friendly. Some points I would like to highlight are: 1. Clean bed but the pillows are not the best ( we had to sleep without the pillows) 2. The bathroom was super clean 3. The patio is shared with few other rooms but the mountain views are fab!! 4. The whole process of check-in and check out is virtual and seamless. 5. There is 1 parking stall for each room. Overall a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it

Sitting on the sofa and watching the scenery is so cool. The room has a small balcony that is perfect for watching the scenery. The room is very clean, very recommended

|7.85km from city centerMy friends and I booked a 3 bedroom through Expedia. When we arrived, it was a tiny 2 bedroom suite, with not enough beds or room for us to sit together. Unfortunately, because it was booked through Expedia, we had to deal directly with Expedia and the owner of the suite which was a huge hassle and spent hours of our time trying to fix the situation. The hotel rents suites by owners, as well as suites owned by the hotel. After not getting far with Expedia nor the suite owner, we talked to the manager Aaron, and he was able to get us into a significantly larger suite. He did what he could to accommodate us, and it cost us less than what Expedia charged for a much smaller unit. The suite was amazing, very comfortable beds and had lots of room for our girls weekend away. The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again, and will be sure to book directly with the hotel.

|1.75km from city centerThe environment is very good, and the hotel is very quiet, because I didn't pay attention to the window when I arrived at night, I got up in the morning and found that there is a very beautiful snow mountain. The location is near the high speed, which is very convenient. We arrived at twelve in the middle of the night, and we did n’t know about them until Check in was only 11 p.m. If there were friends who arrived as late as us, please call in advance.

|0.7km from city centerThe appearance of the apartment is not new, but the interior decoration is very good and the facilities are complete. Electric fireplace adjustable. The waiter was also nice and cleaned up every day. Before leaving, I forgot to leave a tip, a little embarrassed. In short, I live very well. I feel that developed countries are just a penny and a lot of money. The children are very happy.

|1.4km from city centerArrived on the spot/last minute hoping for a room without pre-booking; didn’t disappoint! We were impressed by the service we got from the staff at reception, the Ukrainian lady in particular was very helpful and provided excellent service. Thank you 😊 Room was great (loft apartment and fabulous view) and was well-equipped and comfortable. Good WiFi quality if you need it. As a Brit, not used to the shower power strength which was well-received!

|0.41km from city centerMy husband and I came to The Malcom Hotel to attend his cousin's wedding. The hotel is beautifully made. The hotel staff are always welcoming with a smile. The concierge desk was awesome in their recommendations of what to do on a raining day and what tour we must do while in Canmore. It is also walking distance from the City Center of Canmore. It was a great one week stay!

|0.75km from city centerThis review is based solely on the cost we paid for this stay. The long and short, I wanted to take my wife somewhere nice for her birthday. We are on a limited budge but I figured I could spend a little extra as its her birthday. We came across .... and admittedly lured in by the nice pictures with a private romantic view of the mountains. My wife, who worked 15 years in hospitality asked a couple of times for a room with a nice view of the mountains like the one in the pictures. We were assured we had the best view. When we pulled up we were a bit let down seeing it was right off the main road. Not a deal breaker but we pictured something more secluded. We were not allowed to check in early. Once gain, not a deal breaker but it would have been nice. We walked around town and when it came time for check in, we were very unpleasantly surprised. The rooms, average size with 2 queen bed were clean. The bathroom clean with a nice view and a heated floor. But what we we most upset with was the lack of privacy. When you open the door the 2 beds are right there in front of the window where everyone walks by. My wife and I had hopes of spending the mornings in bed, with the view of the mountains as told. We did have the view but everyone walking buy had a clear view of us in the window. We called Expedia and asked if the had anything else which the didn't and they could not help us much since it was booked third party. To add insult to injury we immediately went back and looked on Expedia to see the pictures we were lured in by. The exact same stay, days and everything was $300 less. We immediately asked Expedia if we could get a price match but they said they only do that with their competitors, not their site. and it is only before you pay. The room was already booked. This was not what we were hoping for in the least. In all fairness, it is a nice clean newly renovated place. It is centrally located near may stores and hikes. The view of the mountain from the balcony is great. The little table and chairs are great to have a little meal and some one. If the rooms were $150 to $175 tops, I would give this place 4.5 starts. But we paid 1500 USD for 5 nights. We could have stayed in Banff for that cost or $100 more and had more privacy which is what we wanted. I wish we would have read Joel B review post from June before we booked this room. For the cost it was a major let down. Especially since we found comparable places to stay close if not in Banff. This was a quickly planned surprise trip. We paid literally for not following up and using due diligence. I do photography on the side. I should have known better. Who ever took the pictures earned their money on this one. None of them are fake, But the angles are just right. If the prices ever go down to what I mentioned, you getting a great deal. Just no privacy.

|0.48km from city centerOn arriving at the Georgetown Inn we were greeted as long lost favourite relatives. After checking in, went for super in their lounge where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner with excellent service. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable as to the history of Canmore and what is going on it town. We experienced a two hour flat surface hike through Policeman's Creek area and were amazed at what they have done and continue to do in that area. All the meals we had at the Inn were delicious, served promptly and what was to be hot was served hot even though they were very busy. My favourites for breakfast were the Traditional Avocado Toast and their French Toasts (Famous Orange and Strawberry Delight). For dinner, the Chicken Masala was full of flavour, a little spicey for me but still delicious. Stuffed Yorkshire Pudding was another treat. We love the ambience throughout the Inn and can hardly wait to return... Our rooms were huge, had a great fire place for warming up the room during a winter visit but we still had to turn it on for a few minutes. Beds were very comfortable. We slept undisturbed...was it that we were exhausted from our long walks or the other guests were as tired as we were and also went to bed early.. Only stayed 2 nights at the Georgetown Inn...big mistake....should have booked for a longer stay...too much to see in 3 days. Wholeheartedly recommend the Georgetown Inn. |0.57km from city centerDrive all the way from Vancouver, all the hotel reservations are good, but this hotel is the best! The suite we booked was so big, spacious, clean and welcoming! The facilities are quite complete, including washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and more. The kitchen is quite large and there is no shortage of kitchen supplies. The pots and knives are all Zhuangliren, big-name goods, easy to use and clean. There are coffee makers, microwave ovens, and traditional Chinese kettles, even dish cloths and detergents. They are so thoughtful and complete! In a foreign country, we made a lot of delicious food for ourselves during the three days we stayed. The front desk service is great, although the language is not spoken, but I feel a great affinity from the smile, and the check-in is quite fast. You can see the snow-capped mountains and beautiful scenery outside the window of the room. There is a park near the hotel, which is very beautiful! Canmore is about 20 kilometers from Banff, but the town is not only beautiful, but also very quiet. The main thing is that the same room will be much cheaper than Banff, and parking is convenient. It is the best choice for self-driving friends. Thank you to all the staff for your excellent service! Cost-effective, highly recommended

|1.71km from city centerThe hotel is in a good environment with restaurants, car stations and convenience stores. The room is large in size, and the two of us feel a bit extravagant and well equipped. That is, the garbage bin is less allocated, and there is only one bathroom, which is a little inconvenient. Overall, it's awesome, like one!

|0.39km from city centerApartment hotel, there is a kitchen to cook, the environment is good, not far from the high speed, there is a supermarket nearby is convenient, there is a safeway not far from the car, a slightly larger supermarket, a few gas stations nearby. The hotel has underground and ground parking. The fly in the ointment is that when you check out, you have already prepaid the room rate, and you have swiped the room rate from the credit card. The communication was confirmed to be delayed for nearly an hour. Everything else is fine.

|0.41km from city centerNice hotel with full facilities. The washing and drying machine is very easy to use. The shower room is very useful. If you go on a cold day, you can also use the sauna. The kitchen is also very nice and comfortable to live in. There is also a fireplace. The door is made of glass. I think it is an electric stove. The carbon inside is a fake decoration. But the carbon is real and it is really burning. There is a gas stove under the carbon. On the wall, the same switch as the interior light. Feeling better.

|1.91km from city centerAfter reading decent reviews I booked three nights in high season for my family. The water slide and pool plus included breakfast were contributing factors for sure. Upon arrival we were kindly greeted and despite being an hour early for check in, got a room right away. The kids were offered a large freezie then too. The standard two Queen room on the main floor was clean and had a laminate floor which was wonderful. No worries about what might have been in the carpet!! Other than some dusty bathroom and bedroom corners, and a deck that needed a sweep(we were ground level so had a cement enclosure- kind of prison like) that had leaves and such needing swept up, the cleanliness was good. Our bathroom fan didn’t work and so the bathroom got very hot and foggy when anyone showered. Kids had fun at the pool but I didn’t feel confident in the cleanliness- three huge hair balls on the deck that were there two days in a row. Eww. Breakfast was always the same - eggs scrambled, meat (bacon or sausage), waffles, and hash browns as well as yogurt, cereal, fruit salad and various toaster items. I was very surprised to see bacon! That doesn’t typically happen where breakfast is included. Breakfast area was well tended to, clean and you never had to wait long for a refill on anything. There was iced tea in the lobby each day and in the afternoon fresh baked, individually wrapped chocolate chip cookies (so good). This was also a pleasant surprise. The room had a lovely little gas fireplace and plenty of space for a family needing space for a playpen or cot. The AC unit worked great which was necessary as every day was 30+! Watch prices- our initial trip dates fell through and the hotel offered a touch cheaper than Expedia, but the week later I rescheduled Expedia saved us $50. High season was nearly $400/night which was ghastly but last minute vacation plans in high season and not being anywhere for three years due to covid… we went for it!

|0.52km from city centerLady Macdonald is a unique, comforting, cozy experience in the mountains. Each day we were served an amazing, homemade, absolutely delicious breakfast. The tea selection was impressive and delightful, as I drink tea over coffee. The beds were comfy and the views in the morning impressive. The staff was beyond knowledgable of the area. The front desk manager, Veronica, is familiar with trails, hikes and mountains. She is more than willing to share her expertise and send you off on an amazing adventure. I very much enjoyed the lady Macdonald and will return here for sure, as its my favorite place to stay in the mountains!!

|1.84km from city centerI would like to share this experience with the public. I booked for a split type apartment for my family weeks before we arrived from Toronto to Calgary. When we checked in at the Lodge after paying $1162.17 for 3 nights, I was appalled that we were given the room that was already occupied by somebody. I immediately went back to see person at the counter to resolve the issue. So he gave me another room and was told if I’m ok with this room I could then occupy this for 3 nights. I said I’ll think about it as this room had no kitchenette. But when I checked this new room, I was even more upset that the room was dirty, the bed was not made, the garbage was still in the garbage bins with empty water bottles The room was filthy and stinky. So I returned to Ryu after 11 pm last night and told him to refund me because I refuse to stay in this filthy horrible lodge. Additionally, this place is NOT good for seniors, with so many stairs to climb to the split type apartment. The rooms are Not safe as the key given can open another unit. I am so ashamed with my husband and children plus my mother who is 90 y.o to experience having to go back to the car after reaching the 2nd level of the lodge. All I can say is awful awful and awful experience in this Rundown Rundle Lodge! I would rather give 0 if that was an option.

Disadvantages: Poor sound insulation in the room.
