The hotel is really good. The check-in experience with Eleonora was very simple and she was very professional and helpful. Even though the room was not ready upon arrival, Eleonora had them finish it within 15 minutes of checking in. The rooms were really clean and comfortable. Very satisfied with the visit.

The staff were amazing, helpful and super friendly, especially the gentleman who checked us in on 4th February when we arrived (sorry I didn’t get his name) The hotel was immaculately clean. The housekeeper who serviced our room on 5th February was so lovely & helpful. The only thing I could say that could be improved is the food options/ breakfast. My friend and I, are both vegetarians so for breakfast we couldn’t have any hot option and we were limited for dinner, but the vegan burger we had was good. Despite that, we would definitely return.

The hotel is on an extremely busy dual carriageway which you can hear day and night. The room is outdated and sp****. Know tea/coffee facilities and don't expect a dressing gown or slippers. The staff don't speak much English and if you want a coffee from vending machine they hassle you until you've paid. I've always paid at the end of a hotel stay so being hassled for two euros was confusing. The breakfast is continental which was lacklustre at best. Two choices of cereal and know fruit! Know local amenities or restaurants unless you include a chain steakhouse, not what you really want in Italy. Local transport was a nightmare with buses crammed to capacity and know bus back to hotel after 8 o'clock. Staff were indifferent and not very helpful with little to know knowledge about the area or how to reach Venice the best way. It's only on the last day I've found out you can buy a travel pass consequently spent a lot on transport and having to use taxis at night. Don't stay here pay the extra and stay in or nearer to Venice as this hotel is inadequate outdated and too far away from any atmosphere. Ruined my first experience of Italy

Everything was clean. The double bed was just two single beds put together. The provided towels were good and plentiful. However, the amount of shower gel/shampoo was insufficient for two people. We could only find one open power outlet to put our chargers, which was an inconvenience, but maybe we missed others. Biggest complaint would be the absence of a fan (ceiling or standing) so it was quite hot in the room, the windows did not have protection from bugs so we did not open them. The location is quite good, it‘s close to the bus station, you can get to Venice in 30 minutes. The personnel was friendly and let us stay in the lobby before we could check in. Overall, for the price we cannot really complain, a fan would have made the experience a lot better though.

Can only say that in general, we drove, so there is no feeling in the location, there is no parking lot, we are parked in a limited time parking space, limited time 30 minutes, we put a night, but the Italian traffic police basically have no So I didn't receive the ticket, but I recommend it to be careful. The loss is very big. Hotel facilities are very general, the door is exposed, basically equivalent to domestic home, 7 days, the house is not big, but the breakfast is very good, drive to Venice airport for ten minutes, if it is for the next day to catch the plane It’s okay to stay temporarily, after all, the price is already very cheap, and bring breakfast~

We had a week vacation in this hotel. It was clean and nice hotel. Rooms starts to need a bit update but they were clean and nice with air condition. Rooms was made daily and sheets and towels changed as should. Staff was kind and polite. There is a very nice pool in the garden that has nice a bit colder water that freshed nicely. There are a staff also at the pool giving towels and looking after of the guests. Still I need to remaind parents that you need to watch you kids, not other people. Water was checked every day and pool was cleaned daily also. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t say much about that. This is about 3km from Mestre train station and 1.7km from Mestre centre. Busses go near by opposite to Lild so you can take a buss easily. You can check the routes from google, AVM venice app or from the bus stop. We are in Italy so they come few minutes late normally. Hotel is a good place to stay and safe. If we come back to Venice we will probably stay here again.

Well, I found this hotel for a colleague who was on the road. It seemed a nice hotel near Venice with good traffic connections. Booked it yesterday afternoon 14.02.2022. for a colleague who was due to arrive in the early evening. I booked it through the hotel website yesterday afternoon for a colleague who was due to arrive in the early evening and for that I guaranteed with a credit card because I chose the in-house payment option. I received confirmation immediately and forwarded it to a colleague who was 2 hours away from the hotel at the time. I thought everything would be fine, however when a colleague came to the hotel to check in they asked him for confirmation that he had been vaccinated with the third booster dose against covid. A colleague had a certificate for only 2 doses he received and he has yet to receive the third dose because a four months ago, despite being fully vaccinated, he was infected with covid. In any case, he was not admitted to the hotel because he did not receive the third booster dose, so he was forced to seek accommodation in nearby hotels. As a good service provider and tour operator, we know very well how much respect for covid measures is necessary, and at the same time we introduce all of them to all our partners, passengers and tour leaders. At this hotel, when booking through their site (we checked also through other booking sites), there was no warning that each guest must have received all three doses, otherwise we would have booked another hotel for a colleague where it is enough to be vaccinated with two doses. In any case, every guest deserves the right to complete and accurate information and that no one gets more into the situation of not being accepted to the hotel after a confirmed reservation which was safe because it is guaranteed by credit card and that after 10-12 hours of active driving instead of going to rest must try to find another hotel.

Overall a great stay for me and my family! Great check in process! It was smooth and fast! We got a Family Room and it is furnished exactly as shown in the photos. The food was decent. The location is absolutely fantastic. It is only a 1 min walk to Mestre Station where you can board the train into Venice Island. The few minor issues we had were the lack of toothbrush and toothpaste when we first check in, turns out we have to ask for them as they're not given immediately. And also there were no kettle to boil water to make coffee or tea, which is a surprising given that this is a 4-star hotel, however, it is not a major problem for us and it is still a 10/10 recommendation to stay at this hotel.

When we arrived we realised that all the previous reviews were correct. The area is not safe at all and there are men hanging around on the corner of the hotel for hours on end. I know this isn’t the hotels fault, however, there’s no extra security in place and hotel reception staff aren’t 24/7. On the 3rd night, due to there not being aircon, we had to leave the window open (these windows open 2 different ways - like a normal window or a safety way where only the top opens towards the room). At 3.30am we were woken up to an intruder who was trying to break into our room through trying to open the window from the outside by using a metal screwdriver to open it. We had to shout, scream and push the door shut and as two ladies in a room we couldn’t get back to sleep. There was no phone in the room to contact reception, which wouldn’t have mattered anyway as there was no one around. It was horrible & when we tried to tell the lady at reception the next day, she didn’t do anything, just said she’d check the cameras like she didn’t believe us. We were in such a hurry to leave the hotel. We were in a room separate from the main hotel, down the road, which looked like old council flats. The room itself is very basic. Nothing in the mini fridge, our window was broken on the first day and we had to wait 30 minutes for a handy man to come and fix it. We only got one pillow and even though we asked for another one, we never got it. The beds were really hard and our bedding wasn’t changed, just made everyday. The shower was exceptionally small but it was powerful. you can hear every single thing that happens in the rooms next door. We were woken up by people showering in different rooms at 6am. The breakfast is very dissatisfying. There are two sittings - on our first day the breakfast lady refused us entry as our names hadn’t been put on the sheet where you have to say which sitting - an error by the reception staff as we had booked the night before. The breakfast itself had all ran out by the time we were able to sit down. 1 bit of cheese left and no fruit. Very basic so we decided to get breakfast out the next day. As there are no reception staff, we couldn’t check out before 8am, however we had to be at the airport for 8.30 so we went to reception to hand the key back in. The lady was very rude and told us we should’ve checked out last night? How would we have got into our room? she also was rude and told us that we should’ve booked our taxi the night before too (even though the previous staff who were very helpful said come to reception in the morning. We left feeling very unsafe and worried that we hadn’t been able to check out. We were hoping to speak to the manager but the woman just walked away. It’s such a shame as the younger staff were really helpful and friendly at the start. But it’s not safe - I wouldn’t feel safe on my own and I didn’t feel safe with two of us. It is close to the train station, but you don’t feel safe walking there

The hotel is located at the high speed exit, 1.4 kilometers from the train station and takes only 18 minutes. The train will soon take you to Venice. 2. We stayed here prior to our cruise last May. Super nice staff and the owner. The rooms are clean and the free hot breakfast is sufficient. They have omelet or other eggs to order. No elevator but the staff will carry your luggage up and down the stairs. 5 minutes walk to train station and the bus to Venice is just around the corner. Bus tickets available at the hotel. They stored our luggage for free while we did our side trip to Milan for 2 days. I cannot say enough, I highly recommend this hotel.

When we went, the booked hotel was under renovation, so it was directly arranged to the next door. The hotel is also a four-star hotel, which seems to be a d starting hotel. They are all owned by the same company ... but the breakfast is not as good as described ... just Normal continental breakfast ... not much choice for yogurt lovers ... maybe because it's not the same hotel? ? ? The room is very big and warm, there is a large radiator in the toilet, and only central air conditioning in the room ... so the clothes can only be hung in the toilet hhhh

The location of this hotel is particularly good, right next to the railway station.It's only a 20-minute bus ride from the main island to the mainland. And you can choose breakfast every morning. Myself and my daughter travelled from England as a 21st birthday treat for my daughter and stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is in a perfect location, you can get a number 2 bus outside that takes you in to venice. The train station is a 25 minute walk or you can get a number 2 bus there also. The hotel sell bus tickets for 3 euros each. You can get a coach from the train station to to the airport for 10 euros. There are lots of shops and restaurants just a 2 minute walk from the restaurant. The hotel is lovely, very clean and tidy. The air conditioning in the room is wonderful, their is also a fridge and a safe. Our room was cleaned daily. We had breakfast included and I'm really glad we did, the breakfast room is very pretty (looks better than photos) and there was lots of choice, scrambled eggs, toast,cereals,yogurts,fruit, croissants, cakes and more. The staff were so lovely to us. Our European plug didn't work, the kind staff member lent one to us which was an absolute godsend, thank you so much, another staff member suggested getting the bus from the train station to the airport which really helped us, thank you. The owners were also really lovely. We saw the lady every morning at breakfast, she worked very hard making sure our breakfast was perfect and it was. The Husband was equally as lovely helping his wife and also managing the desk and his English was great too. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

It has a comfortable location for the center because it is near the tram stop T1 and bus, in 10/15 minutes you reach Piazzale Roma doge gondole and bus ship to reach the center of Venice. The room was very good, but we know it was not the staff's fault.

The location of the Hotel is a plus, because it is near bus stops and a few minutes walk from the train station going to Venice proper. The breakfast buffet was okay, could add more choices but nonetheless we enjoyed our stay. Kudos to the night shift receptionist (forgot his name) who was very helpful and was able to book us a taxi for our early morning flight. Would definitely recommend 👍

We landed on time and the driver booked came to pick us up. Took us straight to the hotel and was so polite. We then got to the hotel at 6. 20pm before, us were 15 people checking in. Seemed like a party hotel booking. So me and my friend waited in the lobby till we could check in. After 20 minutes I went to the desk and asked to check in. The man was confused at first thinking I wanted to pay for a room. I then explained we have a booking for 4 nights. Gave him my name and we tried to look me up. Could not find a booking so let his colleague (the lady with the black hair and glasses) take over. She started look on bookings.com and the hotel portal. She then stated she could not find us. I showed her the booking on the app and the company we booked with. She then stated ‘in her 20 years of working in hotels she has heard of love holidays however, this hotel does not work with them at all’ She then stated further ‘ even if they could find the booking they could not accommodate us as on the third night the hotel was full booked’ We provided her with everything our passports, email of confirmation and even PDF of our booking and voucher. At this point 2 hour had passed. We both were stressed and she was persistent to say there was no booking. She handed back the booking confirmation and told us nothing they can do. We tried to contact love holidays first on the chat however it did not work due to being out of hours. Went back to the desk and asked if we could stay one night and in the morning sort it out. She said that's fine but you will have to pay €90 (3 times the price of the room when we booked). She did not want to help us at all and more likely wanted us gone from the hotel. With that we sat down for a while to calm down and plan our next move exhausted from the travel at this point was 9.30pm. We called the emergency number and talked to someone from love holidays who said he would sort it out to give him 30 minutes. He then called the hotel and then after 1hr the lady came to talk to us. Found the booking magically! What was annoying was the audacity to say ‘sorry for the delay cause you have been waiting long here are two cans of coke on the house’ This was the most shocked I have ever been travelling. As anyone who is travelling to another country this would be the greatest shock when being in a country you don't speak the language.

I stayed here in October for 5 days. The hotel was perfect and had everything I needed. It was extremely clean and well kept, and affordable! The location is perfect if you don't want to stay right in Venice on the island. A great breakfast every morning and the train and bus are very easy to access to get you to anywhere. The best part -Alex!! She was so kind and helped me with planning everything I wanted to do. I was traveling alone and she went above and beyond to make my stay incredible!! We went out of the city on a prosecco tour that blew me away. It was so nice to see the beautiful countryside. I can't say enough about how great it was for me!! I hope to go back again!! I chose the Russott Hotel by random Google search, when I was planning a work trip to Venice, and I was not disappointed in my choice: this hotel, despite it being in need of refurbishment upon my initial thoughts, was a Wonderful experience. it is a True Vencian experience, and the close link to a tram stop (3 minutes walk) to Venice Old town, it turned out to be a Wonderful choice . Lovely experience staying here for 5 nights, lovely and friendly staff. Staff were extremely helpful with any questions we had with travel or places to eat ect. The room was good, clean and tidy with hair dryer, mini fridge & tv. He helped us book excursions and showed us exactly where to go and what times. Massive shout out to the gentleman on reception everyday 11am-11pm nothing is ever a trouble ans always greeted with a smile. The hotel location was great 10 minute tram to Venice central. A grocery store just up the road, followed by bars, amazing pizza takeaway, geleteo bar. To anyone like us (couple) looking for a nice place to stay on your city break, this is the perfect place to crash. Don’t be put off by 2 star rating !!!

I have been travelling to many cities in Europe for a month, and I would say this hotel is one of the best hotels that I have ever visited. Definitely loved its convenient location, considering that you only need to walk a few minutes to get to the bus stop that takes you to Venice and less than 10 minutes to get to the train station. The room that we had was simply amazing. It was big and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Didn’t expect it to be this grand because of how cheap the cost was.

Purchased a last minute wowcher Holliday, including the hotel San Carlo, Mestre, Venice. As it wasn’t a bank breaking trip, we didn’t really expect much from the hotel, but upon arrival, we were greeted by lovely staff, a clean, large size room with good facilities. Staff were very helpful with transportation and information of the city. Hotel is located perfectly, 20 mins from the airport (£8pp bus ride) and a 5 minute walk away from the tram to take you to and from the heart of Venice (£3 return pp). Couldn’t fault it, will definitely be using again.

Few minutes walk to the tram stop and direct line to Venice approx 30 mins. Ask the locals about how to get a tram ticket online super easy. Friendly staff. Missed out on the breakfast as we got there so late but overall great place and good value.

Free parking lot, ATM machine, very good restaurant, the BUS station is right in front of the hotel and it only takes 10 minutes to get to Venice Island. If you are driving by yourself, it is an ideal hotel (it is not far from the old town), front desk staff and restaurant The waiters are great and they can sell BUS tickets at the front desk, which is super convenient! I originally thought about driving to the island, but after listening to the front desk clerk’s advice, I decisively bought a BUS ticket and took the bus at the door. It turned out to be super correct!

The rooms are pleasant, there is a refrigerator, air conditioning 3. The hotel is small, it was quiet Cons are not critical, but still: 1. There are no screens on the windows, we were bitten by mosquitoes 2. The air conditioner is very old and noisy, even at minimum power. I stayed at the NH Laguna last night after working a long flight from Canada. The beds were comfortable and it was very easy to access Venice by metro. I just had to recognize Teresa at the breakfast restaurant who made my day before working the flight home. She was so kind and friendly with a genuine smile and served me with such pleasure that I can tell tell that she genuinely loves her job and interacting with people and making their stay special. She pit me kn a great mood to work get flight home and reminded me to always greet my passengers with a smile.
